The Development Officer, Operations will play a key role in supporting this transformation. The Development Officer, Operations supports our fundraising goals in these key areas:

This operational support underpins the success of the Development department and plays a crucial role in the growth and effectiveness of an ambitious fundraising team.

You’ll also contribute to the delivery of Audience and Appeal fundraising strategies, supporting initiatives that engage our audiences and inspire giving.

What is the role?

As the Schools & Community Fundraiser, you will be working as part of the Fundraising Team to meet organisational income targets. You will have responsibility for the co-ordination, organisation, and evaluation of existing schools fundraising events within agreed levels of income & expenditure.

You will be expected to foster and grow our links with educational establishments, the wider community across Lanarkshire and 3rd party supporters. This will involve working with all Lanarkshire Nurseries, Primary & Secondary schools, to raise awareness of the Hospice, fundraising and our role in the community. You will be required to maximise and grow the income generated from all fundraising activities related to schools and community fundraising.

In addition to your own workload, you will support the work of the fundraising department with other fundraising initiatives as directed..

· Experience working within a fundraising/sales role

· Proven experience of working to income related targets.

· Experience of liaising with young people in a formal or informal setting.

· As an important part of the Hospice team, you will also deliver Hospice educational presentations to schools & community groups that will range from three or four individuals to classes, full school assemblies or School awards nights, across all age groups

· A proven track record of success when working individually and as part of a team.

· Flexibility as occasional evening and weekend work will be required

About the role

The Administration and Facilities Assistant role at Crisis Skylight Croydon is varied and fulfilling. As the Administration and Facilities Assistant, you will assist with the day-to-day administrative tasks, health and safety and facilities management of a busy Skylight centre ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office and member areas. You will assist with purchasing, stock control and deliveries as well as liaising with contractors. You will use internal systems to record client information. You will also help promote the Skylight internally and externally by collaborating with others and producing impactful designs.

About you

• In this role you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and be competent using Microsoft applications including Excel.
• You will have experience of supporting a team in an administrative role with proven organisational skills.

About the role:

This role is expected to provide remote evidence site administrative support at Caerleon police station as required alongside supporting the local service delivery team. Head of Financial Planning & Analysis required for a leading specialist children's health charity on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The Finance team is undergoing an exciting period of transformation, including the implementation of a new finance system. This is a key role where you will lead the post-implementation phase of the new system and continue delivering high-quality financial performance reporting, forecasting, and business insights.

Detailed duties include;

• Drive financial planning and analysis processes: Oversee the preparation of the charity's budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring timely and accurate reports for senior leadership and governance committees
• Lead the implementation of improvements: Manage the post-implementation phase of the new finance system and use it to enhance financial reporting, forecasting, and planning

The Organisation

I'm recruiting on behalf of a small, globally connected Christian organisation based in London, with an annual income of approximately £2 million. This is a faith-based environment and the role suits someone who is comfortable working in a setting where Christian values shape the culture and daily rhythm of the organisation.

The Job

This is a hands-on Director of Finance role, responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations of the organisation and two related charities. You'll manage a small team (currently one full-time and one part-time staff member) and report directly to the Chief Exec equivalent.

Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering and providing oversight, control and direction to a team of up to 4 Finance Business Partners, this role is key in ensuring the financial targets and value for money are met.

Main Duties:

• Manage, and develop the Finance Business Partner team to embed and drive a cost control and productivity focused culture across the directorate
• Lead the business case development process - reviewing and challenging funding requests to ensure they represent value for money
• Support business performance management, enabling senior executives to effectively manage their budgets
• Manage a diverse range of stakeholder groups with competing priorities and deliver tactical productivity initiatives across business areas
• Interpret and provide insightful analysis from management reports to enable effective decision-making processes across the senior management team

You will be taking up a permanent role as Centre Leader at one of our IntoUniversity centres in Nottingham. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting  IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery.

A substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support.

About the opportunity:

Working closely with the Fundraising Manager and Head of Philanthropy you will support a range of fundraising activities, most predominantly through organising and coordinating fundraising events, such as half-marathons; lead annual fundraising campaigns; in addition to increasing individual giving to the charity through awareness raising and stewardship of regular and one-off donors. Duties and responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination and administration of annual sponsored fundraising events Action Tutoring engages with, such as the Hackney Half marathon and London 10K, including the promotion of events, onboarding of runners, campaign page creation, encouraging participants to raise funds, organising materials to be sent to runners (e.g. t-shirts) and tracking of fundraising targets.

St. John's is a non-maintained specialist provision, working with autistic people, the majority of whom also have learning disabilities. Croydon BME Forum, in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, is tackling ethnic inequalities in health and social care through this “Can You C Me Project”. The Macmillan Team offers personalised support, information, and referrals for individuals affected by cancer, including families and carers, across six South West London boroughs: Croydon, Merton, Kingston, Wandsworth, and Richmond. Working within a team of three, you will be responsible for two boroughs, Croydon and Merton while supporting colleagues as needed.

As a Project Coordinator for the Can You C Me project, you will play a key role in engaging BME communities to enhance cancer awareness and support. Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will lead outreach initiatives, community engagement, and the organisation of project activities across Southwest London. Each coordinator is assigned a specific set of boroughs, collaborating closely with community organisations, faith groups, healthcare providers, and individuals affected by cancer.

Key Responsibilities

· Engage and build relationships with local communities, faith groups, and voluntary organisations to raise cancer awareness and improve support networks.

· Organise and deliver cancer awareness events, workshops, and outreach sessions tailored to community needs.
