As Educational Partnerships Manager you will be a key contributor to the regional educational partnerships team, supporting the team to achieve shared KPI’s for the region and the wider organisation. The role of Educational Partnerships Manager involves working directly with young people and teachers in schools that delivering / supporting delivery of our Young Enterprise programmes.
The Educational Partnerships Manager role will suit someone that is able to work with young people, build rapport and engage young people from a range of backgrounds. You will need to be confident in working within education settings, liaising with school staff, volunteers, and corporate volunteers. This can be a varied role, but a very exciting role as well as very rewarding. Your experience of relationships development and management will help with developing new schools as well as supporting existing school relationships. There is not an exhaustive list but is to provide you with a flavour of the role.

You will be joining a dynamic community fundraising team at an exciting period of growth in our fundraising programme. You will work along side the Community Development and Fundraising Manager and the Digital and Social Community Fundraiser and be responsible for providing a high level of administrative and triage support for Community Fundraising activity, with specific responsibility for accurate data inputting and exceptional initial stewardship of community fundraising supporters.
Our current fundraising activities vary to include a wide range of supporter led events (Team CF [1]), ranging from football tournaments to bake sales, silent discos, balls and more. The Community Fundraising team all work from home and regularly keep in touch with weekly online team meetings, individual catchups as required, as well as in person meetings throughout the year. This role would suit someone who is passionate about relational fundraising, is extremely organised and can work both on their own and in a team.
Typical responsibilities in the role are:
- To triage and respond to incoming enquiries, material requests and bookings via phone & email, efficiently and accurately.
- To ensure the management of accurate supporter records/bookings for key community events using third party external sites such as Enthuse to support this
- Engage with fundraising supporters and potential supporters to deliver exceptional stewardship and understanding people’s needs and challenges

Keep Britain Tidy has a new opportunity for a Project Manager to manage the Chewing Gum Task Force programme. The Chewing Gum Task Force is a partnership between Defra, the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs in Northern Ireland, Scottish Government and Welsh Government and chewing gum producers including Mars Wrigley and Perfetti Van Melle which aims to clean up historic gum staining from UK high streets and change behaviour so that more people bin their gum.
The Project Manager will lead on overall administration of the scheme and manage the cleansing grant programme for councils, working alongside partner organisation Behaviour Change. In Years 1 and 2 of the scheme, participating councils have seen reductions in gum littering of up to 80% in the first two months. Now in Year 3, we will shortly distribute more than £1.2m funding to councils across the UK.
This is an exciting role within a fast-paced charity. You will have a proven track record in project management, ideally in environmental projects and/or grant schemes. Excellent organisational and record keeping skills are a must, along with the ability to form good working relationships with Chewing Gum Task Force stakeholders.

We're the charity who look after and bring to life 2,000 miles of waterways across England and Wales, because we believe that life is better by water. Every role across the Trust plays its part in transforming our canals and rivers into spaces where local people want to spend time and feel better, bringing wellbeing benefits to millions.
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Ecologist to join our Environment and Climate action team within the S&I Directorate and is responsible for delivering the Trust’s strategy and policy on all environment and climate related sustainability issues, including environmental compliance as a minimum, improvement of our protected sites and achieving a net gain in biodiversity across our canal network.
The Ecologist will be responsible for providing professional technical input into the Trust’s strategic activities around nature recovery. This includes collecting and analysing information and data to support a long-term action plan to move more of our protected sites towards favourable condition and support projects that increase biodiversity and the abundance of protected species across the network.
The Canal & River Trust is in an ideal position, as a large landowner with blue and green corridors connecting habitats across the landscape, to carry out environmental enhancements using our local volunteer workforce to ensure that we improve habitats and support biodiversity. Planting the right trees in the right places, reconnecting old hedgerows and restoring or creating wildflower meadows and linear species-rich grasslands to provide a safe haven for wildlife and a destination for people to retreat to from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Reconnecting people with the nature on their doorstep and offering them opportunities to get involved in looking after ‘their patch’ through guided walks and talks.
Our aim is to support the work of the Trust as a whole, while conserving and enhancing the environment of the inland waterway network. Finding simple and innovative solutions/methods of work to ensure that the modern-day use of the waterways, their historical importance, the Trust’s legal obligations and strategic priorities are met through sustainable development, conservation and enhancement of the natural environment.
Location
The role will be based working from home, with the expectation to attend main regional hubs either at Milton Keynes, Birmingham, or Little Venice (Paddington), for collaborative working. This is a national role, requiring collaboration with teams in all six of the Trust’s regions. There will be an expectation that the successful candidate will be able travel to attend meetings or fieldwork throughout the regional waterway network.
Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience
Key accountabilities:
- Provide ecological technical advice as requested. This includes input into Trust EMS standards and tools and nature recovery projects.
- Contribute to the Trust’s Nature Recovery Strategy and associated sustainability initiatives, with a view to increasing biodiversity across the Trust’s network
- Contribute to national programmes of engagement with customers, volunteers, stakeholders and the general public to promote the value of waterways and the work of the Trust to increase the Trust’s reputation and influence and secure additional resources for our work, focusing on our key sustainability priorities.
- Work with regional ecology teams to implement relevant inspection/monitoring and maintenance programmes for environmental/soft estate assets within their geographical remit, (re-)prioritising work to suit available resources and within delegated authority levels.
- Contribute to the implementation of an environmental management system (EMS; including associated processes & standards) especially with responsibility for monitoring national uptake
- Collaboration with regional teams to maintain ecology and nature recovery performance data (e.g. GIS layers, ecological baseline and species location data)
- Assist in the development of environmental training & competency
- Contribute to corporate targets on raising public awareness of and support for the Trust especially through interest in our environmental assets.
- Contribute to external engagement and fundraising nationally to secure additional resources for the Trust, especially through interest in our environmental assets

About the role

Our Green Space for Health programme helps to realise the value of green space for physical and mental health, both at healthcare sites and in the wider community. Our flagship project, the NHS Forest, promotes tree planting and woodland creation at NHS sites, supporting and encouraging sites to plant and maintain trees through offering free trees and advice. We support NHS sites to develop their greenspace for the benefits of patients, health staff and communities, while improving biodiversity and combatting climate change. We do this by encouraging green space enhancements such as meadow areas, vegetable growing, orchards and therapeutic gardens, as well as supporting the delivery of nature-based interventions for health.
The Green Space for Health Director will oversee the development of the NHS Forest and other Green Space for Health projects, delivering the programme strategy. This will include managing the Green Space for Health team, overseeing the delivery of our funded projects including budget management, coordinating reports to funders and trustees, and taking a strategic lead on the development and funding of the Green Space for Health programme in consultation with other stakeholders. The Green Space for Health Director will deliver our programme strategy through fulfilling the following responsibilities:
- Provide line management for the Green Space for Health Team’s 5 staff members. This will include one-to-one meetings, appraisals and regular team meetings.
- Oversee the delivery of the Green Space for Health funded projects, including NHS Forest tree planting projects and our Nature Recovery Ranger programme.
- Raise income for, monitor and oversee the programme budget in consultation with CSH’s fundraising and finance team.
- Coordinate reporting on the programme, including liaising with funders and producing reports for funders and for CSH’s board of trustees.
- Oversee the development and delivery of Green Space for Health training course, working with Green Space for Health staff and with administrative and strategic support from CSH’s education team.
- Work with the team to coordinate the NHS Forest Advisory Group.
- Build partnerships that will further the development of the programme and contribute to fundraising in line with the programme objectives.
- Act as a spokesperson for the programme, including making presentations, responding to media requests and participating in relevant national policy fora, including for the purposes of wider policy development.
- Be an active member of CSH’s senior management team, helping to develop CSH as an organisation, including strategy, employment and oversight.

At Harrogate Homeless Project our vision is that nobody in the Harrogate District has to sleep rough. Each year we help hundreds of people experiencing homelessness to get the support they needto build confidence and move towards independent living.
Harrogate Homeless Project is seeking to recruit a Volunteer Coordinator to join the Fundraising and Marketing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the growth and development of Volunteering within the organisation. Working with the Fundraising and Marketing Manager, the position will look to develop opportunities for increasing income across fundraising and recruiting volunteers for all areas of HHP activities.
The post holder will be responsible for the recruitment, induction and training of all new volunteers to HHP, and providing ongoing support to staff on volunteer processes.

The Role
This role will work with HHP’s Management Team to develop opportunities for all areas within the Charity. Regular activities will include, developing recruitment campaigns to promote volunteering with HHP, ensuring all volunteers receive an induction and appropriate training, and identifying specific skills volunteers have developed and matching these to suitable volunteer opportunities to maximise the benefits for HHP and the volunteer.

In 2024 and 2025, the Church of England is testing and piloting a range of approaches to help churches fundraise for projects. Our feasibility study identified that statutory sources of funding, currently under-accessed will be a new area of opportunity for churches, schools and housing to access.
The Giving Directorate is leading on the strategy to coordinate and support the plans being developed by our dioceses, churches, cathedrals, schools, and departments. Job Summary:
As Net Zero Carbon Statutory Fundraising Coordinator, you will work in The Giving Directorate and operate across the whole Church with a focus on supporting parishes and dioceses to access statutory funds. You will share your knowledge and insight to support with identifying, researching and applying to funding from a range of government sources. You will develop and maintain resources, guidance and training and help share best practice across the country, as well as working with regional fundraisers. With a range of projects and fundraising initiatives, the post holder will work collaboratively within The Giving Directorate and with the Net Zero Programme Team, with diocesan colleagues and with church volunteers.

The role:
Main responsibilities
- Develop a national plan to secure statutory funding at parish and diocesan level
- Acting as a central point of coordination between the schools, housing and parish fundraising workstreams to oversee statutory funding
- Working specifically with the Regional Fundraising Officer in the north west cluster of dioceses to identify and support applications to statutory funding sources by parishes
- Working with Net Zero Implementation Manager to support statutory funding applications for clergy housing
- Building capacity in dioceses to support senior staff (incl. Bishops) to use their networks to identify relevant statutory funding opportunities (e.g. mayors, local council leadership, police and crime commissioners etc)
- Supporting dioceses to think creatively about packaging projects up a) between parishes, b) between parishes, schools and clergy housing, c) across deaneries.
- Leading consortia of dioceses to apply for funding if available and supporting applications
- Building a hub of best practice and shared learning which will include designing and delivering training to staff and volunteers at all levels
- Sharing statutory funding opportunities across the Church of England, Net Zero Carbon, Giving, and Fundraising networks and with Cathedrals
The ideal candidate:
To be successful, you will need experience of securing statutory funding for projects and of other aspects of fundraising. You will need to be a very strong self-motivator and initiator as the job requires an ability to work across a wide geographical area on a diverse range of projects. Experience managing projects would also be useful. You will be an excellent trainer and communicator.
Due to the specialist nature of the roles within The Giving Directorate, training will be provided to successful candidates to enable them to carry out their role confidently.
