About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. A UK registered charity, we work in collaboration with Palestinian communities and trusted local partners, and coordinate with key stakeholders and relevant clusters, to meet a wide range of health and social needs, from providing vital medical aid in emergencies, to supporting the development of better health services for the long term. We also uplift the voices of Palestinians, and campaign for an end to the barriers to health and dignity that come from living through occupation, displacement, discrimination and conflict.
MAP is in a period of growth and rapid development, and as such, the incoming Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for the financial strategy and management of MAP and for the leadership of operational areas to help deliver the organisation’s mission and strategic goals. The COO provides support to the CEO in areas of governance, legal and risk management and may deputise for the CEO as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have Relevant post-graduate business degree preferred. Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior management role ideally with in-house financial management experience gained in a high-growth organisation. Experience either as an employee or board member of a non-profit organisation; must be familiar with non-profit finance and accounting regulations. Responsibilities
Strategy, vision and leadership
- Be accountable to the CEO and Board in the areas of finance, technology, risk and compliance, supply chain and logistics, and safety and security.
- Advise the CEO and SMT on all these areas as well as on legal, governance and related policy matters.
- Work closely with SMT colleagues to ensure that appropriate processes and systems are in place across the organisation, including delivery against KPIs.
- Serve as the management liaison to the Finance & Operations Committee, Audit Risk & Governance Committee and, where required, to the Board of Trustees; effectively communicate and present critical matters under their responsibility at governance meetings.
- Ensure robust, secure and scalable IT systems and infrastructure. Lead on information governance & data protection and identify and drive opportunities for digital transformation.
- Provide strategic leadership for supply chain management at MAP to ensure an efficient, effective and accountable supply chain policies and practices that meet MAP’s needs.
- Ensure a robust framework and system for identifying, assessing and mitigating risks across thenorganisation in line with MAP’s risk appetite.

Purpose of the role

Supporter care
- To be proactive in enabling the supporter journey with timely communications (phone, email and letters) and clear stewardship with both existing and new donors
- Ensure effective frontline support and response for donors across a range of incoming systems
- Ensure donation processes and procedures are adhered to and executed in a timely manner, in accordance with guidelines – updating those wherever required with approval by the RSG Fundraising Officer.
Donations and data entry
- Ensure that the fundraising CRM database is up to date and that supporters contact and financial data is accurate, including creating new records
- Complete weekly banking and allocation tasks in accordance with the approved process, liaising with the finance department to ensure that all batched income is allocated correctly
- Data inputting on the CRM to include: regular giving, importing income from external agencies including CAF and Just Giving, processing Gift Aid and accurately storing declarations
- Filing and management of paperwork, ensuring due diligence and security measures are followed.
Fundraising & volunteer support
- To provide active support to a range of events including: managing participants, sending information, monitoring online giving pages and on the day set up and pack down
- To directly source donated items and contributors to support fundraising events including raffle/auction prizes and coordinating suppliers, stallholders and entertainers
- Coordinate and communicate with volunteers for events and corporate volunteering days and activities, ensuring they are briefed and supported
- To support any regular mailings or email contact to supporters, assisting with the cleaning and compliance of data once an agreed annual schedule is in place regular.
Other
- To manage all aspects of incoming fundraising post and dedicated inboxes along with outgoing mailings
- Ensure general department are kept up to date including attendance at meetings within RSG group wherever possible

Our work is in three areas: neuroscientific study to understand the lifelong benefits of regular reading; the production of accessible content and events; and grassroots work to help shelters and refuges access books and shared reading groups, in partnership with organisations like St Mungo’s, The Elm Foundation and Reading for Wellbeing.

About the Role
The Queen’s Reading Room is funded entirely by grants, donations, sponsorship and income from events. We’re looking for a vibrant and well-connected individual to join the small but agile team, to lead this function within the charity and design and set up a fundraising committee. You will build on a strong base of income generation and work to sustain and expand it.
You will be responsible for building the fundraising strategy with the charity’s CEO and Board of Trustees; for identifying appropriate opportunities to generate funding in the UK and internationally; and for the targets agreed by the CEO and board. You will be comfortable with, and have experience in, the world of high profile and high net-worth individuals, legacy fundraising, fundraising and friendraising events. You will know how to build relationships with individual donor prospects along with charitable trusts, foundations and other institutional funders. You will attend networking events and meetings with potential donors.
Your role will include devising and creating fundraising events; securing sponsorship for events and festivals; contributing to the writing and submitting of funding applications to charitable trusts and foundations; and advising and providing suitable copy for fundraising marketing and digital materials. You will work with the team to create case studies and grant reports, sharing and telling great stories to supporters to ensure that they understand the difference that their donations make and with a view to securing repeat support.
You’ll create new relationships by preparing and delivering pitches, talks and presentations and prepare reports and give presentations on fundraising progress to the CEO and the Board of Trustees.
You will join as a key member of the organisation, alongside the CEO, Director of Operations, Director of MarComms, Head of Talent, Head of Production and Team Researcher.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of significant and sustained income generation. You’ll have a track record of managing and developing relationships with individual donors and be committed to building good internal and external relationships. Background
The Minster Centre is a registered charity based in Queens Park, London NW6 that trains psychotherapists and counsellors and provides an accessible therapy service. As an accredited higher education organisation, we provide in-person and online courses throughout the week and weekend. The Reception Manager is a critical and central role at The Minster Centre, providing a welcoming service to students, room hirers, therapy clients and staff members that is efficient and aligned with The Minster Centre’s Ethos. As part of this role, you will provide first-line support to tutors and students as well as undertake administrative duties crucial to the running of the Centre. Job summary
The ideal candidate will have previous administration and front of house experience to help ensure that all building users (students, room hirers and clients) are welcomed, that the building is available and set up for training and therapy services, and that the building is closed and secured at the end of the day. Duties and responsibilities
Oversee and manage the Reception Team
- Ensure Reception is always covered by organising a reception rota that covers absence, holidays, etc.
General management of Reception
- Receive and welcome visitors.

Student support and progression
- Ensure that students are enrolled on courses and set up on systems accurately.
- Manage the re-enrolment process between academic years.
- Oversee the recording of student progression.

JOB SUMMARY
1. To work alongside the Involvement Project Lead, the Involvement Administrative Coordinator, two Peer Involvement Coordinators, and the wider Involvement Team.
2. Use peer support values and principles within the context of supporting people to take part in involvement and coproduction activities.
3. Support people with lived experience of trust services through the registration process to enable them to join the Lived Experience Network.
4. Build connections with Lived Experience Members, gaining an understanding of their lived experience of services, their interests and what they may want to gain from taking part actively. Using this knowledge to support them to become involved in involvement and coproduction activities.
5. Support members in their involvement through 1 to 1 check-ins, group facilitation, and by offering support before, during and after involvement activities.
6. Through the wisdom of their own lived experience, and a respect for the diversity of perspectives and experiences, the postholder will challenge stigma and inspire hope and a belief that recovery is possible.
7. Support with the management of the central point of contact for the Involvement Team via the team shared inbox, telephone number and office drop-in (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm).
8. Provide efficient and professional face to face, telephone and virtual contact and support functions for trust service users, carers, and staff.
9. Offer support to respond to staff and member enquiries; requests to promote involvement opportunities to the Lived Experience Network; selecting members for opportunities and responding to new joiner interest.
10. Offer support to staff to plan, advertise, and run involvement activities with the aim of developing meaningful / impactful involvement.
11. Maintain appropriate records and support the collation of data to demonstrate the team’s outputs and impact.

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Programme Coordinator to help keep our busy calendar of classes, events, and community activities running like clockwork. Experience within a school and / or not-for-profit organisation is desirable, albeit not essential. Experience with grant management processes would also be highly desirable.

We are looking for a Football Development Officer to support the delivery of TeamUCL's new focus sport, football. The role combines football delivery with desk-based sports administration and student engagement. We are looking for someone passionate about developing football in all forms - from running beginner friendly sessions to working with students to co-create community volunteering projects.
Do you have experience delivering sports leagues and events? Do you want to support students to develop professional skills through football? If the answer is yes, then we want to hear from you. Our ideal candidate will be able to deliver football sessions for a range of abilities, have experience of working with and motivating volunteers and good verbal and written communication.
