The successful candidate will work within an innovative tenant-led partnership called Ageing Well in Place in Hulme (AWiPiH) which includes tenants and community groups; local and national charities; GPs; housing providers; and support from a local university.
You will enable older and vulnerable people experiencing multiple disadvantage in high rise accommodation to 'age well in place' through one-to-one casework within a managed caseload and with supervisory support from a GP Fellow. You will work in collaboration with tenant committees; an Ageing Well Development Worker; the GP Fellow; and housing provider neighbourhood teams across two high-rise blocks. AWiPiH takes a preventative and proactive approach to wellbeing including health promotion, improved access to social care, housing adaptations, signposting on welfare rights, income maximisation and social participation. This role requires a person-centred and solution-focused approach to supporting people experiencing multiple and complex issues.
You will have a hybrid working arrangement including some working from home; some working based at a local GP practice; and on-site working across two neighbouring accommodation blocks in Hulme, central Manchester.

Role Purpose:
The Clinical Director will provide strategic clinical leadership to the Restraint Reduction Network, ensuring that all initiatives, standards, and practices align with evidence-based approaches, human rights principles, and the goal of reducing restrictive practices across education health and social care settings. Role Summary

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including audits, research, and evaluation of restraint reduction strategies.
- Monitor and report on clinical outcomes and impact measures related to restraint reduction.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with NHS Trusts, social care providers, special schools, regulators, and self-advocacy groups.
- Promote co-production with people with lived experience of restraint and their families.
Education & Workforce Development

Our Journey
S.A.L.V.E. International was founded in 2008 by Helen Huthwaite and Nicola Sansom. Since then, we have gone on to resettle 978 street connected children with their families. We have also supported 378 young people through education, rehabilitated over 1000 street connected children at our Residential Centre and initiated 495 small businesses to support families. Over the years, our advocacy work has included being part of Small Charity Week in the UK parliament, and being part of a delegation to the UN with the Consortium for Street Children.
Today we employ 4 staff in the UK and 27 in Uganda. Our annual turnover is approximately £300k. New developments in our work include sports programming and a very promising tailoring course. We are well on track to achieve our 2022-27 strategic goals - reaching more children, expanding support for girls, strengthening families and improving our funding sustainability.
Looking forward, the demand for our services continues to grow, whilst charities in general are facing a very difficult financial position. We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer who will consolidate and develop existing initiatives and continue to diversify our provision. They must be able to enhance our efforts to improve our long-term financial sustainability. Working in collaboration with the Board, they will develop our next strategic plan in line with our vision and values.
Job Purpose

Key Activities

STRATEGY
- Lead the organisation by working collaboratively with our global team of staff, volunteers, and board members to ensure a strong strategic plan is in place, which is reviewed and improved over time to maximise the organisation’s impact.
FUNDRAISING
- Leading and championing our fundraising strategy. Helping to develop our one off and regular financial supporters through finding new opportunities and networks, giving talks, ensuring quality timely communications, and reporting to existing supporters.
- Supporting and co-working with our Development Manager to research new application prospects, and helping to maintain and develop the income from our existing network of corporate, organisational and Trust and Foundation partnerships and donors. This includes writing and reviewing funding applications and reports as needed.
- Lead on the drafting of larger or multi-year funding applications, with support from the Development Manager to finalise.
FINANCE
- Overseeing the budget and financial management of the organisation to ensure the organisation’s long term sustainability and sound financial management, including creating the annual budget for approval by the UK Board.
- Collaboratively reviewing the charity’s financial controls and performance, including a final review of the monthly accounts (UK and Uganda), and overseeing the internal audit of our accounts with the finance committee.
- Ensuring the organisation is financially compliant according to the Charities Commission and meets all statutory requirements.
HR
- Recruiting, training, developing and managing staff and volunteers in the UK to help to build the capacity of the organisation as needed. This currently includes line managing: Ugandan Country Director, Development Manager, Communications Manager
- Support the Country Director with recruitment in Uganda.
- Creating a strong sense of team spirit and a culture of appreciation and reliability within the team by reinforcing organisation values and ensuring accountability.
GOVERNANCE
- Working closely with and supporting our UK and Ugandan boards to ensure that the governance of the organisation is strong.
- Lead on creating, reviewing, and developing policies, procedures and systems, including but not limited to ensuring quality safeguarding and risk management for the organisation.

- Ensuring the organisation is compliant according to the Charities Commission and meets all statutory requirements.
COMMUNICATION
- Overseeing the communications strategy of the organisation, ensuring the website, social media, newsletters, annual report and mailings out to supporters are kept up to date by supporting our Communications Manager. This includes drafting and checking copy and promoting and marketing events and campaigns for the organisation to raise funds and awareness.
- Being an advocate for the organisation, by seeking and maximising opportunities to represent the organisation, to help raise awareness and support for the work we do and the needs of street connected children generally.
PROGRAMMES and OPERATIONS
- Leading and collaborating with the wider team to develop and improve our programmes through regular evaluation and learning reviews.
- Support the Country Director to ensure the organisation operations function smoothy, and that the strategic plan can be implemented.
PARTNERSHIPS
- Representing S.A.L.V.E. in partnerships and networks such as the Consortium for Street Children to ensure that we are making the most of funding, partnership and advocacy opportunities.
- Manage relationships with key partners in the UK and internationally, to ensure we are collaborating to achieve the greatest impact.

- To be the Safeguarding Lead within the organisation, and continually strengthen safeguarding as a priority in all our work.

About SCEC
SCEC was founded over twenty years ago to provide learning enrichment opportunities to primary school children in disadvantaged communities in south London. Your Role
The Scheme Director is a newly created role that will be pivotal in helping SCEC extend its reach. Programme Coordinator

About Adolescent Health Study
The Adolescent Health Study (AHS) (Registered Charity Number 1213337) is an ambitious new UKRI-funded initiative to establish a prospective, longitudinal population study that will generate a globally leading open science data platform and research resource. AHS aims to recruit at least 100,000 young people from across the UK and to follow their mental and physical health and wellbeing over at least 10 years. It plans to collect data through questions and measures; to obtain bio-samples for a wide range of genomic and other high-throughput assays; and to capture linked data relevant to health and wellbeing from participants’ health, education and other administrative records. There will be a strong emphasis on engaging with and involving young people, schools, parents and other relevant stakeholders in the design and delivery of the study, as well as on including young people that represent as wide as possible a range of backgrounds, experiences and characteristics. AHS will focus on enabling a wide range of research, including studies of the critical biological and social developments that occur during the transition from childhood to adulthood and the determinants of both mental and physical health and wellbeing in adolescents and young adults.

Purpose of the post
The Strategic Data Lead will play a critical role in managing the study’s data pipeline, devising and implementing strategies for the collection, management, storage, documentation and curation of complex participant data, and sharing data with research users. In particular, there will be a need for innovative, remote data collection methods that are acceptable to children and young people taking part in the study. The role holder will provide specialist advice, direction and input to the wider scientific team to maximise the potential of the study data and future proof the resource. They will drive forward innovative solutions which enable the long-term strategic vision for data management in the study.
Main responsibilities
Strategy
- Provide expert input into the design and delivery of the study before data collection begins, maximising data quality and efficient management from the start.
- Devise and implement a data management strategy, including appropriate data architecture, meta-data and data pipeline(s), to support the study’s aims and meet the needs of the research community.
- Consider the long-term strategy for data preservation and discoverability, to futureproof the resource and ensure maximal use.
Technology and innovation
- Identify and oversee the delivery of novel solutions for collection and management of complex health data, including transfer of data from specialist equipment and mobile technology, such as wearables or app-based data.
- Lead procurement activities, where required, to support the data management strategy, translating the needs of users into appropriate specifications and working with third parties to oversee delivery of solutions.
Risk management and compliance
- Oversee the development, management and continual improvement of all procedures used to process, manage and store data, ensuring that they are kept up to date and comply with relevant legislation and local guidelines.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build relationships with other longitudinal population studies (LPS) in order to seek advice where appropriate and ensure sharing of best practise within the LPS community.
- Work closely with researchers, data scientists and national bodies, such as Population Research UK and the UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration, to support study objectives.

The Job
We are looking for a passionate and driven person who ideally has previous experience and skills working as an Instructor within an Assistance Dog organisation, who has worked with clients and partnerships. The role includes supporting both clients who have had a MDD dog placed with them and also our own dog applicants with their puppies and young dogs to ensure they receive the highest standard of socialisation and early training in terms of obedience, public access and developing an alert to the applicant’s condition, with the aim to reach an accreditable assistance dog partnership status. It is also will include carrying out client specific and odour training for MDD own dogs, placing these dogs with their new clients and looking after a number of established partnerships. This role would suit somebody residing in the central belt of Scotland, between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Duties that encompass the role of an Instructor include:
- Be the first point of contact for the allocated partnerships in your area, covering all areas of Scotland. To provide guidance and instruction to applicants who have applied to the charity to have their own dogs considered for the training programme guidance and instruction on handling, behaviour and obedience and odour training as well as newly placed partnerships.
- Alongside the Instructing team, to run puppy classes, public access training, recall sessions in small groups for applicant own dogs that are in line with the charity’s quality standards and in accordance with timescales and targets.
- To also carry out support visits and home interviews for applicants and clients that have been allocated to you.
- Regularly monitor progress of the puppies and partnerships in training in your area and provide detailed, evidenced feedback to Instructor Manager and Head of Assistance Dog Programme.
- To carry out client specific training with any MDD owned dogs that have been matched, including the required odour scent training.
- Instructing, guiding and supporting new assistance dog clients in managing and handling a Medical Alert Assistance Dog effectively, via pre training, placement training and aftercare visits.

- To escalate issues and problems to the Instructor Manager as appropriate.
- To assist the Dog Supply Team with carrying out scent assessments on any MDD dogs in socialising as and when required with the support of the Instructor Manager and rest of the Instructing Team.
- To plan, organise and deliver practical and theoretical training to clients, meeting their individual needs in line with agreed standards to include areas such as dog welfare, appropriate handling, commanding and overall management. This will involve working with the parents as Team Leader and child as Client and working with adult clients.
- Assess the team dynamics of the family & balancing the needs of all family members as well as those of the dog.
- Assess the individuals preferred learning style and amending as relevant to aid a client.
- To accompany the client into all regular environments that they will take the dog to, ensuring the dog behaves in an acceptable manner and that the client and others are aware and clear in terms of where they dog should reside and behave for eg public transport, place of work. To complete a check list of environments for any applicant own dogs in training who are on the programme to be assessed within.
- To support and advise clients in transferring the odour training from pot training and recognising alerting behaviours to establish real life alerting.
- To monitor the correct and false alerting percentages of allocated partnerships via data analysis, advising where necessary until the correct alerting levels are achieved.
- To complete comprehensive reports and paperwork for any time spent with applicants or partnerships in training or established. Maintain accurate records by providing verbal and written information with agreed timescales about clients, dogs, applicants and apprentices as appropriate.
- To work alongside allocated partnerships with the aim of the partnership reaching an accredited standard and feeding back to the Instructor Manager and Assistance Dog Programme Manager if there are any concerns that the accreditation cannot be achieved.
- To provide clients with appropriate aftercare services at regular intervals in their own homes in the form of annual visits, support visits or at refresher workshops run at the Centre to agreed standards. This will include continual re-assessment of the dynamics of family and dog, formulating and training on appropriate solutions, as well as offering additional dog training advice.
- To deliver handling days as part of an applicant’s pre training to include ‘Introduction to Assistance Dog’ ‘Advanced Handling’ and Family Handling.
- To scent train and seizure proof advanced dogs in preparation to be partnered with an adult or child client and ensure that applicant own dogs have received this at the earliest opportunity.
- To maintain the ongoing public access training with any advanced dog in scent training that has been allocated to them.
- To provide local support to the growing puppy socialisation scheme, based in and around Perth.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Mentoring Coordinator will contribute to upReach's mission, by helping to manage the day to day running of our professional mentoring programmes (Professional Mentoring and Ask an Expert). Professional Mentoring sees students on the upReach programme matched with a professional for a six month period, while Ask an Expert allows students to directly contact professionals for one-off conversations.
GRADUATE SCHEME SUMMARY
The Mentoring Coordinator role is part of upReach’s Future Charity Leaders Programme (FCLP). The FCLP provides you with a unique opportunity to:

Work directly on the upReach mentoring programmes, supporting young people and professionals to form successful mentoring relationships (4 days per week), while also;

Gaining exposure to various aspects of charity management through 6-month rotations (1 day per week).

Receiving training in Leadership throughout, and have the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship in Leadership and Management after 18 months on the programme (in place of rotations).

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Mentoring Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that upReach’s mentoring programmes (Professional Mentoring/Ask an Expert) operate smoothly and effectively, and will report to the Volunteering Programme Manager. 1) Supporting the smooth running of mentoring programmes:

Deliver day to day operational tasks, including making mentor and mentee matches and responding to professional/student queries received via the Mentoring inbox and the mentoring platform;

Act as the primary point of contact for mentors/professional volunteers and students using the upReach mentoring platforms, and take action to resolve any issues raised;

The Charity and Our Vision.
For over 15 years, Scotty's Little Soldiers has been supporting children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces. We are about to embark on an exciting journey which will see the charity evolve to support anyone affected by a military-connected bereavement and ultimately empower a community of more than 25,000 bereaved individuals and their families by 2035.
Founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott following the death of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, the charity currently offers a unique blend of emotional, practical, and educational support to over 750 young people.

Role Mission.
To ensure that Scotty’s understands and demonstrates the impact of its work — through high-quality research, meaningful measurement, and clear reporting. You will lead the development of internal and external research projects, manage beneficiary insight gathering, and oversee the systems and frameworks we use to evaluate and share our effectiveness.
This role is central to helping us improve what we do and explain why it matters and ensuring that lived experience remains at the heart of everything we do.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
Impact Measurement
- Develop and maintain frameworks to measure the outcomes of all services and programmes.
- Ensure Success Measures (KPIs) and qualitative feedback tools are aligned to our Theory of Change.
- Work with the Families (service delivery) team to embed consistent and meaningful data collection across all services.
- Design simple, automated reporting processes to reduce manual admin and improve data use.
Research & Insight
- Lead internal research projects using beneficiary data, surveys, and feedback loops.
- Scope and manage external research partnerships with academic institutions or sector bodies.
- Design and deliver surveys to beneficiaries and the wider bereaved military community
- Produce evidence to support service development, strategic decisions, influence national policy, and funding bids.
- Lead our existing advisory group (for children and young people) and establish new groups as required (e.g. for adult services).
- Ensure that lived experience remains at the heart of the charity’s focus on understanding of the need.
Communication of Impact
- Create clear, accessible insight reports and data summaries for internal and external use
- Lead the delivery of the annual Impact Report (content, structure, coordination with teams).
- Develop quarterly insight packs for funders and stakeholders, with engaging visuals and stories.
- Work with the Outreach Squad to ensure impact is integrated into campaigns and storytelling.
Learning & Collaboration
- Act as the internal ‘voice of insight’ – bringing beneficiary perspective and data into key conversations.
- Contribute to team training on evaluation, feedback collection, and outcomes thinking.
- Participate in cross-functional planning, especially with the Service Delivery and Outreach Squads.
Policy (Light Touch)
- Track key developments in bereavement, Armed Forces, and youth policy
- Produce brief summaries or ‘position snapshots’ where relevant to Scotty’s mission
- Build relationships with other research and impact professionals in the sector
The 30-day goals for this role are:
- Build a deep understanding of Scotty’s mission, our audience, the services we provide, and strategic direction.
- Develop a deep understanding of our current Success Measures, Impact measurements and Theory of Change.
- Reviewing research and data produced by the charity and related external research previously published.
- Understand the data structure and reporting capabilities of Salesforce.
- Understand existing commitments (e.g. funder report, impact reports etc).
- Taken ownership of our 2026 Community-wide survey (project will be handed over upon start).
The 60-day goals for this role are:
- Audit current data quality and gaps across the F-Team Programmes.
- Support the publishing of the 2025 Impact Report (NB this might have be published but let’s put it in for now).
- Scoped and invited members to join our first adult lived experience advisory group.
- Analysed and shared results of 2026 Community-wide survey.
- Reached out to relevant impact and research groups to introduce yourself, particularly those attached the military or bereavement charitable sectors.
- Identified 1-2 relevant conferences or forums for Scotty’s to present at.
The 90-day goals for this role are:
- Held at least 1 adult lived experience advisory group session.
- Created and shared the first quarterly Impact Review for internal use.
- Fully taken accountability for impact reporting and research projects within the charity and able to demonstrate a clear plan of action for the rest of the year.
- Proposed an outline for the Annual Family Feedback Survey in September.
About You
Must-Have
Proven experience in research and/or impact evaluation, ideally in the charity or public sector
Strong skills in data collection, survey design, and analysis
Excellent written communication and reporting skills
Able to translate data into real-world insight
Nice-to-Have
Experience working with or around the Armed Forces community
Understanding of trauma-informed or bereavement support practices
Experience producing Impact Reports or funding insight packs
Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM data tools
Some knowledge of public policy or third sector trends

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a respected and growing organisation, BPNA is looking for a highly motivated individual who can use their dedication, attention to detail and reliability to help us develop further. We are seeking to appoint a UK Short Course Co-ordinator to join our small team which is based across our Bolton and London offices. This is a full-time, permanent post based in Bolton, working 37.5 hours a week (7.5 hours per day x 5 days per week). The British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) is the professional organisation for doctors who specialise in the care of children with neurological disorders. The BPNA has developed a number of educational programmes for doctors in the UK and overseas both online and face-to-face. This role directly supports the education of healthcare professionals across the UK, impacting the care of children with neurological conditions.
ABOUT YOU
This role would suit an organised, efficient and practical person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good deal of common sense. You will also have diplomatic skills and the ability to build good relationships. You will need to be flexible, have an ability to problem-solve on-site, provide online zoom support, set up equipment such as computers and data projectors, and to organise highly educated people whilst remaining calm and maintaining a sense of humour. We are looking for someone to join our team who will contribute to maintaining and developing our customer focused ethos.
While this role is primarily based in Bolton, there will be some UK travel with overnight stays to support in-person courses. We offer time off in lieu or overtime paid for additional hours worked.

LOCATION

Job Purpose:
To support the delivery of WIPs housing programme in Manchester and Trafford, with a focus on women coming into contact with the police and women being released back into the community following a period on remand, providing trauma-informed specialist support to improve housing outcomes for women affected by the criminal justice system.

- To deliver an effective housing intervention for women impacted by the criminal justice system.
