Harrogate Homeless Project

Support Worker job advert

Harrogate Homeless Project is seeking to recruit a Support Worker to join the Client Services Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team and to have the opportunity to make a real difference to our work.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of our hostel, Springboard reception and flats. As part of a team, help meet our clients’ personal, social, learning, work and housing needs to meet HPP’s objectives.

We are looking for someone to give person-centred support for clients in a welcoming, safe, non-discriminatory and non-judgmental environment.If you have a passion for making a difference to homelessness in Harrogate, then we would love to hear from you.

This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours a week. There will be a weekly shift pattern to cover our hours of operation from 7.30am to 8.30pm.  Some flexibility is required to vary working hours to cater to client needs and assisting them with their appointments.  The salary for the post is £24,250 and after a 6-month probationary period will rise to £24,750.  A pay increase is pending in April.

This position will be based across our two sites – Hostel, Bower Street, Harrogate, HG1 5BQ and Springboard, Lower Hall Wesley Centre, Oxford Street, Harrogate, HG1 1PP.
