Our Youth Employment Manager role is an exciting new opportunity to lead on Poetic Unity’s innovative Employment programmes, which makes up one of our three priority areas: Mental Health, Employment and Education. Key responsbilities 

- Be responsible for the development and management of the Chief Operations Officer Senior Leadership Training (COO SLT) - an innovative training programme for 10 Black young people to achieve the skills required to thrive in positions of senior leadership

- Be directly responsible for the management of the annual Cultural Leaders programme - a 12 month employment programme for 5 Black young people each year, working across different areas of Poetic Unity and with partners across the sector to develop transferable skills.

- Design, implement and manage The Blueprint - a national framework of best practice for the employment of Black young people in creative organisations

- Ensure all Employment programmes are effectively meeting the needs of the target demographic and are aligned with Poetic Unity’s strategic Vision

We’re looking for a competent and experienced Finance Manager to join our core team to cover maternity leave from September 2026 for around 6 months, with high likelihood of permanent extension following the cover period.

Coram Children’s Legal Centre is looking for a new Paralegal to join our dedicated, friendly and highly experienced Immigration & Asylum team.

The successful candidate will assist solicitors and senior caseworkers in providing legal advice and representation to primarily legal aid funded clients, including children and young people, parents, carers and others in relation to their immigration & asylum needs.

This is a senior role with responsibility for the strategic direction, quality and impact of We Belong’s youth development portfolio. Reporting to the CEO and working as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead programmes spanning early intervention, educational attainment, further and higher education, employability, skills development, youth leadership and progression into positive opportunities.

You will oversee the Let Us Learn Programme, Emerging Young Leaders Programme, Schools Excellence Programme and Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Bronze programme. The Context:

Following the landmark Supreme Court judgment in the Tigere case, which helped secure fairer access to higher education for young migrants, We Belong has continued working to ensure that young people can progress into higher education. This has included successful campaigning to increase scholarship opportunities and building strong relationships with educational institutions across the UK.

However, more work is needed. Young migrants can experience significant barriers to educational attainment, further and higher education, employment and personal development because of their immigration status.

These barriers can arise long before a young person reaches the point of applying to university, beginning an apprenticeship or entering employment. We recognise that university is not the only pathway to success and that young people should be supported to explore a range of routes that reflect their ambitions, strengths and circumstances.

Early intervention is therefore essential to ensure that young migrants understand their rights, receive accurate information and appropriate support, and are able to make informed decisions about their education, training, employment and future.

XLP is a youth work charity working to create positive futures for young people and at the cutting edge of 
tackling poverty and educational failure in inner London. We deliver holistic, long-term work with young 
people aged 11 to 25 in schools and communities.

We are looking for a passionate Mentoring Specialist to join our team. The role involves recruiting, training 
and supervising volunteer mentors from the local community to support young people engaged in the XLP 
Mentoring Programme.

You will be enabling support for young people who may be navigating complex challenges, including 
community safety concerns and the risks of exploitation. The XLP Mentoring Programme focuses on 
supporting young people aged 11 to 18 who are at risk of school exclusion, involvement in crime or social

The Role

Panel Member 

We are seeking proactive and passionate individuals to join our Fostering Panel. We welcome applicants with a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and therapeutic care, and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people in care.

We are particularly interested in hearing from:

• Foster carers
• Individuals with lived experience of care who have lived within a children's residential, foster or adoptive home.
• Professionals from therapeutic backgrounds
• Professionals with experience and background in Education or Social Work

The successful applicants must be IT literate, as documentation is shared at online meetings on a monthly basis. The Panel meets via Microsoft Teams on the second Tuesday of each month, but additional meetings may be scheduled as needed. The successful candidate may need to travel to attend an annual panel business day in person and other occasional meetings and training. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading the meeting documents carefully before the meeting and attending the meeting prepared to raise issues and to contribute to the panel discussion.
• Participating in the making of recommendations on each case, drawing on both personal and professional knowledge and experience.
• To attend at least 75 per cent of meetings of the panel.
• To be prepared to attend additional panels, if possible, if requested.
• To participate, with other panel members, in advising on policy and procedural matters as required.

• To participate in panel induction and in panel training, which will be at least one day per year.

YES care about young people's mental health, sexual health and wellbeing. The Outreach and Support Officer will deliver knowledgeable, high-quality, youth-centred support to young people in various settings.

You will get out into the community offering groups, 121 support and workshops.  You will be a key part of our Information and Guidance team, delivering wellbeing programmes for YES. 

This role is frontline and delivery-focused, supporting the development of inclusive services in outreach settings such as schools, youth clubs, social spaces and groups and will be pivotal within our small team of young people's support staff. 

The Head of Grants will take a leading role in shaping The Childhood Trust’s grant-making approach. This is both a strategic and practical role - the postholder will manage the full cycle for our existing grant-making (Big Give) campaign and oversee a small team. Working closely with the Director of Programmes and Impact, Chief Executive, Senior Leadership Team and Board, they will use evidence, learning and sector insight to help design and deliver the next phase of The Childhood Trust’s grant-making programme. This is a role for someone who can work independently, take ownership and make things happen. 

The postholder will also use their experience and sector knowledge to recommend and implement new ways of supporting the sector through our new capacity building programme (Thrive Together), ensuring that The Childhood Trust’s grant-making is both innovative and impactful. They will contribute to the development of our youth voice work and ensure that the voices of children and young people are embedded across all aspects of grant-making.
