About the role
Reporting to the Head of People, the HR Officer will primarily:

Job Description:
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- High volume diary management, including work and personal diary prioritisation and filtering out non-essential meetings.
- Answering, screening and responding as appropriate to incoming calls, visitors and correspondence.
- Preparing for internal and external meetings, calls and video conferences including confirming relevant materials are received, printed and bound for meetings.
- Management of travel arrangements. Scheduling and tracking domestic and international travel itineraries within several time zones.
- Administration support for the research team, including arranging meetings and assisting with event and meeting organisation.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
Training
- In conjunction with the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, facilitate a safeguarding learning and development programme for the diocese aligned with the national church Learning and Development Framework, Church Safeguarding Standards, reflecting the specific safeguarding responsibilities of those in role.
- To administer all lay and clergy safeguarding training run by the Diocese in line with above, in approximately 80 sessions a year. Job purpose
This is a pivotal senior administration role in a charity that is passionate about making a difference to the veterinary care that animals receive. You’ll be working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, with the trustee board and with all members of the staff team of about 20 people. Duties and key responsibilities:
Office Maintenance
- Oversee the general maintenance of the office.

Overview / purpose of the role
We’re looking for a Finance & Operations Assistant who is interested in developing a career in bookkeeping and/or accountancy within the nonprofit sector. No previous experience is required, just lots of passion and a motivation to pursue a long-term career in charity finance. Finance
