We're looking for two Events & Marketing Assistants to join our small, busy team at Portsmouth Cathedral. It's a varied, practical role that sits right at the heart of our commercial operations - coordinating venue hire bookings, setting up for evening concerts, supporting licensed events, and everything in between. Alongside this supporting the marketing for our events and the wider organisation as a whole.
No two weeks look quite the same, and roughly half the role takes place during evenings and weekends. The pattern of hours will vary week to week in line with the Cathedral's events programme. In weeks where no events are scheduled, the postholders will work standard office hours. There are two posts available with a proposal to work three days each of 21 hours.

About the role
The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of services, projects, events and member communications across the organisation. Working closely with the Head of Services and colleagues across teams, the postholder will provide high-quality administrative, project and operational support, helping to ensure services run efficiently and members receive excellent support and communication.

Role Responsibilities
Supporter Development team
• Support the Individual Giving Managers and Legacy Giving Manager with day-to-day communications with our donor base, including timely database administration to capture communication preferences and personal details.
• Support the Database team with data and financial processes, including recording and batching donations, generating reports, contributing to supporter journeys and reconciling income.
• Liaise with design and print suppliers to source quotes and deliver appeals and other campaigns.
• Support the Supporter Development team in-person in the office, with the processing of direct marketing appeal responses, including banking of donations and sending thank you letters.

The Roundhouse is a youth charity and independent multi-arts venue based in Camden, London. We've spent the past 20 years shaping the UK’s cultural landscape as a home for world-class music, boundary-breaking theatre, circus, poetry and immersive installations. The Role:
This role is a part-time permanent contract designed to provide admin and practical support around donor-facing events and comms. It has been created to support reaching ambitious targets in our 20th anniversary year and beyond, contributing to the P&P team's goals of driving £2 million in income growth across the business plan to 2028.
The role will enable our P&P team to focus on philanthropic relationship building, and support the administration of our impactful, high-quality cultivation and stewardship events calendar, as well as general supporter stewardship. The role will also work closely with our Finance and Data teams to keep organisational knowledge up to date, in line with best practice and the fundraising code, to ensure a smooth donor experience.
Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs.
About you:
This role would suit someone detail-oriented, with strong organisational and planning skills and excellent customer service. They will be able to communicate clearly across all levels of stakeholders, internally and externally, and thrive as part of a fast-paced team. They will have experience of using CRM databases (ideally Tessitura) and be confident handling data. This is a varied role, which will span various events and different groups of supporters.

The Role:
