We are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated volunteer who has experience of administrative duties, ideally in management but not essential and who can commit to a few hours per week to help us manage our administrative tasks and duties to ensure the smooth running of Remix that will help change young people's lives.
Admin Manager Duties:

SOS!SEN is an independent UK charity dedicated to helping families secure the right educational support for children and young people with SEND. Our team of over 70 volunteers with firsthand experience provides legally-based advice and practical guidance to confidently navigate the SEND system. Join us as an Administrator Volunteer supporting our busy administration team to assist families and individuals navigating SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) challenges. This rewarding role enables you to make a meaningful difference by strengthening our community connections.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing Stripe payments and sending out webinar links; recording transactions on a monthly spreadsheet.

- Entering upcoming events on Volunteers SharePoint.
- Updating the PAP waiting list, emailing parents/carers to check their ongoing needs, and recording responses on Apricot.
- Emailing reminders and venue details to parents/carers registered for advice centres on Apricot.
- Chasing overdue invoices and adding notes to Xero.
- Recording monthly advice centre attendance.
- Processing registrations on Apricot and sending follow-up emails.
- Organising digital folders/files.
- Supporting other administrative tasks to ensure the charity runs smoothly.

We are looking to recruit an Administration Volunteer for the Lothian-wide Group. Our Administration Volunteers are the linchpin for our local groups’ activities. They act as the first point of contact and they make sure all relevant information is circulated to other volunteers and members. And they play an important role in keeping our data and details up to date to comply with data protection legislation.
In this role you’ll develop your administration and organisation skills. Most importantly you’ll be help your local group run efficiently, so they can keep providing valuable services to our MS community.

The Role As a Trustee, you will play a key role in the governance and oversight of the Army Central Fund. You will contribute to strategic decision-making, ensuring that our investment strategies align with our mission, values, and long-term objectives. About You We are looking for a Trustee for an initial term of three years. Experience of Defence in general, or the British Army in particular, is desirable. You will have a proven track record of advising on investment strategy, risk assessment and portfolio performance and will use this to help ensure the ACF’s long-term financial health. As a member of the ACF Board you will also be responsible for governance, oversight of financial strategy and decision-making around the allocation of grants. You will bring strong strategic thinking and the ability to provide clear, informed advice, as well as a commitment to the charity’s purpose and the ability to act as an ambassador for its mission.
Prior experience on boards, committees or as a Trustee is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals with diverse professional and personal backgrounds who can bring fresh perspectives to our Board.

A bit about this role:
As a charity we can help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations from our supporters. Raising funds is a key role in our charity, helping to raise the vital funds needed to help more cats and kittens in need.
As a fundraising volunteer, we will support you every step of the way to ensure your time at Cats Protection is a positive and rewarding one. Whatever time you can give really does make a big difference We have lots of exciting activities to choose from for example attending a fundraising event, fundraising online, promoting fundraising activities on social media, handling administrative tasks, or contributing to the development of new fundraising ideas. Whatever your skill set, this role could be perfect for you!
What can you expect to be doing?
As a flexible role, you have the choice to be involved in the following:
- face-to-face fundraising – organising or helping with fundraising events, attending supermarket collections and monitoring collection boxes.
- online fundraising – assisting with online appeals, increasing social media engagement to maximise funds raised.
- bringing new ideas! We always love to come up with new ideas to raise funds for cats and we’d love to help bring yours to life.
- engaging with your local branch and Fundraising Hub and feeling like an integral part of the team.

The Secretary provides administrative support to the operations of the ADH and advises the
Trustee and Executive Committee towards upholding UK Charity Commission guidelines. The
role ensures that ADH adheres to requirements of record keeping and data protection of
members. It provides the point of contact for Executive Committee team members and
Trustees to check and maintain UK policy relating to volunteer-led organisations, recruitment,
equality and safeguarding standards.
The role supports the Executive Committee Chair and Trustees in ensuring ADH team members
are treated fairly, with high standards of respect, dignity and inclusion, and in support of
upholding ADH charitable aims.
Key tasks:
● To maintain an accurate and high standard of records relating to ADH operations.
● To organize and minute a minimum of three Executive Committee meetings per year.
● To advise ADH Trustees on Charity Commission guidelines.
● To maintain and update ADH Charity Commission information.
● To work with the Treasurer to draft the Annual Report.
● To organize the AGM and communicate with members in relation to the AGM, reporting,
voting matters and policy changes.
● To support the Mentoring Coordinator in maintaining records and procedure and
covering for that role when required.
● To act as safeguarding point of contact for Sub-Committee teams and Executive
Committee members.
● To work alongside the Treasurer and Executive Committee Chair to ensure essential
ADH administration is undertaken in a timely manner.
● To offer an open and friendly point of contact across ADH Executive Committee and
Sub-Committee teams to support and facilitate operations.
