The Oxfordshire Homelessness Alliance (the Alliance) is a group of organisations (Local government, A2 Dominion, Aspire, Connection Support, Elmore, Homeless Oxfordshire and St Mungo’s) that came together in 2022 to deliver single homelessness services across the county under one contract.
Services delivered by the Alliance include the city and county outreach services for people experiencing rough sleeping, supported accommodation such as the hostel O’Hanlon House, shared dispersed supported accommodation, and homelessness prevention services.
The Alliance is commissioned through a pooled annual budget of c£3.8m which all District Councils in Oxfordshire, the City Council, the County Council, and the Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and Buckinghamshire Integrated Care Services, contribute towards. Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City are the lead commissioners of the Alliance.
As part of the initiative, the Alliance will deliver an ambitious housing led change programme which is seeing services remodelled to support and enable people to live in their own homes and fulfil their aspirations.
This role is hosted by Connection Support which is part of the Oxfordshire Homelessness Alliance. The role will be guided by the work plan of both the alliance chair and the alliance commissioners.
The impact you will have
As the Oxfordshire Homelessness Alliance Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in making the alliance and the services it delivers a success. You will provide strategic and operational oversight and day to day leadership and management.
You will strive to improve the services that are delivered by working closely with the Alliance Leadership and Management Team, partners, commissioners, and organisations working to put an end to homelessness. Fostering and enabling a culture of continuous improvement will be at the heart of your work.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 30hrs to 37.5hrs per week
Salary: £42,322 - £47,949 per annum, dependent on experience. Please note that the salary displayed is the full time equivalent and will be prorated for less than 37.5 hours.
Location: The role is a hybrid of home and office locations and a willingness and ability to travel and work at sites across Oxfordshire at least 2 days each week is essential.

About you
You have proven experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating change management programmes, ensuring delivery within agreed budgets and timeframes. You’re also confident in reporting on financial performance and using data to inform decision-making.
With excellent project management skills, you're passionate about working collaboratively across a wide range of stakeholders. You bring solid knowledge of programme planning and monitoring frameworks such as MSP, APM, PRINCE2, or similar methodologies.
Your strong communication and influencing skills enable you to build effective relationships, inspire confidence, and drive innovation—all of which support the success and ongoing development of the Alliance Change Programme.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred; however, this is not essential as long as you are able to travel across Oxfordshire as required.

The Criminal Justice Services Manager will manage and develop all aspects of Birth Companions’ criminal justice-based services and line-manage the criminal justice services Coordinators, (currently three staff members but this likely to increase as we expand our services).
They will develop and maintain strategic partnerships with other relevant agencies and ensure the successful delivery of services through internal monitoring and evaluation, external evaluation and the charity’s governance structures.

Job Summary
As part of a wider Mission and Ministry Team, the Mission and Discipleship Trainer will equip and support lay ministers and all interested learners in their theological understanding, spiritual growth, and practical ministry skills. They will contribute to the teaching and worship life of the diocese, engaging with a breadth of Anglican traditions.There are three key aspects of the responsibilities in this role.
- The first is, in communication with the Mission and Discipleship Enabler, to develop more contextual and locally based training contexts for existing and emerging learning and training programmes to facilitate more accessibility for parishes and benefices for which the diocesan offices are less accessible. This will involve working with strategic places identified in the South, Southwest, and North of the diocese to implement the vision to establish ‘satellite’ training centres. Initially this will focus on BPP (Bishop’s Permission to Preach); BCM programmes (Bishop’s Commission for Mission); and introductory theology and discipleship programmes.
- The second is promoting discipleship and ministerial training through networking and intentional communications to accelerate efforts being made to equip a broader demographic of Christians with leadership skills in view of the diocesan and national Church of England vision and values to become ‘younger and more diverse’. This will involve working collaboratively with the Mission and Discipleship Enabler, the Young Vocations Team (team under development), and the Racial Justice Advisor, alongside other team members and also work with clergy to understand specific contexts of training needs arising. Success in promotions and ‘recruitment’ of more diverse Christians will require working with the COMs team to support effective use of social media to target younger audiences, facilitate fast updates of events, and identify opportunities for story sharing.
- Thirdly, there is a responsibility to oversee, grow, and develop the network of Children, Youth and Families ministers/workers. This will include responsibility for organising, hosting and, where appropriate, delivering training at these events, and overseeing the BCM in Children, Youth and Families work. Part of the work will also be to support specific CYF workers including, where helpful, visiting them on site to encourage and advise them in their work and put them in communication with the network for mutual ongoing support. It will involve keeping up to date with the national initiatives for CYF to facilitate a connected approach. An important development in this aspect of the role will be to help implement a vision for more collaborative work with the Education Team to promote and help facilitate close working between churches and schools across the diocese.
Key role requirements:
This is an office-based role, with the expectation to work for 2-3 days per week from home. The role will involve travel across the diocese, with occasional evening and weekend commitments.
About you: We are seeking someone who can demonstrate the following background and experience:
- A BA (Hons) or equivalent in theology is essential. An MA or higher degree in theology is desirable. Excellent level of English both spoken and written.
- Demonstrated success in training, and supporting volunteer teams is essential.
- Experience in developing and maintaining digital learning environments and online resources is essential.
- Track record of evaluating learning outcomes and adapting training approaches based on participant feedback.

Who you are
We’re looking for an experienced movement builder to make the student movement a powerful force in the UK. The Movement Development team is a new team in NUS, focusing on building an inclusive student voice and strong and healthy student activism that can unlock the collective power of the 7 million students and apprentices we represent. We will achieve this through projects that;
- develop the means for marginalised and under-represented student groups to campaign together; ranging from growing the Liberation Collective for racialised, women, LGBT , trans and disabled students, to building new structures for strong student voice in further education
- convene a political student and youth movement, strengthening its voice in civil society through organising and democratic engagement
- equip students with the skills, democracy and tools to build resilient campaign communities
You’ll be excited by the power and potential in the student movement, and you’ll have the magical combination of campaign and project management skills along with the aptitude for navigating political spaces and forging relationships across our diverse movement of member students’ unions, student activists and stakeholders. Initially you’ll manage our liberation and equality work but there will be scope to lead a broad range of projects as we grow.

About Us
SOS Rape Crisis (SOSRC) is an independent specialist sexual violence charity providing support for adults (regardless of gender), young people and children who have experienced sexual violence and/or child sexual abuse, in Southend, Castle Point and Rochford.
We are part of Synergy Essex, a partnership of three Rape Crisis Centres (SOSRC, SERICC and CARA), funded by the Office for the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex to provide a countywide ISVA service.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a dedicated team providing vital support to survivors of sexual violence and abuse. As a Navigator Project Worker, you will be the first point of contact for individuals accessing Southend-on-Sea Rape Crisis services. You will offer compassionate, trauma-informed, and needs led support, helping survivors feel heard and understood from the outset. Through careful assessment and informed referrals, you’ll play a key role in connecting survivors with the most appropriate services.
Key Responsibilities

Provide a professional and empathic first point of contact for survivors of sexual violence and/or abuse.

Offer one-off emotional and practical support, and provide information, signposting and onward referrals.

Complete initial assessments to identify their needs and most appropriate next steps.

Keep accurate, timely and confidential records on the case management system.

Work in partnership with SOSRC colleagues including the Counselling and ISVA Teams.

Attend team meetings, one-to-ones, clinical supervision, line management and other meetings as required.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection legislation and guidelines.

Contribute to monitoring and evaluation and meet administrative requirements.

Work in accordance with all SOSRC policies and procedures.

Attend regular training and maintain a good working knowledge of sexual violence and its impact.
