Job description

The Macmillan Cancer Support Centre at Ashford Hospital, Surrey, is an inclusive and welcoming environment that promotes wellbeing for people living with and beyond cancer. It also provides a supportive, non-clinical space for families, loved ones, carers and healthcare professionals involved in cancer care.

Volunteers are at the heart of what we do and play a vital role in supporting every aspect of the centre. We are looking for friendly individuals who are willing to give their time, skills and experience to help people manage the impact of cancer on their lives. We have a range of roles available from meeting and greeting to light gardening. Please let us know more about what you might like to do when you get in touch.

By volunteering with us, you will help to create a safe and welcoming space where people affected by cancer can find comfort, connection and trusted support. If you have good communication skills and a passion for helping others, contact us now to become one of our first ever centre volunteers. If you are ready to be part of something new, meaningful and inspiring, we would love to hear from you.
