A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part time (22.5 hours per week) Business Administrator for a fixed term of 6 months within the RAF Personal Support and Social Work Service (RAF PS & SWS).
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and flexible individual for the role of Business Administrator. Your role will be to develop and maintain efficient and effective administrative systems that support and promote the delivery of the service to the RAF Community within the UK. As a Business Administrator, you will support the Business Support and Development Manager to develop administrative systems and processes in line with service modernisation and integration.
About the Team
You will be a member of the Business Support Team with responsibility for managing and co-ordinating a range of administrative duties to support the service, including the dissemination and collation of key information, supporting quality assurance activities, and providing administrative support for meetings and training events

To carry out this role successfully you will be Proficient in MS Office applications, including but not limited to, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and OneDrive. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Male Advocate working in our Male safe- houses based in Bolton. In this role you will be supporting Survivors of Modern day Slavery. In this role you’ll casework service users living within our Safe-house. This role includes providing service users with emotional and practical support; advocating on their behalf, communicating with other organisations including but not limited to health professionals, legal representation and the Home office. There is an occupational requirement for the applicant to be male.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Case working service users identified as PVOHT (Potential Victims of Human Trafficking).
- Arranging and attending appointments for service users
- Regular feedback and review meetings with Accommodation Coordinator.
- Following up all the paperwork and details of VOHT in adherence to the terms of the contract; including on line reporting. Including but not limited to; weekly reviews, risk assessments, support plans and inductions.
- Ensuring that volunteers who work with you on shift have the proper level of support and adhere to policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Ensuring progression of service users through the system;
- Ensuring exit strategies are being prepared in a timely fashion.
- Liaising with organizations and individuals regarding VOHT and Causeway in a professional manner - including but not limited to SATco, UK Visas and Immigration, Modern Slavery Human Trafficking Unit, other agencies, police, and medical professionals.
- Identifying support hours and ensuring accurate logging of all hours.
- Ensuring paperwork is being completed correctly and in a timely fashion.
- Dealing with out of hour crisis in accordance with standby rota.
- Receiving out of hours’ referrals, carrying out inductions, weekly reviews and updating the IT system.
- Ensuring adherence to all internal procedures regarding Causeway, the Safe Houses and any legislation.
- Some basic household tasks including but not limited to preparing bedrooms for the arrival of new service users
- Promoting Causeway in adherence to the terms of the contract – this may include attending events on behalf of Causeway as a whole.

As part of the Church of England’s Growing Faith initiative, Flourish aims to see a network of 450 new worshipping communities established in educational settings across England, beginning with a pilot scheme involving 40 locations in 12 dioceses. There will be 4 pilot projects within the Diocese of Chester.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working with children and young people, together with an appreciation of the missional task facing the church, particularly in regard to engaging missionally with a more diverse demographic.
