You’ll serve as the go-to technical expert for our CRO team, translating briefs into robust solutions, meeting requirements, and providing trusted advice on feasibility, best practice, and timelines. Over time, you’ll master our testing tools, ensuring seamless test setup and rollout.

Your attention to detail and knowledge of QA means every user gets an optimal experience, regardless of device or browser. You’ll also support the wider CRO team by reviewing and troubleshooting tests, and your knowledge of custom tracking code (particularly datalayer events) will make you an indispensable part of our team.

The Role

About the Service

The aim of the Hertfordshire Mind Network Domestic Abuse Casework Service is to provide advice, information, and support to survivors of intimate partner or familial violence living in the community about the range, effectiveness, and suitability of options to improve their safety and that of their children. All advice will be based on a thorough understanding and assessment of risk and its management.

About the role

The purpose of the Hertfordshire Mind Network Community Outreach Worker role is to:

• Provide support and advocacy services to clients experiencing domestic abuse
• Ensure direct contact is made with the client within a specified time of an incident being reported to the police and to carry out a risk assessment.
• Ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly.
• Maintain and enhance service delivery standards and effectiveness.
• Support the team with case management and volume of referrals to ensure a short waiting time and referrals are contacted promptly and assessed appropriately.
• Collate and obtain feedback regarding the effectiveness of the service.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the wellbeing of clients who are affected by domestic abuse.
• Contribute to a reduction in repeat victimisation
• Reduce the number of victims withdrawals of witness statements
• Be aware of the impact on children of domestic abuse and make referrals to appropriate agencies to support the children where necessary.
• Increase the reporting of children at risk of harm
• Increase successful court outcomes by proactively supporting clients and work with the witness services for cases going to court
• Work with the wider team within Hertfordshire Mind Network and support clients in accessing additional support e.g. counselling, peer support, employment support and self-development courses
• Work with other professionals e.g. police, health, social care, housing, and signpost and liaise with such agencies as necessary
• Work with and signpost to other third sector partner agencies as necessary
• Provide a first point of contact for professionals and clients and pass on necessary cases or referrals to the Domestic Abuse Caseworker.
• Refer to the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) if required and local IDVA service.

Job Role: Management Accountant

We are seeking a high-calibre, values-driven Management Accountant to support our Head of Finance in delivering excellent financial stewardship across the church and our trading subsidiary.

Ruach City Church is going through a very exciting period of change and expansion. To be to be successful for this role you will need to be part qualified or fully qualified (or be qualified by experience) with knowledge and experience of both financial and management accounting, and good technical knowledge of financial systems.

Responsibilities - Key financial and management accounting functions including:

• Month-end and year-end close
• Budget preparation and reporting
• Financial controls, reconciliations and audit support
• Supervision of finance team workload
• Fixed assets, income and expenditure monitoring
• Production of accurate and timely management accounts

About You

• A recognised accounting qualification (or current study toward one)
• Knowledge of both financial and management accounting, and good technical knowledge of financial process management including Sage
• Proven experience of providing accounting services in an accounting department.
• Experience producing clear financial reports and reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity and organisational skills
• The ability to build relationships and support both finance colleagues and stakeholders
• Has experience in charity finance or fund accounting (desirable, not essential)

We are seeking a Maintenance and Gardening Assistant to join our dedicated team at Lister House care home in Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Help us provide and maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. In this hands-on role, you’ll take pride in maintaining our building and grounds to the highest standards.

This is a permanent, full-time, role working 35 hours per week across 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays.

Key responsibilities:

- Carry out general maintenance and repairs. Perform minor building, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and decorating tasks.
- Conduct safety and compliance checks. Complete regular inspections and testing of fire safety systems, water management. Maintain accurate records and escalate hazards and health and safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain grounds and gardens i.e. mowing, pruning, planting, clearing debris to keep outdoor areas safe and presentable.
- Undertake risk assessments for events to ensure safe access across the site.

A building trade qualification and experience of carrying out maintenance duties in a care home or similar environment would be an advantage.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you must have a full clean driving licence and hold a D1/PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle). An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
