About You:
Having previously worked within a direct marketing team within the charity sector, you’ll have experience project managing campaigns with external agencies and internal stakeholders utilising a variety of fundraising channels such as digital, email, social media, direct mail, and telemarketing.
You’ll also have gained experience using Dynamics 365, Raisers Edge or a similar database.
About The Role
- Lead on the planning and implementation of legacy and in mem fundraising portfolio, managing marketing campaigns from initial brief through to post campaign analysis.
- Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with in mem supporters and legacy prospects in local communities, with the support of community fundraising managers and local volunteers – keeping these supporters at the heart of your work to to maintain and increase their support through excellent stewardship.
- Prepare and administer correspondence and relevant paperwork and ensure maintenance for full and accurate database (D365/First Class) records, analysing financial and non-financial data to monitor and improve engagement and customer service performance.
- Proactively keep abreast of competitor activities, new initiatives and sector trends.
- Effectively plan and execute legacy events around the country, with the aim of motivating supporters to consider leaving a gift in their Will.

Arts Emergency is looking for an enthusiastic person to join its dynamic Fundraising & Marketing team.
This rewarding role involves focusing on communicating with and nurturing a large network of donors. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fundraising environment and a good grasp of general fundraising principles and best practices in fundraising.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide first-line support for all fundraising enquiries and ensure they are followed up appropriately and in a timely manner
- Ensure the fundraising database and Gift Aid declarations are up to date

- Send thank you emails and post packs to donors at all levels, and keep the website up to date with donor recognition
- Coordinate donor relationships and user experiences within Arts Emergency for regular and one-off donors and for community fundraisers
- Conduct detailed, ongoing research into new funding opportunities and prospective supporters
- Support the Finance team with income administration
- With the wider team, design a schedule of innovative donor events and coordinate preparation

Our feasibility study identified that statutory sources of funding, currently under-accessed will be a new area of opportunity for churches, schools and housing to access.

Job Summary:
As Net Zero Carbon Statutory Fundraising Coordinator, you will work in The Giving Directorate and operate across the whole Church with a focus on supporting parishes and dioceses to access statutory funds. You will share your knowledge and insight to support with identifying, researching and applying to funding from a range of government sources. You will develop and maintain resources, guidance and training and help share best practice across the country, as well as working with regional fundraisers. - Develop a national plan to secure statutory funding at parish and diocesan level
- Acting as a central point of coordination between the schools, housing and parish fundraising workstreams to oversee statutory funding
- Working specifically with the Regional Fundraising Officer in the north west cluster of dioceses to identify and support applications to statutory funding sources by parishes
- Working with Net Zero Implementation Manager to support statutory funding applications for clergy housing
- Building capacity in dioceses to support senior staff (incl. Bishops) to use their networks to identify relevant statutory funding opportunities (e.g. mayors, local council leadership, police and crime commissioners etc)
- Supporting dioceses to think creatively about packaging projects up a) between parishes, b) between parishes, schools and clergy housing, c) across deaneries.

The ideal candidate:
To be successful, you will need experience of securing statutory funding for projects and of other aspects of fundraising.
