Job description

Are you someone who enjoys working hard to support adults with learning disabilities? Would you enjoy working creatively as part of a team to facilitate an engaging learning environment where adults with learning disabilities are given opportunity, confidence, dignity and hope?

We are St Paul’s Centre and we’re a charity based in Crewe, Cheshire, and we’re looking for an experienced support worker to join our well-established Futures team, on a part-time basis working (6-15 hours each week) potentially on Mondays and Wednesdays, with opportunities for additional cover.

For over 20 years St Paul’s Centre has been committed to helping adults with learning disabilities to engage and be an integral part of a purposeful working environment that is fully safeguarded and well-staffed.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about, and has experience of, engaging and improving the lives of adults with learning disabilities to support them to carry out a range of vocational activities.

If you are caring, empathetic, a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, and can be adaptable and resilient then this could be an ideal opportunity for you.
