About the role
Save the Children is seeking a Senior Advocacy and Partnership Manager to lead and coordinate our engagement with key stakeholders across Ireland, supporting our global ambition to ensure children affected by conflict, humanitarian crises and poverty can survive, learn and thrive.
This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in managing and strengthening Save the Children's relationships with the Irish Government, civil society partners, academic institutions and colleagues across the wider Save the Children movement. Acting as a key focal point for our work in Ireland, you will help shape strategic partnerships, manage key contracts, coordinate cross-organisational initiatives and support policy and advocacy efforts that advance children's rights globally.
Working closely with colleagues in Northern Ireland, the UK, Europe and international country offices, you will provide strategic advice, facilitate collaboration and identify opportunities to enhance Save the Children's influence, partnerships and impact.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and strengthen Save the Children's strategic relationships with the Irish Government, institutional stakeholders, civil society partners and academic organisations, acting as a key focal point for engagement across Ireland.
- Identify and develop opportunities to enhance partnerships, influence, collaboration and funding in support of Save the Children's global and national priorities.
- Coordinate and manage strategic partnership initiatives and collaborative projects, working across Save the Children, Save the Children International, country offices and external stakeholders to deliver shared objectives.
- Support the development and implementation of advocacy and influencing strategies focused on children affected by conflict, humanitarian crises and poverty.
- Monitor political, policy and funding developments in Ireland, providing strategic analysis, intelligence and advice to colleagues across the Save the Children movement.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with policymakers, government officials, NGOs and coalition partners to advance child rights and humanitarian objectives.
About you
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Significant experience managing relationships with government, institutional or donor stakeholders. As well as working with civil society organisations and coalitions.
- Experience working within advocacy, public affairs, policy, international development or partnership-focused roles.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across diverse audiences.
- Experience coordinating complex projects or partnerships involving multiple organisations and teams.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare briefings and present complex information clearly to senior audiences.
- Knowledge of humanitarian, international development or child rights issues, particularly in relation to conflict-affected contexts.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify opportunities, risks and emerging trends.

Location & Ways of Working:
This role can be performed remotely on the island of Ireland, but at times you will be required to come to your contracted office in Belfast (usually between 1–2 days per month, depending on the needs of your role, team, or service). The role of Communications and Publications Support Officer is key in helping us share knowledge, support our networks, and deliver high-quality outputs that influence practice and policy.
Responsibilities include:
• Produce and distribute the Faculty for Homeless and Inclusion Health fortnightly newsletter (via Mailchimp)
• Support the development and scheduling of social media content, helping to grow engaging content and reach

Ashinaga UK is recruiting a Programme Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to support the delivery of the Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AAI) leadership scholarship programme for African Scholars studying in the UK. As part of a mission-driven global organisation, the coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth programme operations, student support, and administrative excellence throughout the annual Scholar cycle. This role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.
Programme Coordinator
- Location: Hybrid. Candidates must be willing to travel regularly for programme activities and team meetings.
- Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday with occasional work on weekends or evenings.

Key Responsibilities
Programme Coordination & Operations
- Support the end-to-end delivery of Ashinaga UK’s annual programme cycle (including university preparation camps, inductions, monthly calls, workshops, summits, and graduation activities).
- Deliver administrative logistics, schedules, venues, travel arrangements, and programme communications.
- Coordinate event speaker invitations, facilitator briefs, and session materials.
- Track Scholar attendance, progress and compliance across the year.

Scholar Support
- Support Scholars in their academic, personal and professional development through the AAI leadership framework, including check-ins, coaching and progress tracking.

- Support Scholars as they develop their Ashinaga Proposal social impact projects.
Data & Systems Management
- Maintain programme records, databases, and reporting tools (including through our Scholar App, CRM, and internal systems).
- Support line-manager in monitoring programme KPIs and documenting insights.
Communication
- Write articles, Scholar profiles, and programme updates for use on the Ashinaga UK website, newsletters, and external reports.
- Create multimedia content (photos, short videos, social media material) to showcase Scholar stories and impact

About the role
The Head of External Relations is a key senior leadership role at Rainforest Foundation UK (RFUK) responsible for overseeing effective fundraising and communications strategies to support the organisation's work protecting rainforests and the rights of Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is responsible for building RFUK’s external profile and support for its ambitious 2033 vision to scale up community-led protection of tropical forests. Equal Education is a social enterprise working to improve outcomes and narrow the attainment gap for disadvantaged and vulnerable learners, including Children Looked After, those with SEND, and unaccompanied asylum seeking children. We have over 13 years’ experience delivering 1:1 tuition, working with hundreds of Schools and Local Authority partners across the country, reaching hundreds of pupils annually.

What is the Role?
In this role, you will drive business growth by securing new partnerships and managing key client accounts across designated regions. The Role
The Events Manager will work closely with the Directors and Senior Leaders to drive the organisation’s strategic development, financial resilience, and stakeholder relationships. As a key member of the leadership team, you will design and deliver a comprehensive annual events programme that aligns with the charity’s strategic plan and provides tangible support to schools across the North East and beyond. Your primary focus will be the execution of a successful events programme and a robust income strategy for Schools North East. About the role
We are looking for an experienced Partnerships and Advocacy Manager to strengthen The Politics Project’s influencing and partnerships work, with a focus on Democracy Classroom - a non-partisan network of organisations across the youth, education and democracy sectors. You’ll lead the implementation of the new Democracy Classroom strategy, and grow the network’s impact and reach in the build up to the next general election and the implementation of votes at 16.
You will play a central role in expanding and activating the network - supporting over 100 partner organisations to collaborate effectively, share learning, build trust and increase their collective impact. You will be a key player in keeping the sector informed, connected and ready to respond to key moments in democratic engagement, from elections to policy changes.
You will take on a highly relational role, working closely with the team to manage and nurture a complex network blending multiple sectors. You’ll help position Democracy Classroom as an important conduit between the sector and major stakeholders like government departments and funders.

The Policy Directorate brings together the Academy’s policy, analysis and external affairs functions to address major science and health policy issues in the UK and internationally. About Action Tutoring
At Action Tutoring, we believe every child should be given the opportunity to succeed in school. But in the UK today, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds are less likely to
achieve the grades they need to progress in life. This isn't because they are any less able; they have less access to the tools to help them reach their potential.
We don't think this is fair. We know tutoring is an effective way of improving academic attainment and so we harness the power of volunteer tutors to bridge the gap and ensure this help can be accessed by every pupil who needs it, not just those who can afford it.
We specifically help pupils facing socio-economic disadvantage and who are at risk of leaving primary or secondary school without reaching national standards in their exams. About the opportunity
We are looking for a strong candidate with formal teaching qualifications and experience teaching core National Curriculum subjects to join our established Impact and Quality department as Curriculum and Quality Manager. This role has oversight for ensuring the creation and delivery of high-quality, tailored tutoring resources for pupils and tutors, and managing the quality assurance processes within our organisation. This role includes line managing a team composed of two Curriculum Leads. You will also work closely with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications Department to provide matrix project leadership for the delivery of Initial Tutor Training.

You will manage facility scheduling, equipment utilisation, maintenance programmes, service contracts, and the procurement of consumables, gases, and chemicals. Working closely with academic staff, researchers, PhD students, and external collaborators, you will provide expert support in nanofabrication techniques and process development, helping users achieve their research objectives. The role also includes responsibility for maintaining and troubleshooting specialist equipment, including atomic layer deposition (ALD), magnetron sputtering, and thermal evaporation systems, developing training programmes, managing health and safety compliance, preparing risk assessments and SOPs, and ensuring the facility remains at the highest operational standards.
We are seeking a nanofabrication specialist with substantial experience working within a cleanroom environment and a strong understanding of thin-film deposition technologies. You will possess expertise in techniques such as physical vapour deposition, atomic layer deposition, sputtering, or related fabrication methods, alongside experience supporting research, developing processes, and maintaining complex scientific equipment. You will be a confident communicator, capable of training and supporting users from a wide range of scientific backgrounds, and will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, a strong commitment to health and safety, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy research environment. A degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline is essential, while a postgraduate qualification, experience with thin-film characterisation techniques, professional accreditation, or formal health and safety training would be advantageous.

The Vacancy
We are looking for a talented Research and Development Officer to join our children and families team at Research in Practice. In this role you will develop and deliver accessible content and learning activities that promote evidence-informed practice and policy across child and family social care, youth and family justice as part of our annual delivery programme for our partners. You will also be involved in the delivery of commissioned project work.
The successful candidate will have experience designing and delivering resources, workshops, webinars, and events for a range of audiences, including senior leaders.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong written and editorial skills, excellent facilitation skills and who is confident distilling complex information into accessible learning materials. While the position requires engagement with and understanding of research, it is not a primary research role.
Key responsibilities are:
- Producing evidence-informed practice and policy resources in a range of formats (e.g. publications, videos, podcasts, animations). This includes evidence scoping, content development, commissioning, project management, editing, writing and quality assuring resources from inception to publication.
- Leading the development and delivery of concise, accessible content and learning activities to enable the development of evidence-informed practice and policy in the sector.
- Developing and facilitating learning sessions and events with a range of participants, including senior leaders across the sector.
- Working on a range of commissioned project work, from development/design through to analysis; presenting findings on completion and representing Research in Practice in project teams with academic and practice partners.
- Building strong relationships with sector experts and effectively managing relationships with authors, facilitators, people with lived experience and those working in research, policy and practice.
