Your role
This is a very special role to provide holistic health and wellbeing of those who visit our open drop-in at the Vineyard Community Centre in Richmond. To us, they are our guests, not 'clients', 'patients' or users'.
This will include personal health screening, and holistic health support; also to provide health education, and liaison with outside agencies and local surgery. Many of our guests have multiple and complex needs involving, mental health, drug/alcohol dependency and homelessness.
You’ll report to our Community Nursing Manager and work with our Case Worker and Caseworkers from the Glass Door charity, and external hosted partner organisations like SPEAR and C.A.B.

The project is delivered through funding from Islington Local Authority and will will include advice and casework for residents of two Asylum Support hotels in the borough. The project was initially funded to respond to an urgent need for specialist legal advice to assist with asylum questionnaires and has since expanded to support with a range of different advice issues including reinstatement of asylum claims, Asylum Support challenges and appeals work.
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the issues faced by migrants at risk and refugees/asylum seekers. They will have a good understanding of the challenges faced by those navigating the UK asylum system. They will have experience and a commitment to supporting migrants at risk in need of immigration advice. They will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders.

We are looking for a Support Worker to work as part of a service that provides late-night and early-morning outreach for women who are sex working and supports women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

About the role
The Post Holder will work within Spires’ Women’s Service. This service is comprised of:
A dedicated nighttime outreach service to support women who are involved in street-based sex working. This includes follow up work, casework, and multi-agency working.
Centre-based support for women with complex needs who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This also includes casework and supporting Spires’ Housing and Homelessness team.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Supporting a caseload of clients
· Completing one nighttime outreach shift a week (this is carried out in the Spires car)
· Supporting in the running of Spires’ women’s drop in services
· Supporting Spires’ Housing and Homelessness service where required
· Representing Spires to external stakeholders at multi-agency meetings
· Ensuring detailed and accurate records are kept of all client work.
About you
You will have previous experience of working with people exhibiting complex needs and people experiencing homelessness. Ideally you will have experiencing supporting women with some of the following support needs: substance addiction, mental health needs, domestic violence, no recourse to public funds and sex working.
You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:
· Experience of challenging appropriately and maintaining clear and appropriate boundaries.
· Networking and effectively liaising with specialist service providers or agencies in order to establish and/or improve access to services for clients.
· Sound understanding of the issues faced by women and other individuals involved in sex work.
· Understanding of the legislation around supporting the victims of Domestic Violence.
· Understanding of the effects of trauma on people and how to work in a trauma informed way.
· Good understanding of safeguarding practices in outreach work, social care and/or day centre environment.
· Good understanding of confidentiality and working with sensitive information.

In recent years violent crime has risen significantly. Homicides, assaults, robberies and offences involving weapons have all seen sustained growth. We have also seen large increases in violent crime involving children and young people. This is a tragedy. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them.
The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment and a mission that matters. We exist to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by funding great initiatives, finding what works and working for change – scaling up and spreading the practices that make a difference.
This role and why it’s important
It's critical to our mission that we understand how and why young people become involved in violence. The YEF’s work combines conducting rigorous evaluations and research studies with hearing directly from young people. It is also important to us that young people are central to the messages we share externally.
Your role involves ensuring that young people’s perspectives are heard and integrated into our work. This includes supporting our Youth Advisory Board (YAB) and helping young people’s voices play a central part in YEFs external communications.
This role also supports the wider team managing grants, contracts and providing general team support.

Key responsibilities:
1. Youth Advisory Board support:

Plan engaging activities for YAB meetings and events. These activities require working some evenings and occasional weekends.

Provide support and pastoral care to YAB members, including personal development planning and safeguarding.

Help recruit YAB members (young people aged 16 –25) through interviews and managing recruitment.

The team works pan London to deliver a unique, youth-specific outreach service to young people currently or at risk of rough sleeping. We use our extensive housing expertise to place those young people into accommodation that is appropriate and safe whilst encouraging them to access the day centre to benefit from the wide range of services we offer. The Outreach Worker will work as part of Rough Sleeping Team to deliver at least two street outreach shifts per week and transitional casework to young people facing rough sleeping. ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Children and Family Worker to join the team in our West London Women's refuge. The service is a refuge accommodation for women and children surviving domestic abuse many of whom are living with trauma. we are looking for someone who really cares about the rights of women and their children.
As a Children and Family worker, you will support in providing a much needed safe and nurturing environment for children and their mother's, providing pathways, support and appropriate interventions to enable resettlement. You will support various teams to co-produce a tailored support plan which is altered to the individual's needs through a recovery model providing trauma informed and enabling environments to achieve this.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, working on a rota which is over 7 days including evenings. You will be based on site within the service.

Children and Family Relationships
- Provide parenting advice to support mothers and their families.
- Provide stimulating play opportunities to encourage children from all backgrounds to develop and express themselves, as well as support the children with their general learning, homework, and literacy.
- Support with early learning development, supporting mothers through advice and activity packs which aid their children’s learning and development.

Additional Responsibilities
- Attend appointments as and when required in support of residents.
- Undertake shift lead responsibilities on rotation, taking responsibility for ensuring day-to-day support delivery is effective, with staff carrying out their designated responsibilities, alongside ensuring resident and service-specific follow up actions are completed.
- Housing Management responsibilities, ensure residents and staff are safe, and the surroundings are kept clean and well maintained.
Other responsibilities than those described above may be required to be undertaken from time to time and will be expected to be performed to as long as it is within the capability and level of the position.
KEY CRITERIA
What we are looking for:
- Understanding and/or experience of working with people of complex backgrounds
- Previous experience and/or in-depth knowledge about working with children who have experienced trauma
- IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, basic Microsoft experience
- Understanding of the trauma children and families may go through due to domestic violence and other previous experiences
- Understanding of the social needs and support required for people with multiple and complex needs
- Understanding and/or practical knowledge of the social and societal marginalisation that can be attached to people with various challenging backgrounds, mental health, addiction, exploitation, homelessness, and previous convictions
What we would like, but not essential:
- Previous experience creating co-produced support plans, key working, and care planning, providing appropriate interventions for service users
- Previous experience providing housing support and practical assistance within a residential support role
- Appropriate Professional Qualification in: Social Care, Early years Education, Certificate in Childcare or other relevant
- Understanding and/or practical application of key legislation regarding social care, housing, criminal justice, and mental health
- Ability to Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis

We have a great opportunity for people interested in working as part of an innovate women’s only service in an Assessment and Reconnection Worker role and becoming part of this exciting team achieving positive outcomes to support the women in their recovery and move on journey.
In this role you will:
Deliver support to female clients with multiple support needs who have also experienced domestic violence and VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls).
You will be carrying out comprehensive client assessments; providing clients with personalised case management support to help them be connected into specialist external services, turning assessments into a practical action plan which fully involves the client.
Working within a small staff team, you will work closely with the Case Coordinator to case work the clients, assessing new referrals, welcoming them into the service, and planning their moves on from the service to more appropriate accommodation.
You will work a rota that will involve some evening and weekend work. This role will pay unsocial hours.
About you
You will have experience of working with vulnerable people and an understanding of the needs of homeless women. Strong communication, influencing and reasoning skills are also key, as is a flair for solving problems. About the role:
The role of Triage and Early Interventions Officer (TEIO) is a fast paced one which requires the post holder to answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to victims of crime and those accessing the service in Cumbria.
As a TEIO, you will;
- answer incoming calls, speaking to those affected by crime & manage a caseload
- make outgoing calls, assess needs and risks and action plan with callers

About the Role
The resettlement Floating Support Worker will provide resettlement support to residents moving out of the Amari Project and from Pan London refuges. You will provide fortnightly case work to residents in their move on accommodation.
You will provide holistic support including tenancy sustainment support and advocacy support to establish and maintain partnership working .You will be responsible for providing data and any statistical information for monitoring returns and in collating
About You
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience of supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse, trafficking and sexual exploitation. You will be required to have an awareness of the impacts of trauma on survivors of domestic abuse.
You will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plans and support them in linking with other agencies.
You will have a working knowledge of the available legal remedies, housing, and welfare benefits, as well as experience of providing training.
Outside of this, you will have excellent administrative and time management skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload.
