We are recruiting for a Immediate Individual Giving Officer for a FTC for 2 months ,which could be extended for an inspiring children's charity. You will be supporting the administration of a summer appeal going out , we are looking for an immediate candidate who can start in June, initially the contract it will be for 2 months .
Hybrid Working min 2 days in the office
The Role
To act as the first point of contact for Individual Giving and provide on-going support to donors. This includes but is not limited to, thanking donors, responding to enquiries and providing support and advice in relation to donating to the charity
To deliver and fine tune stewardship for all one-off and regular donors. Stewardship must thank supporters in a timely manner and provide information and inspiration to show how the donor how their gift makes a difference. This includes sending emails and letters, welcome packs, and personalised email updates and resources.
To support the Head of Public Fundraising with appeals and other Individual Giving projects that the charity will be running an appeal in June and in November and December in the lead up to Christmas.
To utilise Raisers Edge database to record and track donor interactions.
To manage income processing for one-off donations, cash and cheques.
To work with the Database Manager to tidy donor records and maintain accurate records.
The Candidate
Knowledge and understanding of Individual Giving fundraising
Knowledge and understanding of the importance of donor care
Track record of communicating with supporters by telephone and through written communications Experience of delivering stewardship plans to maximise income and engagement
Knowledge and understanding of Data Protection legislation
Experience with a CRM system (i.e. Raisers Edge)
Good planning and organisation skills
Excellent IT and Microsoft Office skills

About the role
Are you passionate about active travel and community engagement? This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Active Journeys team at Sustrans, based in the London, East and South-East region. As a Project Officer, you will play a dynamic role in delivering a variety of walking, wheeling, and cycling projects that make a real difference to people's lives.
In this varied role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering practical activities for young people in schools, supporting the implementation of School Streets to create safer and healthier environments, and working closely with the National Cycle Network and Infrastructure teams on community engagement for related schemes. You will engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships to ensure the successful delivery of projects, and will also be responsible for integrating Sustrans volunteers into your work to help maximise impact and community involvement.
This role requires regular travel within the region and the flexibility to work on-site at various project locations on behalf of Sustrans.
About you
You should have experience working with schools and/or community groups, which may include voluntary work. You’ll be confident managing small projects while also contributing effectively as part of a team and building collaborative relationships. We’re looking for someone who understands active travel and the challenges faced by communities experiencing inequalities. You should also have a good understanding of behaviour change theories, safeguarding principles, and health and safety legislation, including conducting risk assessments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work across multiple projects and lead group workshops. You will be proactive, able to manage your own workload, and confident in solving problems as they arise[JB1] .

Aquarius is a charity that helps people and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. We are part of ‘One Recovery Buckinghamshire’ (ORB), a partnership between Inclusion (MPFT NHS Trust), Aquarius, and Build on Belief providing support for alcohol and drug issues across Buckinghamshire. The purpose of the role is to engage people in a variety of interventions, using a person centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and achieve positive outcomes. All Complex Needs Practitioners (Recovery Worker) work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings. The caseload will include a mixture of community and multi-agency referral pathways including health and social care. You will join our caring multi-disciplinary teams, to help empower you to provide quality psychosocial interventions to our diverse client groups. A core part of the role will be working with people to address holistic support needs across all aspects of the person’s substance use and wellbeing. This could include diverse work related to physical and emotional health, meaningful use of time, family and relationships, community engagement and activities, accommodation, physical and emotional health, offending as well as substance use (drug use and / or alcohol use). An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies).
