Summary
As Community Fundraising Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for people fundraising in their community for Diabetes UK. You will be responsible for managing your own supporters, ensuring they receive an excellent experience and raise as much as they can for the charity. About the Role
We are looking for a Day Service Co-ordinator to join our art studio team and support people living with brain injury in our day centre in Haggerston.
You will take responsibility for organising and delivering activities in the Submit to Love art studio, such as supporting members in creating new artworks, planning and delivering events and outings, and engaging members in a variety of other activities in response to their needs and interests.
The role also involves providing advocacy and support (key working) for up to 12 members and ensuring the smooth running of the day service as a member of the co-ordinating team.

Activities in the art studio:
- Support members to engage creatively and develop their personal artistic practise.
- Work alongside the studio manager, day service members and volunteers to plan and deliver events, including artist led workshops, exhibitions and open studios.

- Act as key worker for up to 16 members, checking in regularly about their engagement in the centre and their general wellbeing, and supporting them with information, advice, and advocacy as appropriate.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including comprehensive individual risk assessments.

The Peer Support Coordinator will play a critical role in the delivery of Day One's Peer Support Service. Bexley Food Alliance Project Coordinator
The Bexley Food Alliance is a new network which was funded by the GLA to work towards taking pressure off the emergency food aid services and providing increased financial support to Bexley residents. This network has now expanded and aims to build a collaborative network of agencies that can increase fairer access to healthy, nutritious and culturally appropriate food, as well as any additional support residents might need. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to take over the day-to-day running of this network (see below for a brief description). This is a good opportunity for anyone who wants to take on a part-time, one-year project, perhaps as a stepping stone into something more significant, or perhaps you’re returning to work or changing careers. Our core service is Circles of Support and Accountability; a ‘Circle’ is a small group of local volunteers who assist the safe integration of an individual who has sexually harmed, meeting with them over a year or more. Working closely with responsible statutory agencies we provide a complementary risk management approach, making communities safer. Informed by our practice expertise, our training and consultancy for professionals is designed to enhance skills, knowledge and understanding in order that they can more effectively engage with people who sexually harm and contribute more widely to the prevention of sexual abuse.
About You
With experience of working with adults convicted of sexual offences, you understand how local communities can support risk management and be committed to the safe integration in the community of people who have sexually harmed. You will be skilled in the management and support of volunteers, the critical success factor for Circles. You will assess referrals, coordinate Circles, review progress and share relevant information with police and probation.

Role Overview:
Our national programmes team is responsible for providing young people from across all our services with tailored support to help develop their independent living skills, and progress into education, employment, training or volunteering.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Programmes Coordinator. The appointed candidate will organise and deliver progression opportunities for young people supporting them to realise their ambitions into education, training, employment and volunteering (ETEV).
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise, promote and deliver sessions and programmes to support young people into education, training, volunteering or employment outcomes.
- Promote and support the awarding of education, training, employment and volunteering (ETEV) grants to young people to support their progression.
- Develop and deliver partnerships with organisations who can support Depaul clients in their progression into education, training, employment and volunteering.
- Coordinate client engagement activities in your region to meaningfully engage clients.
- Participate in internal/external meetings as required, and attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary.
- Ensure you are kept up to date and abreast of the latest information/ research around ETEV and client involvement tools and methods
Please note that this job opportunity is offered as a full-time (37.5 hours a week), permanent role.

What We Are Looking For – Person Specification:
- Experience in delivering engagement programmes

- Understanding and knowledge of the issues faced by people at risk of, and experiencing homelessness

- You’ll manage the delivery of our creative programmes at various locations looking to ensure they are delivered to the highest standard

- You will line manage the Creative Expression Tutors supporting them in developing project objectives, conducting one-to-one and appraisal meetings and reviewing and agree project resourcing
