More about the role .... you will:
- Lead and support a small fundraising team, looking for ways to maximise use of our resources.
- Seek, select and prioritise opportunities to raise funds and increase the Charity’s profile.
- Regularly monitor progress and inspire our team to reach their targets and goals.
- Take the lead on Trusts, Foundations and Individual Giving and oversee supporter communication and stewardship.

As an Engagement Centre Assistant, you’ll care for our supporters and guide them through their journey with Compassion. Purpose of role
Stories and impact sit at the heart of what we do at Horatio’s Garden.
This pivotal new role will help us maximise these pillars to support the ambitious fundraising and brand growth in our five-year plan to complete gardens at all NHS spinal injury centres so we can be there for everyone who needs us.
The Stories and Impact Assistant will be responsible for how we create and manage the best processes to amplify powerful stories of people with spinal injuries, their families and NHS staff across our fundraising and communications work.
The role will create a new stories and impact evidence hub that will support how our impact and data gathering evidence is best used for funders, supporters and other key stakeholders to understand what life is like after a spinal injury and the transformative effect of our gardens.
You will have some opportunity to travel to the charity’s gardens and meet people with spinal injuries, volunteers and staff.

This is a one-year fixed term role funded by the Rank Foundation, a philanthropic organisation which encourages and develops leadership and promotes enterprise and innovation. It is part of the Rank Foundation’s Time to Shine, a leadership programme which offers a 12-month role alongside training and development opportunities. The role includes mandatory training days held by the Rank Foundation that will require travel and possible overnight stays.

Main duties
- Liaise with organisational teams across fundraising and communications to best understand how stories, impact data and published evidence are needed and used across the organisation.

You will participate in an ambitious and inclusive permanent display and exhibitions programme, and will work closely with the Senior Curator, Senior Collections Manager and other colleagues deliver the strategy for care, access and engagement for the Collections. Purpose and scope of role
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic Pavilion Manager with the skills and experience to help drive forward our mission of ensuring that the Pavilion serves as a vital resource for local communities and groups and to actively encourage participation from members and volunteers who share our passion for making a difference. The Trustee Board provides governance and strategic leadership for the charity. The Pavilion Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of the building and plan and deliver an engaging programme of community events and activities, as well as seeking to develop new activities. The role includes operational management, future planning and ensuring a sustainable income and membership base.

Action on Disability (AoD), founded in 1979, is one of London’s leading Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs). Guided by the Social Model of Disability, we work to remove barriers and promote equality, inclusion and choice for all Disabled people.
AoD is a medium-sized charity with a Board of Trustees, 27 staff, and a strong pool of casual staff and volunteers. Many of whom have lived experience of disability. We are proud that 100% of our Board and 54% of our staff identify as Disabled.
We deliver four key services: Youth, Employment, Welfare Benefits, and Independent Living.
Purpose of the Role
The postholder will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred In-Work Support to Disabled employees and their employers. This includes maintaining accurate support plans, carrying out regular workplace visits and reviews, and ensuring support remains effective and tailored to individual needs. The role also involves supporting recruitment administration. The postholder will contribute to quality assurance by monitoring feedback, updating CRM systems, and supporting communication across the team. In addition, they will help organise staff and employer events, produce newsletters, and create engaging content to promote inclusive employment practices and celebrate the successes of the In-Work Support service.
Main Responsibilities
Service Delivery and Support Planning
- Update and maintain accurate support plans for In Work Support clients.
- Carry out regular workplace visits/support assessments and remote check-ins with employees to review progress and provide support.
Monitoring, Feedback, and Quality Assurance
- Chase, read, action, and securely store all feedback forms.
- Share relevant feedback and service updates with line manager in a timely manner.
- Ensure all CRM systems are updated with accurate and up-to-date records.
Recruitment Administration
- Support the recruitment process by being part of the interview panel, chasing references, scanning and storing key documents, and completing necessary online checks.
- Monitor and record completion of mandatory online training for new and existing staff.
Events and Communications
- Support the organisation and delivery of three annual staff events, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
- Create a fortnightly newsletter with updates, stories, and resources related to In-Work Support from feedback and visits.

About the Role
This is an exciting new post in a growing charity, working alongside the Fundraising and Communications Team to support the Youth Zone. The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for providing essential administrative support to the Head of Fundraising & Communications and wider fundraising team. The charity is founded on support from high value donors and you will support the team to engage this group of stakeholders.
As part of a fundraising and communications team of 5, you’ll report to the Head of Fundraising & Communications. You will support with writing grant applications and funder reports, and be accountable for day-to-day funder administration and correspondence. Some of the key duties for this role include thanking Patrons, supporting events and researching prospective donors and new opportunities for funding.
About You

What the job involves
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and it’s harming too many lives. At Prostate Cancer UK, one of our top priorities is funding research that leads to real change. It’s vital we do our best to make sure this research makes a meaningful difference to men’s lives, and that’s where you come in.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Research Officer to help us deliver our funding schemes and patient and public involvement work. This role sits in the Research Funding Team and will provide us with support across our grant funding schemes, ensuring we are following best practise in research funding.
You’ll take responsibility for a small portfolio of active research grants, providing support and guidance to the researchers leading them. You’ll be a main point of contact for grant applicants, supporting them as they apply to us and will be responsible for running peer review. Using your understanding of research funding and administration, you’ll help make sure our funding schemes run smoothly and to time. You’ll work with colleagues to support patient and public involvement in research both in our review process and through our Patient Representative Network who help researchers make sure their work is focussed on the needs of men with prostate cancer.
What we want from you
We’re looking for a Senior Research Officer who is passionate about research and has a desire to develop knowledge of prostate cancer. You’ll hold a biomedical degree (or a degree in a related science subject), or with equivalent experience gained in research funding, administration or the wider research sector.
You’ll already have a good grasp of how grant funding works with demonstrable experience of research administration and peer review. Confidence in interpreting complex scientific information is important, as you’ll be using this knowledge to find the right people to peer review the grant applications that are submitted to our schemes. You’ll have experience of supporting scientific meetings, preferably research funding committees, and understand the importance of capturing accurate minutes to provide constructive feedback to applicants.
You're also an accurate record keeper with a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills. You're assured and clear in your communication, both written and verbal, and you're able to respond to a wide range of inquiries from researchers while always adhering to data protection and confidentiality best practices. Experience of using Symplectic’s Grant Tracker or other grant management systems would be an advantage but is not essential.

Overall purpose
The Employment Advisor (EA) plays a key role in supporting refugees and people from refugee backgrounds to progress towards and secure sustainable employment. The EA provides tailored employment advice and guidance, helping clients build the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to navigate the UK job market. This role will work with clients at various stages of their employment journey, with a particular focus on those in the earlier stages of understanding career options, developing employability skills, and exploring education, training, and volunteering opportunities.
The EA will deliver one-to-one and group-based employability support, collaborate with employers and volunteers to source opportunities for clients, and maintain strong relationships with referral and support partners to ensure a holistic approach to employment support.
Key Responsibilities

1) Client Support
- Provide tailored one-to-one support to clients, helping them understand the UK labour market, define career goals, and develop employability skills. This could be in-person or online depending on client needs.
- Support clients with CV and cover letter writing, job applications, interview preparation, and job searching.
- Guide clients in identifying appropriate employment, education, training, and volunteering opportunities that align with their career aspirations.
- Deliver group sessions to help clients build knowledge and skills in a supportive peer-learning environment.
- Manage a caseload of clients with varying needs, adjusting frequency and intensity of support based on individual requirements.
2) Employer, Volunteer and Referral Partner Engagement
- Engage with employers to build networks and identify job, training, and work experience opportunities for clients.
- Attend job fairs and community events to connect clients with employers and recruitment opportunities.
- Support outreach initiatives by building and maintaining relationships with local referral partners, including Jobcentres, community organisations, and other support services.
- Liaise with volunteers to source additional expertise and mentoring opportunities for clients.
- Establish and maintain relationships with referral partners and support agencies to signpost clients to additional services, including welfare, housing, and mental health support.
3) Service Delivery and Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes in the CRM system.
- Implement and adhere to monitoring and evaluation processes to track client outcomes and inform service improvements.
- Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns, making appropriate referrals and ensuring clients receive the support they need.
- Support managers with additional projects, such as research, resource development, and service improvements.
