Job description

Volunteer Opportunity: Twinning Administration Volunteer

Location: SVP Brixton Office – St Vincent’s, Talma Road, SW2 1AS
Time Commitment: 1–2 days per week (flexible)
Duration: Approximately 3 months, with potential for extension

The St Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) is a Catholic charity dedicated to tackling poverty in all its forms. Our England & Wales community is proudly twinned with SVP groups in India, Grenada, Guyana, Romania, Sudan, and South Sudan; working together on person‑to‑person support and life‑changing community projects.

We are now looking for a Twinning Administration Volunteer to support a key project that will help our regular Twinning donors transition from cheque or bank‑transfer giving to simplified standing order arrangements.

This is a friendly and rewarding administrative role, and you don’t need financial experience to make a real difference!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Making telephone calls to donors in a warm, professional manner
  • Sending out the relevant forms and information
  • Keeping simple, accurate records using Excel
  • Helping improve the efficiency of our Overseas Aid & Twinning programme

What We’re Looking For

  • Confidence in making phone calls
  • Basic Excel skills
  • A friendly, helpful, and professional attitude

What You’ll Gain

  • The opportunity to support an international programme that changes lives
  • Valuable administrative experience
  • A welcoming, supportive environment
  • Travel expenses covered

If you’re organised, personable, and looking for a meaningful way to give your time, we’d love to hear from you.
