Coempowered is a small but rapidly developing non-profit working to empower indiviuals and help build community capacity among for young people, women, and marginalised communities in the UK and internationally through workshops, classes, semiar, projects and research. About the Opportunity

Key Deliverables

• Research suitable grant opportunities and funding sources.

• Assist in preparing core organisational documents, including:

  • Activity reports

  • Business plans

  • Project proposals and bids

• Write compelling grant applications tailored to funders’ criteria.

• Prepare outreach materials, donor communications, and mailshots.

• Use direct mailing and other methods to engage potential and existing donors.

• Support the recruitment, coordination, and management of volunteers involved in fundraising activities.

• Ensure smooth execution of all tasks related to fundraising, documentation, and relationship-building.

Airplay is part of the RAF Benevolent fund and run by One YMCA. We provide youth clubs for children aged eight to eighteen which includes Ben Clubs for children aged 5 to 7 too. We provide a range of social activities in state-of-the-art facilities with sessions run by our friendly youth workers.

MAIN TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· To support the provision of the Airplay and Ben Club activities and workshops

· Working with children and young people to track their progress

· Data entry/light admin work may be required

Victory Afghanistan is seeking a seasoned fundraising professional to join us as a Volunteer Fundraising Advisor. Our fundraising needs are broad and urgent: laptops, data packages, counselling sessions, and sponsorships for students who plan to study abroad. We already have project coordinators and fundraising project managers handling the day-to-day work, the outreach, the drafting, the applications, the paperwork. 

What we need is someone with experience who can meet with us once a week, look over the grant applications we are preparing, review the fundraising approaches we are taking, and advise us from the perspective of someone who has done this before. About The Club

Support United (Support Utd) is a fun, social football club that meets weekly in Reading. The club is designed to give people within the LGBTQIA+ community the opportunity to play football in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment. Our focus is on enjoyment, learning, and building confidence — no matter your experience level. Sessions are open to adults aged 18+ and welcome players of all abilities.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Volunteer Assistant Football Coach to support the running of our weekly sessions. You’ll work alongside the lead coach to help deliver inclusive, enjoyable football sessions for a group of around 10–12 players (with potential to grow in future).

This role would be ideal for someone with an interest in coaching or sport, particularly those studying sports science, coaching, physical education, or a related subject. It would also be perfect for someone who is a part of, or a strong ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.

We are looking for a patient and chatty volunteer to visit a lovely lady in Woodley, Reading. She loves soft, cuddly toys and rainmakers, and is known to enjoy a nursey rhyme or two! She is non-verbal, but understands everything you say to her, so a friendly and understanding approach is key. She would love to have you stop by for a cup of tea and a chit chat, and perhaps over time venture out for walks and shopping in the local community.

We offer a lifelong befriending service for adults with learning disabilities. Matching the skills and interests of passionate visitors with the specific hobbies and interests of the people we visit. Visitors visit six times a year to create a 1-2-1 connection, offer companionship, encourage people to do the things they enjoy and check-in on their wellbeing. In many cases, the visitor is the only person in someone’s life who isn’t paid to be there for them.

This is a Stop and Stay visit role, meaning that the person you’ll be visiting might have some verbal communication skills or they use sounds and/or facial/body expressions to communicate with you. The person you visit might choose to take part in simple activities or watch you doing the activities. Your volunteer manager will be happy to help you with ideas and suggestions for things you can do. Visits will vary in length but tend to be around half an hour to an hour long.

In this role you will spend quality time with the person you visit and could do a range of different activities like:

• Checking in on their well- being

As a Web and IT Support Volunteer, you’ll help us keep our website up to date, support digital record-keeping and assist with maintaining efficient systems that help us work effectively. You’ll play an important role in helping us stay connected, accessible and organised across our programmes.

This role is ideal for someone with an interest in IT, websites or digital operations who wants to make a practical contribution to community-focused work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Updating website pages with new events, news and programme information
• Supporting the layout and accessibility of website content
• Uploading photos, articles or updates to digital platforms
• Helping staff and volunteers use digital tools
• Assisting with digital forms, data collection and record management
• Providing basic troubleshooting support or referring technical issues to the appropriate person
• Helping test and improve the digital tools and systems used by the team

We're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales & Business Development Volunteer to help drive our growth and expand our reach. Key Responsibilities
As a Sales & Business Development Volunteer, you'll work closely with our team to identify new opportunities and build lasting partnerships. Your responsibilities will include:

• Researching and identifying potential clients, business leads, sponsors, partners, and business opportunities.
• Supporting the development of sales strategies and outreach campaigns.
• Helping to create compelling proposals and presentations.
• Conducting initial outreach to prospective clients via email, phone, and social media
• Help maintain the contact database with updated leads and follow-up notes.
• Analysing market trends and competitor activities.
• Contributing ideas to improve our sales processes and materials.
• Reach out to companies, NGOs, and institutions to introduce TESYouth’s initiatives.

About Emetophobia Action Charity

Emetophobia Action is a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by emetophobia (the fear of vomiting). We work to raise awareness, provide reliable information, and campaign for better understanding and treatment within healthcare and educational settings.

We are a small but passionate team of clinicians and volunteers striving to make a real difference to those living with this often misunderstood condition.

Role Purpose

As a Fundraiser, you will help us grow our income to expand our reach, awareness campaigns, and events including in person conferences. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your creativity and communication skills to make a lasting impact on people affected by emetophobia.

Key Responsibilities

 •  Develop and deliver creative fundraising ideas and campaigns (online or community-based).

 •  Research and apply for small grants, sponsorships, or community funding opportunities.

 •  Organise or assist with virtual and in-person fundraising events (e.g., sponsored challenges, charity auctions, awareness days, conferences).

 •  Build relationships with local businesses, donors, and supporters.

 •  Promote fundraising activities across social media and community networks.

 •  Work collaboratively with the charity team to track and report fundraising outcomes.

 •  Experience or interest in fundraising, marketing, or communications.
