About the role:

As a Floating Support Worker, you’ll support people living across Westminster to sustain their tenancies, navigate challenges and build the confidence and skills needed to live independently. You’ll work alongside people facing homelessness, isolation, poor mental or physical health, domestic abuse, substance use and other forms of multiple disadvantage, providing practical and emotionally intelligent support that meets people where they are.

This is a role built on relationships. You’ll work closely with clients in their homes and communities, creating support plans that feel realistic, empowering and genuinely person-centred. Whether you’re helping someone manage rent arrears, reconnect with services, settle into a new home or take steps towards work, training or improved wellbeing, your support will help people move forward in meaningful and lasting ways.

You’ll be part of Westminster Floating Support, a fast-paced and supportive service funded by Westminster City Council, delivering housing-related support to people in all types of accommodation across the borough. Working as part of a collaborative and psychologically informed team, you’ll build strong partnerships with local services and agencies to make sure clients receive joined-up, holistic support.

As a Reconnection Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals temporarily placed in the South-East London sub-region reconnect with their local area and access the services they need to resettle successfully.

The Reconnection Team

Working alongside the Sub Regional Rough Sleeping Team as part of an evolving pilot scheme the Reconnection Team work with people who are rough sleeping or placed in temporary ‘off the street’ accommodation by Outreach Workers across six London boroughs. Providing information, advocacy and practical, person-centred support they empower clients to take the necessary steps toward resettlement, enabling them to reconnect with their local area and access the services they need to resettle successfully.

The Role

The role involves working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, ensuring the effective delivery of services tailored to each individual’s circumstances. Based at the 999 Club but travelling throughout Southeast London, you’ll work with a dynamic team dedicated to ending homelessness and making a tangible difference in people’s lives

This role is part of a pilot scheme being run by the Southeast London Sub-Regional Rough Sleeping Coordinator and provides the opportunity to work in different settings alongside teams from several other organisations from the third sector as well as voluntary and statutory services.

Wintercomfort works with people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or with a history of homelessness. We provide services to aid every stage of recovery -from immediate basic welfare needs to long term help in identifying and dealing with the problems which are undermining their stability, and enabling them to engage with education, employment and specialist health services.  National statistics rank the numbers of rough sleepers in Cambridge within the highest 20 UK local authorities. 

Wintercomfort is the only day-time service in the city, providing year-round advice and support for homeless or vulnerably housed people. Over the past three decades Wintercomfort has continued to grow and adapt to meet the needs of the homeless community. 

Our specialist Housing Team provides expert advice and support to help people successfully navigate the search for housing and crucially, support them to sustain life away from the street. 

About you and the Role 

As a member of Wintercomfort’s Project Worker Team, reporting to the Senior Tenancy Support Officer the Tenancy Support & Financial Wellbeing Project Worker is responsible for delivering Wintercomfort’s specialist range of 1:1 Pre and Post Tenancy Support, implementing proactive, holistic strategies designed to prevent people from losing their homes, whilst simultaneously providing them with the financial tools and capability needed to sustain stability, aimed at empowering Service Users to move out of the spiral of homelessness and back into mainstream society, preventing homelessness and foster financial inclusion.

Key Responsibilities 

• To provide emotional and practical support and assistance to prepare and assist Service Users to move into accommodation once a placement is confirmed, working with internal and external colleagues. To work in a flexible manner within Wintercomfort and the wider community to provide outreach and support services in person, occasionally in exceptional circumstances this could include in their own home when accompanied with external partners also includes via text, email, telephone and video calls.   
• To provide a wide range of resettlement-based support along with the Senior Tenancy Support Officer to ensure Service Users access the most suitable housing pathway for their individual needs. To take the lead on all housing related referrals for Service Users. To ensure all suitable Service Users are registered and supported on Homelink. 
• To provide crucial assistance to tenants, focusing on maintaining tenancies, managing money and debt and improving overall financial stability – including, signposting, budgeting, welfare benefits checks, rent arrears support, setting-up and managing utilities, housing related life skills, offering guidance and support to enable Service Users to maintain their own homes, aiming to prevent eviction and enhance quality of life. 
• To provide on-going long term tenancy support to Service Users moving into independent living, this includes private rental housing or alternative housing pathways without any on site support. To assist with hand over post tenancy support to accommodation providers at a suitable point in the Service User support pathway, with the aim of enabling long-term independence.
• To ensure all Service Users have access to external grants and any available funding to support their individual needs to maintain their accommodation. Signposting and assisting with applications for funding to assist people moving into accommodation are supported with the appropriate items: floor coverings, white goods, basic furniture and home furnishings. 
• To support residents to keep their current homes, including mediation with landlords, accessing legal support on evictions, addressing anti-social behaviour, identifying high risk groups targeting support towards vulnerable groups such as those fleeing difficulties, leaving prison, hospital or care systems. 
• To ensure that accurate records are kept, documenting the support services provided to Wintercomfort’s service users onto the Salesforce/Inform system. Ensuring that record keeping meets the requirements of internal and external monitoring of outcomes, assisting with reports and case studies to the fundraising team.

About the Role

We're looking for a Night Support Worker to join our night team in successfully rehabilitating and reintegrating our male residents and participants into the community. In this role, you will provide pathways, support, and appropriate interventions to enable successful resettlement. You will also collaborate with internal and external partners and agencies to achieve desired outcomes.

Our Complex Needs Accommodation provides supported accommodation, bespoke person-centred care and support as well as intensive housing management services in the community for adults with specific accommodation and well-being support needs. You will ensure the smooth running of the night service by conducting welfare checks, supporting residents, and handling any issues that arise. The role includes completing administrative tasks and providing thorough handovers with day staff and managers to maintain consistent service.

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to work with staff and volunteers at our established Christian recovery charity in Berkshire. Salary: £42,205 per year

Location: Southwest, covering Exeter, Somerset and Dorset

Additional information:

• Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle – business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work.
• Patriciate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
• Travel across the Southwest region with projects across Exeter, Somerset and Dorset.

About the Role:

As a Regional Manager at Julian House, you’ll play a vital leadership role in tackling homelessness and changing lives for the better. You’ll lead and support a portfolio of frontline services, empowering Service Managers and teams to deliver compassionate, high‑quality support that enables people to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.

As part of our Senior Operational Team, you’ll help shape strategy, drive continuous improvement, and embed our values across everything we do. You’ll bring thoughtful leadership, resilience, and creativity — championing innovation while ensuring services remain safe, effective, and person‑centred.

You’ll have oversight of Outreach and Supported Housing services across Exeter, Weymouth, and parts of Somerset, supporting teams who work every day with people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. Through your leadership, you’ll strengthen services, nurture talent, and help create sustainable pathways out of homelessness for individuals and communities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and inspire Service Managers, providing oversight across multiple projects and driving continuous improvement to ensure services thrive within Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE).
• Oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of outreach, support, and accommodation services, fostering a culture of accountability, quality, and excellence.
• Drive performance and impact through robust KPI reporting, using accurate data and high‑quality analysis to identify gaps, implement action plans, and support service improvement.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships, working collaboratively with internal teams and key external stakeholders, including local authorities, probation services, and commissioners.
• Participate in the senior management on‑call rota, providing leadership oversight and back‑up support to local on‑call teams when required.

What we’re looking for:

• Full driving licence and access to own car for work purposes.
• Previous experience of managing services and teams across different locations.
• Knowledge and understanding of the support needs of people facing homelessness, including those with mental health challenges, complex needs and substance misuse issues.
