Job description

17.5 hours per week
Fixed-term contract for 1 year

Are you interested in being part of a team to help the Church keep people safe?

A new role has arisen within the Discipleship team at the United Reformed Church House to provide administrative support to the Safeguarding Office, responding to initial safeguarding enquiries from local churches and synods and helping the team to deliver the Safeguarding Strategic Plan.

We are looking for a diligent and motivated person who will contribute to the safeguarding ethos of the Church. With a background of administrative support, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with matters in a sensitive and confidential manner. You will be organised and thorough with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Practical experience of MS office is essential.

Experience of the protection of children and/or vulnerable adults and knowledge of safeguarding would be a distinct advantage.
