At Hestia, we are guided by our core values and are dedicated to fostering an equitable, diverse, and inclusive organisation. Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Right now, we are looking for a Part time Intervention Worker to play a pivotal role in our Criminal Justice service in Battersea.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
This role involves working within a team and multi-agency setting at an Approved Premises (AP), supporting and supervising high-risk offenders as they transition from prison to community life. Staff are expected to maintain public protection as a core priority by engaging residents daily, offering guidance and support, enforcing compliance when necessary, and promoting independence rather than doing tasks for residents. Duties include enforcing curfews and substance testing, maintaining health and safety, completing accurate records, collaborating with probation and external partners, and contributing to a respectful and structured living environment. Staff work on a rolling rota, and are required to follow operational procedures while embodying Hestia's values and approach.
What do I need to bring with me?

s this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.
Here's what the team will be looking for
The role requires the ability to maintain firm yet fair boundaries, exercising authority appropriately while building positive, pro-social relationships. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a hands-on, practical approach, strong communication skills, a belief in people's capacity for change, and a solid understanding of safeguarding practices.
