Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for 3 x Caseworkers to join a new and innovative Fraud Peer Support Pilot Project. This project will be delivered by a Caseworker team based in South London, Kent and Sussex. We are looking for four enthusiastic and motivated people who can demonstrate the ability, passion and determination to deliver an effective and innovative service that can transform the lives of adult fraud victims.

These roles are home-based in South London, Kent or Sussex and will require travel across these areas. The roles are full-time working 37.5 hours per week but applications for part-time hours will also be considered.

About the Role:

As part of the Fraud Peer Support Caseworker team you will be responsible for:

  • contacting fraud victims to assess the risks they are facing and to discuss their support needs
  • providing individual, tailored support for victims of fraud, particularly those affected by relationship/romance fraud
  • setting up and delivering online and in-person group peer support work
  • working in close partnership with police, local authorities and other key stakeholders to ensure fraud victims can access our services
  • supporting victims to ensure their voices are heard in and beyond the criminal justice system

The areas for delivery of the pilot are South London, Kent and Sussex and the post-holders will need to reside in one of these, and will be able to travel across the three areas
