Our small charity delivers awareness campaigns and a range of support services to patients, relatives, partners and carers who have been affected by a debilitating chronic condition; Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). We are urgently looking for 2 experienced email marketing volunteers to join our communications team.

You will be a big link to our charity's clients who are vulnerable and isolated, to them learning more about events, our latest articles, fundraising events as well as ensuring they are aware of the services that we offer that be of help to them. You will also be helping us to raise awareness of this devastating chronic condition.

Even though we are a small organisation we have big ideas and having regular contact through emails and newsletters will show consistency and know they can rely on us to be there for them.

We would like the volunteer to help with:

• Email content: Develop our communication & marketing content calendar, write compelling regular email content, including calls for donations & support, that is relevant and has clear a call-to-action and high click through rates;
• Email content (membership): Create a regular email newsletter for our membership scheme
• Create a number of automated email series - for donors, members, fundraisers and more
• Newsletter strategy: Help us plan and articulate how we can use emails and newsletters to strengthen our organisation, motivate our supporters and communicate with our sponsors;
• Design and implement campaigns and promotional activity

What are you looking for in a volunteer?

Stepping Stones Learning and Leisure is a small, friendly charity based in Southwark, providing inclusive activities for adults with learning disabilities. We believe everyone should have the chance to express themselves, connect with others, and take part in activities that bring joy, confidence, and new skills.

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Gardening Club Volunteer to support our bi weekly Monday sessions (11am-1pm), held at our allotment site in Peckham, throughout the spring and summer months.

About The Role

This role is ideal for someone who loves to get stuck in. You’ll support our gardening tutor in delivering accessible and fun gardening sessions for a small group of adults with learning disabilities. You’ll be an essential part of the team, welcoming clients and visitors to the hub. You’ll be providing information and key admin support that enables people to get the help they need with their housing. As well as gathering feedback from clients on their experience of our service.

Our Summer Camp
Wed 17th - Sun 21st June and/or Wed 1st - Sun 5th July

We are currently looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to join us on our action-packed residential Summer Camp. On the camp you will be supporting one of our members with a disability to have a holiday they won’t forget.

What you'll do

On the camp you and a fellow co-volunteers will support one of our members with a learning disability or autism for the 5 days. You’ll support and encourage them to take part in lots of exciting activities such as campfires, treasure trails, swimming, games nights, day trips to the seaside and much more. You’ll also help our members with their day-to-day routines and preparing our meals.

Not only is it five days full of fun and games for you and our members, but you will also play a vital part in supporting them to develop their social skills in a day-to-day environment and of course, to enjoy a fantastic holiday!

Requirements

What you need
You do not need experience. Full disability awareness training will be provided before you begin volunteering with us.
The only requirements we ask of you are enthusiasm, energy and to be open-minded.

How much time?
The Camp runs for five days, four nights. The dates are Wed 17th - Sun 21st June and/or Wed 1st - Sun 5th July.

The camp starts and finishes in Tottenham, North London.

We can offer you
We can reimburse your travel expenses for your training days. All meals, transportation and accommodation are provided during the camp.
We'll also provide excellent training before the camp, and lots of helpful support throughout.

Job Description

We are looking for a Volunteer Digital Marketing Director to help lead and coordinate our digital outreach and growth strategy.

You will help develop and manage the organisation’s digital marketing activities, ensuring campaigns, content and communication channels work together to raise awareness and engage supporters.

This role involves working closely with the Founder and Digital Marketing team to guide digital campaigns, support online engagement and help build systems that allow the organisation to grow.

The role focuses on strategy, coordination and improving the impact of digital campaigns and outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the organisation’s digital marketing strategy
• Support the planning and delivery of digital campaigns across platforms
• Work with content, design and campaign teams to align messaging and activities
• Help build digital pathways for volunteers, donors and supporters to engage with the organisation
• Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements
• Oversee tools such as email marketing platforms, social media channels and CRM systems
• Ensure digital activities follow data protection and GDPR guidelines
• Provide updates and insights to leadership on digital performance

What We’re Looking For

• Experience or strong interest in digital marketing strategy or campaign management
• Ability to coordinate multiple digital channels such as social media, email and websites
• Experience working with tools such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms or digital collaboration tools
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a remote volunteer team
• Interest in social impact, community engagement or nonprofit work
• Experience in nonprofit digital marketing or campaign strategy is helpful but not required

We are looking for a volunteer with fundraising experience to lead and shape Act4Africa's fundraising activity,

In this role you will work remotely with our small team of interns and volunteers, and in conjunction with the Ugandan fundraising and communications team.

Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, you will have the opportunity to

· Experience

• Experience coordinating volunteers and/or interns, ideally within a charity or community setting.
• Experience of digital fundraising and supporter engagement
• Experience using databases or CRM systems

Skills and abilities

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport with a wide range of people
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and exercise sound judgement.
• Confident in using IT systems (Office 365, MailChimp, Justgiving, CRM and online meeting tools).

Knowledge

• Understanding of best practice in volunteer management, including safeguarding and safer recruitment.
• Awareness of UK charity fundraising standards and regulations (e.g. Code of Fundraising Practice).
