Our Counsellors are a lifeline to people in need of talking treatment providing a safe clinical space for individuals to speak out about negative life events and take back control of their lives. We are now recruiting a qualified counsellor to offer life-changing, talking treatments to adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health and wellbeing needs in GP practices across the Rhondda to temporarily provide maternity cover. You will need to be confident in delivering person-centred counselling /psychotherapy to adults in the medium of their choice face to face, online and telephone contract.

Role Purpose

Oasis Community Hub Oldham team are now in a position to employ an experienced team leader to work alongside our Strategic Community Development Lead and the children’s, youth and community hub team in Oldham. This positive, adaptable and talented leader will help us strengthen, sustain and grow our wide range of programmes.
The role will encompass community and youth support activities, delivering quality, diverse and integrated services, as well as leading a small and passionate team. The role will be focussed on the Oldham East community (surrounding Oasis Academies Clarksfield and Leesbrook), working together as part of Oasis Hub Oldham.
Key responsibilities will be:

Role overview
The Project Support Officer will support our Programmes Team with activity related to project delivery while members of the team are on maternity leave. The postholder will be responsible for completing a variety of project delivery tasks that support the smooth running of our online mentoring. These tasks include administrative support through our online mentoring platform, data entry and data monitoring, training our volunteers to be mentors and inducting young people onto our programmes.

BACKGROUND
The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a pioneering Human Rights charity supporting refugees and asylum seekers who are the survivors of trafficking and torture, including gender-based and ‘honour-based’ violence. From our offices we provide specialist medical consultation, therapeutic care, legal protection and practical support to survivors of human rights violations by helping men, women and children heal the emotional and physical damage they have suffered through torture, trafficking or other forms of cruelty. We also take the learning from our work to develop partnerships to increase survivors’ access to services, and use the learning generated by our clients and partners to drive system change.
Since August 2020, Asylum Aid has been part of the Helen Bamber Foundation Group. Asylum Aid operates as an independent charity, led by its own Executive Director within the group structure. For over thirty years, Asylum Aid has been providing legal representation to some of the most vulnerable people seeking asylum. It has built an expert service, delivering vital and life-saving services in some of the most complex legal cases, with a particular speciality working with unaccompanied children, survivors of trafficking, torture or other forms of human cruelty, and stateless people. In this role you will support both charities alongside the Operations Manager.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As the facilities coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and well-functioning work environment in our building. You will be responsible for performing regular building safety and security checks, maintaining the office and ensuring the office is tidy each day you are present. There is the possibility that this role will be increased to full time in the future.
HBF currently has an office in Camden and will be relocating to Old Street in September-October 2024. And Asylum Aid has an office in Westminster which will be in use until at least the end of the year. In this role you will therefore be responsible for the conducting necessary tasks to facilitate the moves and the smooth transitions to the new office.
You will be managed by the Operations Manager and work closely with the Finance and Facilities Assistant as well as the Client Services Leads, Asylum Aid’s Legal Team Administrator, and the Executive Director of Asylum Aid to provide coordination and maintenance of the office facilities.

The Bone Cancer Research Trust strives to provide a supportive network for all primary bone cancer patients to limit their feelings of isolation and anxiety. Our aim is to increase the reach of the service further, ensuring that all patients diagnosed in the UK have the opportunity to access our Support & Information Service. They will assist in all aspects of the Bone Cancer Research Trust's Support & Information Service, including the organisation and delivery of virtual support groups, the administration of the Charity's financial grants, the distribution of information resources and the administration of our digital groups. About the role
Provide casework support to members of our community who need help with accessing housing, education, training and employment, benefits or asylum support, destitution and financial support, and support with accessing good immigration and asylum legal support. You will work closely with two other caseworkers, and a team of therapists. This role also includes supporting community activities during the week.

Key Responsibilities of this role
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing personalised support and group based activities to people accessing our Day Opportunities service in Wandsworth.
- To apply a collegiate approach to deliver strengths based support that maximises independence, knowledge and confidence of those using our services.
- To provide a key point of reference for information and support to those using the services and professionals and carers dependent on it.
- To work from one of our day centres based in Tooting or Southfields and to key work specified individuals and act as a primary contact for the families, carers and other key professionals

Purpose of the job/About the role
Join Dementia UK as a Governance Officer, where you will provide comprehensive, efficient, and high-quality administrative support for risk, compliance, and governance matters.
As part of the Governance, Compliance and Risk team, you will help ensure a robust governance framework is in place across the Charity. You will support the Head of Governance, Compliance, and Risk in maintaining effective governance processes, policy frameworks, and establishing high levels of corporate governance practices. You will also work under the direction of the Company Secretary on governance matters and administrative support.
Your responsibilities will include attending meetings, ensuring effective record-keeping, and taking accurate minutes when appropriate. This will also involve arranging meetings, collating papers, prioritising diaries, and managing associated tasks.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an administrative role, including the administration of formal meetings and minute-taking. You should have excellent written and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Strong organisational and work management skills, along with the ability to prioritise tasks, are essential.

We are the only organisation in Swindon and Wiltshire providing face-to-face support specifically for this community. Job Purpose
The Advice Centre at The Harbour Project is the heart of the charity. Seeing 30 to 40 people a day, our team of Advisors provide key help and support to Harbour Visitors (our beneficiaries), responding to a variety of questions and issues. For those seeking asylum, this includes: health-related matters, access to education, accessing asylum support, contacting immigration solicitors, Migrant Help, and the Home Office. For those with Refugee status, questions often revolve around: applying for mainstream benefits, accessing housing, and finding employment opportunities.
This is a new position, following restructuring of other roles within the team. The role gives an opportunity to assist some of the most vulnerable people in our society, providing important and necessary support to those who might otherwise be excluded.
