Administration of our Business Support Network

• Research businesses that can help local authorities on their decarbonisation journey

Merchandise and Fulfilment Manager

The Merchandise and Fulfilment Manager role sits in the Brand team and works closely with the wider department, which includes brand, a creative studio, and production. The role supports the whole organisation to source and deliver merchandise, print materials and fulfilment services. This includes the selection and management of suppliers to achieve the best value for Alzheimer’s Research UK, whilst ensuring compliance with responsible sourcing practices. The role also requires an eye for branding and maintaining outstanding levels of consistency across our printed materials, working closely with the Creative team to achieve this. The Merchandise and Fulfilment Manager is also responsible for managing and developing the online shop.

The role has responsibility for significant budget management and relationship building, both internally and externally. The candidate will be a tenacious and driven individual who can bring a proactive and independent approach.

Key Responsibilities:

· Proactively manage and develop Alzheimer’s Research UK’s merchandise offering, ensuring it is relevant and cost efficient, and monitoring and reporting on stock levels.

· Manage and develop the Alzheimer’s Research UK online shop, monitoring sales and responding to customer queries, working with the Digital team to ensure strong day-to-day performance.

· Manage the production of printed materials including health information and events materials.

· Manage our merchandise, print and fulfilment suppliers, leading tenders, contracting, review meetings, and briefing new work.

· Create and manage the merchandise and fulfilment budget for the organisation, completing quarterly reforecasts.

· Develop excellent relationships across the organisation, supporting colleagues to plan their requirements for merchandise and printed materials.

· Play an active role in the Brand management team and the Strategic Marketing directorate, demonstrating the Alzheimer’s Research UK values and leadership attributes.

· Line Manage the Supporter Merchandise and Fulfilment Officer and support their development.

What we are looking for:

Ways of working:

As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

A growing £1million turnover charity dedicated to the health and wellbeing of children and adults through the healing power of music have newly created a Head of Finance and Operations role. How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

The person

You will have a passion for graphic design and thrive on identifying and maximising opportunities for the charity to look and feel its brilliant best. You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to manage multiple stakeholders and design briefs simultaneously.

Key accountabilities

• Developing a wide range of creative to help raise awareness of who we are and what we do, promote our services and support our fundraising efforts.
• Pitching creative concepts in response to briefs from teams across Whizz Kidz (including Services, Fundraising, Policy, Volunteering, Corporate and Trusts).
• Responding to design briefs, creating a wide range of design elements and assets – including digital campaign assets, website and social assets, branded merchandise and printed publications.
• Project managing design processes from conception through to completion, including taking into account feedback, liaising with print partners and the management of any centralised stock.
• Developing and maintaining productive relationships with our print partners, ensuring that all materials created are proofed and to the desired standard.
• Offering training and support to colleagues using our new branded templates when necessary.
• Looking after our brand guidelines and developing new guidelines where required.
• Responding to design enquiries promptly and providing information and materials to colleagues in a timely manner when requested.

Main duties & responsibilities

1. Oversee all client facing activities ensuring KPI’s are met, and staff, volunteers and clients are actively supported.

2. Recruit and line manage Client Services department inc. Paths to Success, Bridge the Gap and Safe Haven teams, and ensure staffing level meets funding requirements and client need.

3. Ensure all staff, volunteers and activity leaders have the appropriate DBS checks and training to safely support our clients.

An established national charity is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their Finance Business Partnering team at a pivotal time for the organisation. This is a newly shaped role designed to strengthen financial support for the charity’s fundraising and campaigning ambitions over the coming years.

The Role

You will play a central role in providing financial insight, analysis, and management across fundraising, communications, and advocacy activities. Acting as a strategic partner to senior leaders, you’ll ensure funds are used effectively to deliver long-term impact and growth.

You’ll help drive the organisation’s ambitious five-year plan to increase fundraising income and enhance its campaigning and influencing power – ensuring every pound raised contributes to a more inclusive future.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with directorate teams to develop robust budgets and forecasts, supporting effective financial planning.
• Provide insightful financial reporting and analysis to help teams interpret performance and make informed decisions.
• Lead on complex income forecasting (including legacies), applying scenario analysis and risk assessment.
• Deliver financial modelling to inform investment and fundraising strategies.
• Ensure accurate management of restricted funds and compliance with external funder requirements.

About You
