Main Responsibilities:

• To work closely with MHR, HR Team and consultants to ensure that tasks are scheduled and completed to meet project timelines.
• To co-ordinate work with HR and Payroll colleagues to ensure all relevant payroll processes are captured, reviewed, and, where necessary or appropriate, changed to ensure they are fit for purpose with the new system.
• To be responsible and manage the configuration of the new modules, working with HR and Payroll colleagues, MHR and other consultants to ensure that it is configured to Family Action’s requirements and that the rationale and effects of our chosen configuration is clearly documented.
• To work alongside the HR Systems and Operation Managers to ensure that the HR and Payroll teams are trained and supported in the effective use of the system as pertains to their roles.
• To be responsible and manage user testing of the new system and any parallel runs as part of the implementation process.
• To act as the Payroll System Administrator for iTrent, taking the lead on technical functionality and expertise and liaising with MHR as required for technical solutions.
• To support the Payroll team with other ad hoc duties, as may be required for running an effective and efficient payroll system.

• CIPP qualified or significant experience working in Payroll in a Payroll  Manager or payroll system development and implementation role
• Significant experience using and administrating itrent payroll systems, including liaison with system providers.

We are currently recruiting a Programme Manager to join our growing South & West campus teams, distributed across the Birmingham and Bristol areas. The Associate Programme Manager is responsible for the proactive and effective planning, execution, and administration of the Initial Teacher Education programme across our Birmingham and Bristol campuses, as well as supporting the management and delivery of our ECF and NPQ programmes in Birmingham and Bristol.

This is a hybrid working role with both work from home and on campus. This role would be linked to the NIoT’s Birmingham campus (Oasis Woodview, B15 2HU) and applicants should therefore live within a commutable distance of the Birmingham campus. As some of the team are based in our Bristol campus (The Greenway Centre, Southmead, BS10 5PY) candidates should also be able to work from the Bristol campus at least once every 2-3 weeks, to build relationships and work as a team. Our Programme Manager will also work remotely with programme managers in our other three regions across the country to ensure that our provision is of consistently high quality. The NIoT deliver our programmes directly on our two campuses as well as through our Associate Colleges in other parts of the South and West region. Role Requirements

• Provide high level administrative support to the Directors.
• Exercise judgement in prioritisation, dealing with matters within own remit and / or referring them to the director as and when necessary, ensuring tact, discretion and courtesy at all times.
• Review incoming mail, prioritising, redirecting or responding to issues.
• Monitor the email inbox of the Director(s), responding where relevant and highlighting any urgent messages to Director.
• Draft, edit and format documents
• Arrange travel bookings / itineraries
• Communicate instructions and other messages to managers and staff clearly and promptly on behalf of the Director(s)
• Keep Emergency Procedures File up to date.
• Monitor team PDR dates, and keep Director(s) updated in this regard; schedule PDRs for Director’s direct reports.
• Effectively support meetings in terms of venue, accommodation, equipment, and refreshments.
• Attend team and other relevant meetings taking and producing minutes for distribution (as required);
• Liaise with Reception in relation to external visitors and ensure the smooth running of internal and external meetings and visits;
• Process expenses on behalf of the Director(s).
• Manage the Director’s corporate credit card and reconcile against monthly statements
• Assist the Director(s) with additional administrative/organisational tasks assigned at the discretion of the Director.
• Assist in the planning, execution and tracking of key projects. Coordinate project timelines, deliverables and resources to ensure successful completion within deadlines.

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.

We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to lead the delivery and quality assurance of our national specialty training programme in Community Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (CSRH). As Training Programme Lead, you’ll play a central role in supporting CSRH trainees, upholding curriculum standards, and ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements of the General Medical Council (GMC). You’ll also guide doctors pursuing specialist registration through alternative routes, such as the GMC’s Portfolio Pathway, ensuring these processes are fair, transparent, and effective. Acting as the key liaison between trainees, educators, regulators, and other stakeholders across the UK, you’ll help shape the future workforce in this vital area of healthcare. The role:

Curriculum management

• Ensure the CSRH curriculum and assessment framework meets the regulatory standards set by the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Collaborate with clinicians, educators, regulators, and statutory boards to ensure the curriculum remains relevant, effective, and aligned with national standards, legislation, and service needs.
• Monitor and evaluate curriculum delivery across training sites by collecting feedback, audit results, and performance data; maintain accurate records of trainee outcomes and produce reports to support internal governance and external regulatory compliance.
• Support the use of digital platforms to track trainee progress against curriculum outcomes.

Trainee Support & Progression

• Act as a key point of contact for specialty trainees, providing guidance and administrative support throughout their training.
• Assist trainees in navigating digital platforms used for portfolio management and progression tracking.
• Develop and maintain clear, accessible guidance documents to support trainees in understanding training requirements and processes.
• Coordinate training events, inductions, and communications to keep trainees informed and engaged.

Stakeholder engagement

• Build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including the GMC, NHS England, statutory education boards, medical colleges and faculties, and training providers.
• Serve as the primary liaison for specialty trainees, Educational Supervisors and Training Programme Directors
• Work with suppliers and digital platform providers to maintain and improve user experience and functionality.
• Ensure open and constructive communication with all stakeholders to support programme delivery and regulatory compliance.

Portfolio Pathway

• Support doctors applying for specialist registration via the GMC’s Portfolio Pathway.
• Coordinate the review process for Portfolio Pathway applications, ensuring timely and accurate evaluation by relevant panels or evaluators.
• Provide clear, accessible guidance to applicants and maintain accurate records to support continuous improvement of the process and data to support workforce planning.

Committee and Governance Support

• Provide high-quality administrative support to internal committees, working groups, and panels involved in specialty training governance.
• Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions to ensure effective committee operations.
• Support the governance of the CSRH curriculum and assessment framework by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures and standard operating procedures related to the specialty training portfolio.

You will have experience:

• Experience coordinating or supporting training or education programmes, ideally in a regulated or healthcare-related environment.
