Help shape the future of compassionate care
At Trinity Hospice, we believe everyone deserves outstanding end-of-life care. For more than 40 years, we’ve been at the heart of the Fylde coast, supporting patients and their families across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. Our care reaches far beyond our hospice walls, into homes, hospitals and the wider community, ensuring people receive the support they need, wherever they are.
We are now looking for an exceptional Individual Giving Manager to join our Fundraising and Communications Team to play a vital role in sustaining and growing this care. This is a rare opportunity to shape and lead an ambitious individual giving programme, helping to secure the income that allows our services to reach thousands of people every year.
In this role, you will take ownership of developing and delivering strategies across individual giving, appeals, regular giving, in-memory fundraising, lottery and legacy marketing. You will lead a dedicated team of four, creating and delivering engaging campaigns that inspire people to support Trinity Hospice, while using data and insight to continually refine and strengthen supporter journeys. Your work will focus not only on generating income, but on building meaningful, long-term relationships with our supporters and ensuring they feel valued and connected to our mission.
We are looking for a motivated and creative individual with a strong background in individual giving or a related fundraising discipline. You will be a confident communicator, able to craft compelling messages that inspire action, and comfortable working with data to inform decision-making. You will also bring experience of managing or supporting others, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team in a collaborative environment. A proactive mindset, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities will be key to success in this role.
Joining Trinity Hospice means becoming part of a supportive, collaborative team where your work has real impact. We are committed to helping our people develop and thrive, offering opportunities for learning and a range of wellbeing and staff benefits.
This is more than a fundraising role, it is an opportunity to make a genuine difference. Every pound raised helps us provide compassionate care to patients and their families at some of the most important times in their lives. As Individual Giving Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring we can continue to be there for everyone who needs us.
A supporter opens an email at a moment they’re looking to understand why Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer, and how together we can beat dementia through fundraising, research, and campaigning activities. They discover an email created using evidence and insight to inspire action and build trust.
We’re here for everyone affected by dementia. Whether someone is living with the condition, caring for a loved one, or trying to make sense of a diagnosis, we want them to feel supported, informed and understood.
We are a mix of advisors, supporters, fundraisers, researchers, communicators and technical specialists. Some of us are volunteers, some are employees, but we’re all working towards the same goal: making life better for people affected by dementia.
We’re also committed to building a team where everyone feels welcome and able to be themselves. We know that different perspectives make us stronger, and we encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences.
As part of our Omnichannel Team, you’ll help shape how we connect with people through email and SMS by creating personalised, supporter focused communications and journeys. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, not just delivering great campaigns, but helping others feel confident and supported in doing the same.
It will take a Society to beat dementia. Join us.
What you’ll do
You’ll create and deliver email and SMS campaigns that clearly communicate that Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer and the solutions we offer, in a thoughtful and genuinely helpful way to the people receiving them. You’ll think about how messages feel as well as how they perform, making sure they are accessible and reach the right person at the right time and through the right channel.
You’ll work alongside colleagues from different teams to plan and improve their campaigns, offering feedback in a way that builds confidence and supports learning. You’ll also develop and manage content calendars, helping to make sure our communications are joined up, relevant and aligned with what matters most to our supporters.
Part of your role will involve building and improving automated journeys and integrations, helping to create smoother, more personalised experiences. You’ll spend time looking at performance data, running tests and using what you learn to keep improving how we communicate.
You’ll also be a go-to person for our email and SMS platforms, sharing your knowledge, answering questions and helping others develop their skills.

If this role sparks your curiosity and you feel inspired to make an impact, we would be thrilled to hear from you.

It’ll take a Society to beat Dementia. If you want to use your skills in a way that has real impact, and be part of a team that values ambition, kindness, collaboration and inclusion, we’d love to hear from you.
