We're looking for a motivated and highly organised Events Administrative Manager to play a central role in the smooth organisation of Bi Pride 2026. This role will provide administrative support to the Events team and supervise the newly developed Events Administration sub-team.

Ideal time commitment: approx. 5-10 hours per month; flexible. This is likely to increase on the approach to an event.

Location: remote/ home based, in-person attendance at events is desirable.

Supported/ supervised by: the Head of Events, also working closely with the Events Trustee and volunteers in the Events team.

• Outreach work with other Prides, LGBTQ+ organisations and bi organisations – our consultation work with local Prides, the UK Pride Organisers Network and local and national LGBTQ+ organisations works in a tailored way to make sure that bi inclusion is a top priority and is being done well

• Organising a high-profile annual Bi Pride event – from September 2019, Bi Pride UK made history with the largest ever gathering of bi people recorded. A performance stage, a panel stage, stall village, street food, and over 1,300 attendees. After going virtual with the BiFi Festival for 2020 due to Covid-19 and running a virtual Pride event in 2021, we came back in person in 2022 with a hybrid event, and have been running the event in this format ever since

• Building a strong online and virtual community – just as important as the rest of our work is making sure that people hear about it! People need to know what resources and spaces exist for them, and how they can connect with other people like them

The role:

The Events team at Bi Pride UK is one of the core operational teams within the charity. The team handles programming, production and execution of our events, including our annual flagship Bi Pride event, which holds the record for the largest Bi Pride event in the world. This role will sit within the Events Administration sub-team, who are responsible for organising and performing administrative tasks to support the Events team to deliver smooth and highly successful events. 

We are looking for a motivated and highly organised Events Administrative Manager to play a central role in the smooth organisation of Bi Pride 2026. This role will provide administrative support to the Events team, most specifically assisting the Head of Events and Events Trustee with their administrative needs. The Events Administrative Manager will also supervise the Events Administration sub-team, helping to build up and shape this new emerging branch of the Events team. The holder of this role will join a supportive team, working with volunteers across the Events team and wider charity to contribute towards defining and improving the internal processes involved in producing Bi Pride 2026.

Key tasks of this role will include: 

• Working closely with the Head of Events and Events Trustee to ensure efficient organisation of the administrative activity relating to the Events team;

• Monitoring a shared Events team email inbox, including answering queries and escalating emails to the appropriate internal volunteer as required;

• Monitoring and maintaining a shared Events team planner, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate;

• Facilitating and tracking the completion of general event contributor contracts (such as consultants, catering, BSL interpreters, etc.), and maintaining accurate record keeping of the documentation;

• Receiving invoices from event contributors, maintaining accurate record keeping of these documents and sharing documentation with the Finance Team to process payments;

• Liaising with the Events team and event contributors to gather required information about the event/ contributors, and sharing this information with the Media & Comms Team in a timely manner for the production of Event related assets and promotional materials;

• Supervising a small team of year-round volunteers (dedicated to the administration of Bi Pride UK events);

• Attending regular Events Team meetings and venue visits, to contribute to the smooth planning and execution of the event.

Our team volunteers remotely from anywhere in the UK, with some travel required occasionally (primarily for our flagship Pride event in London in August). All reasonable expenses incurred are reimbursed, including travel, lunch at away days and other all day events, and some childcare costs if required. The successful candidate will attend fortnightly Events team meetings on Wednesday evenings via conference call, in addition to other possible meetings with the Events Administration sub-team and Events Trustee and Head of Events which will be scheduled in line with the team’s best availability.

Training

We provide accredited training with 3 short courses needing to be completed prior starting your volunteer role.  After, you’ll have access to over 90 accredited courses should you want to study further.

Across the UK, our 270 local groups play a vital part in supporting people affected by MS. They provide sense of belonging, unity and friendship. And they deliver services and support for their local MS community.

We are looking to recruit an Administration Volunteer for the West Hertfordshire Group. Our Administration Volunteers are the linchpin for our local groups’ activities. They act as the first point of contact and they make sure all relevant information is circulated to other volunteers and members. And they play an important role in keeping our data and details up to date to comply with data protection legislation.

In this role you’ll develop your administration and organisation skills. Most importantly you’ll be help your local group run efficiently, so they can keep providing valuable services to our MS community. 

Time Commitment

We estimate this role will need around 2 hours a week. Our roles are flexible and aim to fit around you. Time commitments for this role may vary depending on your activities. This is an ongoing role.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a large charity and develop your existing skills and learn new ones. We need you to get involved and help make positive changes to the lives of people affected by MS.

Main responsibilities

·Welcome families, visitors, and professionals to the Family Centre in a friendly and professional manner.

·Answer telephone calls and take messages accurately.

·Assist staff with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and preparing resources.

·Input data into systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

·Help maintain an organised and tidy reception and office space.

·Support the preparation of publicity materials, newsletters, and information displays.

·Signpost visitors to the appropriate staff member for further support.

They act as the first point of contact and they make sure all relevant information is circulated to other volunteers and members. And they play an important role in keeping our data and details up to date to comply with data protection legislation.

In this role you’ll develop your administration and organisation skills. Most importantly you’ll be help your local group run efficiently, so they can keep providing valuable services to our MS community. 

Time Commitment

We estimate this role will need around 2 hours a week. Our roles are flexible and aim to fit around you. Time commitments for this role may vary depending on your activities. This is an ongoing role.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a large charity and develop your existing skills and learn new ones. We need you to get involved and help make positive changes to the lives of people affected by MS.

About you

You’ll have an interest in the MS Society and the work that we do, as well as the enthusiasm to represent both us and our values locally. You will understand the needs of people affected by MS in your area and be sympathetic to the needs and motivations of volunteers. You’ll be confident using Microsoft Office, the internet and email. You’ll be able to apply disability, equality and inclusion practices and understand and apply our risk management system. Quilombo UK is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a
Voluntary Sales Administrator. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain foundational
experience and an understanding of the sales lifecycle in a professional environment.
The administrator will provide essential support to the Sales Team, ensuring smooth operation
of all outreach campaigns and accurate performance reporting. This is a learning role focused
on developing business-critical administrative, research, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities & Learning Areas
The Administrator will support the sales function by focusing on administrative efficiency and
target identification:
● Email Creation and Dissemination:
○ Drafting, preparing, and proofreading sales outreach emails and follow-up templates
(using tools like Mailchimp).
○ Assisting with the dissemination of campaigns to target audiences under the guidance
of the Sales Director.
● Target Audience Research:
○ Researching and identifying suitable target audiences, groups, and individuals for our
core service offerings (e.g., ePDP, iPDP, Workshops).
○ Collecting and verifying contact data (Email, Name, Phone) for the sales pipeline and
CRM systems.
● Sales Reporting and Metrics:
○ Assisting with the collection of sales data, including open rates, conversion tracking,
and campaign performance metrics.
○ Preparing basic sales reports to highlight outreach efficiency and campaign success.
● Administrative Support:
○ Managing and updating the sales contacts database and CRM (Customer Relationship
Management) system.
○ Organizing and maintaining sales documents and collateral.
Requirements & Skills
● Essential: A strong interest in pursuing a career in sales, marketing, or business
administration.

● Skills: Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft

Role Description: 

This role sits within our new Men’s Minds project, based in Hounslow. The aim of the service is to improve men’s mental health outcomes by developing a mental health network supported and directed by the voices of its members.

This will be achieved through three service strands: 1) Peer support network, 2) Psychoeducation workshops, addressing common needs of men’s mental health 3) Outreach support to raise awareness of men’s mental health and promote this service. 

The role of the Administrator Volunteer is to support the coordinator with: 

• Meet with Men’s Minds coordinator each week to discuss administrative tasks (online or in person). 

• Respond to general enquiries about the service 

• Respond to weekly emailed invitations for our Service Users and collate the results on a spreadsheet 

• With coordinator oversight, complete onboarding processes and upload to our data management software ‘Views,’ upload data related to

We are looking for someone who: 

• To be able to provide a welcoming, authentic, and positive experience for all, being inclusive and embracing diversity 

• Are a non-judgmental and friendly individual who can communicate across different mediums(email, phone etc)

• Are able to take on any ad hoc admin/support responsibilities

• We will provide volunteers with an induction, training, and ongoing mentoring to support them in the role

WMDAS is a charity, part funded by the Welsh Government and is accredited by Driving Mobility. Referrals are accepted from individuals, DVLA, Motability and numerous other organisations.  Our purpose is to offer disabled drivers and passengers of all ages specialist advice and assessments to find solutions for their outdoor mobility. 

We are looking for people who may be considering taking their first step in a trustee role or may have been involved with trusteeship previously. Our trustees bring their skills, energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role and play a vital role in making sure that the Wales Mobility & Driving Assessment Service (WMDAS) achieves its core purpose.

They oversee the overall management and administration of the charity. They also ensure WMDAS has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision.  Board members act as a group and have a collective responsibility to support and challenge the management team to enable WMDAS to grow and thrive and through this achieve our mission.

Trustee Duties are to:

· Support and provide advice on the WMDAS purpose, vision, goals and activities

· Approve operational strategies and policies, and monitor and evaluate their implementation

· Oversee the WMDAS financial plans and budgets and monitor and evaluate progress

· Ensure the effective and efficient administration of the organisation

· Ensure that key risks are being identified, monitored and controlled effectively.

· Review and approve the WMDAS financial statements.

· Keep abreast of changes in the WMDAS operating environment.

· Contribute to regular reviews of the WMDAS own governance. Attend Board meetings adequately prepared to contribute to discussions

· Contribute to the broader promotion of the WMDAS objects, aims and reputation by applying your skills, expertise, knowledge and contacts.

Time Commitment: There are 3 or 4 board meetings annually plus an Annual General Meeting. Currently meetings are held remotely via Zoom or in person at our mobility centre in Cardiff if possible, additionally trustees are available via email as required.
