Settled's Ukraine Advice Service is at the forefront of providing expert immigration advice on Ukraine visa schemes and related matters. This post will bring much needed additional capacity to a small, very busy team. In this post you will use your expertise to respond promptly and compassionately to Ukrainian citizens pre- and post-arrival in the UK and their family members; providing free, high-quality, responsive information, advice and support services in relevant languages to secure their right to remain in the UK. You will also work effectively with volunteers, referral partners and Ukrainian communities throughout the UK.

About the role

CARE International UK is looking for a Programme Officer to provide administrative support within our Programme and Policy Department.

You’ll support the Women Lead in Emergencies (WLiE) team to deliver efficient and responsive technical services for the confederation by managing information and administrative systems for the team, including team travel, contracts and budget administration and logistical support for the WLiE Community of Practice. About Women in Prison

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation.  We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.  
 

Job Purpose:

Women in Prison’s Advocates deliver high-quality, trauma-informed, independent advocacy for women in communities and in prisons, which focuses on early intervention, and holistic provision as part of a ‘whole system’ multi-agency response that looks to address the root causes of women’s offending.

1. Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive advocacy and support to a caseload of women in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with the criminal justice system.

You will need to have strong administration skills and experience of using a database and the Microsoft office suite and be able to pull reports on all areas of the enquiries and admission process. 

A sales and marketing background would be an advantage for this role and understanding and respect for the Jewish faith and customs is essential.

About Women in Prison

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.

Job Purpose:

The Family Advocate will provide trauma-informed specialist support to women in the community and in prison who are at risk of losing custody of their children/have already experienced child removal. This role will also upskill colleagues, and work with Children’s Social Care teams to improve the response to women impacted by the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibility Areas 

1.      Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive support to women in contact with the criminal justice system, who are at risk of experiencing/have experienced child removal. 

2.      Provide expert advice and support to colleagues, including upskilling through information and training sessions on Children’s Social Care and family court processes, and increase Children's Social Care teams' knowledge and understanding on women in the criminal justice system.   

3.      Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders, such as Children’s Social Care, probation, prison, to ensure a collaborative approach to women’s needs. 

4.      Monitor case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording, aligning with contract KPIs and WIP policies.

About the role:

This role is based at our London office in Old Street (EC2A 4BQ)

As a Service Delivery Assistant you will:

• Provide high quality administrative support to the team and service.
• Update and maintain manual and computerised database and case management systems and records in accordance with the service's internal policies/procedures and organisational standards.
• Manage general queries into the service.
• Collate and supply information and correspondence to internal and external contacts in accordance with required deadlines.
• Liaise with referring agencies to improve referral information and the general referral process for victims. May include following up to secure information included in incoming referrals.
• Provide general office administration support which could include photocopying, filing, data entry, ordering of office supplies, processing invoices, raising purchase orders and minute taking at meetings.
• Help to coordinate external communication, management of local social media accounts and preparation of materials to help promote the service.

Oasis Community Hub Hadley encompasses a variety of integrated and diverse community projects which together have a common aim to bring transformation to the whole person and the whole community. 

Oasis Community Hub Hadley is looking to recruit a Sessional Youth Worker to join the Oasis Youth & Community Team.

Our team offer a wide variety of Youth Work activities that promote the development of young people, including open access youth club sessions, holiday clubs, mentoring, sports activities as well as targeted support. Training will be given. 

Key responsibilities will include:

- Working as part of a team be responsible for supporting on activities for young people within a number of sites in which we operate, including Oasis Academy Enfield, Oasis Academy Hadley, Ponders End Youth Centre and Bell Lane Youth Centre as arranged. 

- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all young people accessing our projects.

- Leading on activities that support the holistic development of young people.

The role

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Systems Administrator.

As the IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for the development, administration and optimisation of Cruse’s Microsoft 365 environment and wider IT cloud infrastructure.

Working closely with the Head of IT, and the wider Digital Services team of 5 staff, you will ensure our systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with the needs of our staff and volunteers.

Cruse operates a cloud IT infrastructure providing IT services to staff and volunteers based across the UK and Northern Ireland. Microsoft 365 is the main IT service, but there will also be other IT systems you will need to become familiar with in this role.

Cruse makes use of a managed services IT support provider and numerous application and service provider support teams; you will be required to work with these teams making sure our issues are resolved quickly and with minimum disruption.

As part of your role, you will be involved in BAU and project work and be comfortable with competing priorities and pressures.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to advance their technical skills and experience. Where they will have input into the development of the IT systems, working with an experienced and dedicated Head of IT and digital team, for a charity that is investing in its digital strategy and services.
