The Role:
To assist in the delivery of a high-quality, widely respected and customer-influenced repairs and maintenance function by providing full project management support and customer liaison across the full range of Stoll’s property compliance and asset maintenance contracts and programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a positive image of Stoll to its customers, stakeholders, and other relevant outside bodies.

Specific Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and implement the delivery of gas safety services to include annual gas safety checks to all dwellings and gaining access to inaccessible homes.
• Develop and maintain effective mechanisms to ensure all gas, LPG, oil, ASHP & renewables and solid fuel appliances are inspected annually.
• Maintain up-to-date and appropriate records for the proper management of the gas safety programme and all other property compliance programmes. This may include both paper and electronic records.
• Ensure that STOLL meet all statutory and HSE (Health and Safety Executive) requirements relating to all identified areas of property compliance including all elements of FLAGEL –   fire, legionella, asbestos, gas safety, electrical safety, and lifts.
• Work closely with the H&S Officer to ensure that work relating to fire safety is delivered appropriately and as required.
• Effectively manage appropriate facilities management and property compliance budgets and resources to ensure optimum service/programme levels are achieved.
• Process invoices and ensure contract payments are made in a timely fashion.
• Provide colleagues with itemised service charge estimates for tenants and leaseholders detailing the annual costs of servicing/maintenance/cyclical works.
• Ensure timely, accurate and relevant performance management information is available for review and can be produced for the property compliance function. Assist in monitoring performance targets to achieve continuous improvement.
• Assist with the preparation, administration and monitoring of facilities management and property compliance contracts and programmes. Prepare specifications and schedules and programmes of work. Issue works orders and monitor quantity, progress, and quality of works on site.
• Manage contractors daily across the full portfolio of facilities management and property compliance programmes, ensuring that contractors adhere to an agreed programme for each individual resident’s home and that collectively programmes are delivered on time.
• Ensure timely and accurate administration of all records relating to property compliance and facilities management. This will include input and record keeping and include supervision of contractors.
• Records must be maintained to a standard which ensures that all information in connection with servicing and testing programmes is readily retrievable when requested.
• Carry out site inspections of works in progress when required. Arrange and minute regular meetings with property compliance, facilities management and cyclical maintenance contractors either as specified in individual contracts, or on good practice grounds agreed with the Director of Property and Asset Management.

Job Description

The Jewish Museum London has undergone substantial positive change over the past two years, moving out of our Camden site and moving to a ‘Museum without Walls’ model.  The museum is building a new strategy that will lead its transformation over the next 10 years as it tests out innovative new models for exhibitions, displays, learning and engagement, building towards a new permanent site and dynamic operational model.  Learning and engagement are central to the museum’s future.  This new role will support the learning and engagement team by coordinating bookings, marketing and communications for the team.

Our museum is made up of passionate and expert staff and a collection of over 40,000 objects which are both accredited and designated with Outstanding status by Arts Council England. Our learning programmes hold multiple awards, and our visitor feedback is consistently very high, however, we have much bigger ambitions than our current success. The Museum is looking to expand, in space, in profile and in audience reach. We are looking for someone passionate about our potential to coordinate the day-to-day running of the learning team as we move forward to the next phase of the Jewish Museum London.

Reporting to the Head of Learning the appointed candidate will have the organisational and administrative skills to ensure the team can effectively deliver programmes for schools, families and communities as well as taking a lead on communicating the museum’s activity through social media, newsletters and the website.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The main role of the Learning and Communications Coordinator will be to administrate the activities of the learning department, in particular our flagship programme of schools workshops both in person and digitally. About the Department/Role

The Racial Justice Unit reflects the Church's renewed commitment to justice as part of the wider theological imperatives to see Christ in the other, to be united in Him and to love our neighbours. The primary role of the RJU is to lead on the coordination of racial justice initiatives which involves the implementation of(FLTA), supporting key stakeholders including the senior leadership, dioceses, NCIs, TEIs, and other related institutions, coordinating and supporting the governance mechanisms, and managing the related Triennium Fund.  

This is a six-month interim role to provide operational leadership to support the delivery of the Unit's priorities which could be a suitable secondment opportunity.

What you'll be doing

The Racial Justice Unit is seeking a skilled Grants Manager, to lead the delivery of its funding programme. This role is central to managing grant operations, assessing applications, supporting grantees, and evaluating impact.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage grant pipeline, awards, and live caseloads
• Lead financial tracking and reporting
• Support impact evaluation and learning
• Line manage the RJU Grants Assistant
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and PMO teams
• Assist with transition to new grant management system

To be successful, you will need to have:

• Strong grant management and financial oversight
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organised
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
• Experience in impact evaluation and reporting

Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Havering offers an activity centre to residents of Redbridge aged 55 or above, to use for exercise and craft among other classes, and to enjoy light refreshments and a daily, 2 course, freshly prepared lunch.

A part time cook is required, to provide lunches (main course and dessert) and work alongside a small team to include; two other part time cooks and approximately 12 volunteers.  The centre is overseen by an onsite manager who will look after the day to day running of the centre, and who line manages the cooks and volunteers.

The ability to work independently and with the help of a kitchen assistant volunteer is essential in order to prepare between 10 and 30 meals per day. We are looking for a qualified, experienced cook, with recent experience. You will need to have proof of relevant Food Hygiene training and an understanding of different dietary requirements, as well as allergy legislation and health and safety knowledge relevant to Kitchen work.

You would be expected to assist the manager in planning meals to keep within budgets and to assist with the preparation for special event occasion menus or other ad hoc catering that may be required.
