Main duties

Fundraising CRM Project Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end project to replace the current CRM system, including an audit of existing data, research into CRM options, supplier selection and full onboarding and implementation.
• Manage and maintain the current Salesforce system during the review period, ensuring it remains functional, accurate, and fit for purpose while supporting the transition process.
• Act as the day-to-day lead for the CRM system within the Fundraising and Communications team, ensuring it meets team needs and supports strategic goals.

CRM and Data Management

• Maintain and improve the quality of supporter data through regular cleansing, deduplication, and tagging to ensure accuracy and GDPR compliance.
• Working with data flows and setting up integrations, ensuring the system runs smoothly on an ongoing basis, making updates, troubleshooting issues whilst maintaining data consistency.
• Work with the Finance team to support integration between the CRM and finance systems for seamless donation and income reporting.

Data Selections, Segmentation and Campaign Support

• Collaborate with the Fundraising team to perform targeted data selections for appeals, newsletters, stewardship journeys, and events.
• Develop and maintain segmentation structures and logic to support personalised supporter journeys and strategic targeting.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to provide campaign-ready data for fundraising, advocacy, and engagement activities.

Reporting and Insight

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real time insight into fundraising performance, donor behaviour and campaign results.
• Create and deliver regular and ad hoc fundraising analysis to inform strategic decisions and performance tracking.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve donor retention, upgrade journeys and lifetime value through data driven insight.

Key responsibilities

• In conjunction with your Line Manager, continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.
• Proactively flag any data integrity issues with Line Manager and help develop action plans as required.

About The Felix Project

The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. We aim to reduce the negative impact food waste has on the environment by working with the food industry to rescue high quality surplus produce, that would otherwise have gone to waste. This food is sorted at one of our four depots or turned into meals in Felix’s Kitchen. We are looking for the Assistant Kitchen Manager to play a key role in the Kitchen team.

Felix’s Kitchen is the longest running Production site we have here at The Felix Project, the staff and volunteer team in the kitchen, turn surplus food into almost 5,000 meals a day. These meals are cooked and packed on site and then go into our network of depots and on to some of the 1,200 community organisations we support.

This role is support in the managing of the day to day running of the kitchen, its team, the food production and packing of the meals and all aspects related to these responsibilities. Assist The Kitchen Manager in all aspects of the operation and planning for the kitchen.

No two days are ever quite the same in our kitchen, we work with volunteers and surplus food this means we adapt and thrive in a fast and changing environment. This role supports and oversees the entire operation, from the kitchen and chef team to the packing room and packing team, our volunteers and engaging and organising within the wider Felix Project.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your normal duties and responsibilities will be set out in your job description. However, the charity may require you to perform other duties from time to time. 

• Support all kitchen staff so they can fulfil their role
• Assist in the smooth running of the kitchen and packing area, taking a hands-on approach
• Ensure that the operation hits its agreed targets of production
• Responsible for the quality control of the cooked and packed meals, and that all correct HACCP procedures are followed
• Responsible for Health and Safety in the kitchen, food safety and record keeping and keeping all records up to date
• Oversee kitchen maintenance and cleaning
• Overseeing shift planning and the rota for the entire kitchen team
• Ordering of all food and other materials needed in the kitchen
• Connect and work closely together with the team at the Poplar Depot, we are attached to
• Ensuring all staff and all volunteers have all relevant training and are well supervised & supported
• Maintain relationships with the wider Felix team and key connections of the Felix kitchen
• This role will be operational, with some management and administrative duties
• Willingness for the role to develop

Person Specification

This is a truly unique role, and we are looking for someone to bring their own skills, experience and flair to the role. We are looking for someone to help set and maintain very high standards in the kitchen.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is eager to continuously improve, whether this be food quality or process or working relationships. The kitchen has achieved some great successes over the last 4 years, but we are looking for someone to continue that improvement and the impact we can have across London.

Essential Criteria

• Experience in hospitality/catering management and/or kitchen management role
• Eagerness to improve processes and solve problems
• Comfortable with all aspects of H&S, Food Safety and HACCP procedures or a willingness to learn
• Demonstrable interest in food waste and/or food security
• Clear eye for detail, team player, enjoys the work they do and a strong work ethic
• Comfortable in working in a team and a larger organisation
• Strong people and management skills
• Mature and professional management style, whilst also being able to accommodate vulnerable people with care and consideration
• Flexible in working hours, comfortable in working in a fast changing and growing work environment
• Strong IT, administrative and organisational skills

Desirable skills 

• Previous experience in the charity or surplus food environment 
• Level 3 or higher Food Safety qualified 
• Experience working with and/or managing volunteers 
• A passion to reduce food waste and reduce food insecurity

As a Welfare Services Navigator, you will be on the front line of the organisation, providing essential support to beneficiaries through our helpline, email, and web chat services. You will advise members of the RAF family on the financial assistance and support services available through the RAF Benevolent Fund, guiding them on how to access these resources when needed.

The successful candidate will be proactive, with experience of working with people in a supportive capacity. They must be able to engage sensitively and professionally with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. A solid level of administrative experience is essential, ideally gained within a welfare or support-focused environment, along with confidence in using CRM IT systems.

The role will be office based at our London HQ, with a minimum of three days working in the office per week. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Basic DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

This is an exciting and varied role that encompasses all aspects of our fundraising activity and will support the development of relationships with our individual donors, Trusts and Foundations, Corporate Partners, and Community/Faith Groups. Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a charity or other related organisation, in a fundraising and / or marketing team, and will bring relevant, transferable experience to apply to this role. You will work closely with the fundraising team to research, steward, and help secure funding and on your own initiative. Your work will play a key role in enabling our mission to help unlock lasting freedom among women who have survived trafficking, exploitation and other forms of violence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of our individual giving programme including the planning and delivery of fundraising appeals and campaigns.
• Ensure donations are promptly acknowledged and recorded on our fundraising database, Donorfy.
• Lead the development of our use of Donorfy to record and report on our fundraising data, and manage donor relationships.
• Support the planning and delivery of key fundraising events including our annual Gala fundraising event.
• Conduct periodic and ad hoc prospect research on previous and prospective funders and identify new funding opportunities under the supervision of the Trusts and Foundations Grants lead.
• Support the Trusts and Foundations Grants lead to maintain a calendar of deadlines and reporting requirements
• Coordinate periodic mail outs to Trusts and Foundations in the small/general category.
• Support the cultivation and stewardship of corporate supporters under the direction of the Head of Fundraising.
• Assist with developing corporate partnership proposals, and other communications including periodic newsletters and social
• Help coordinate volunteer opportunities for our corporate partners
• Provide general admin support for corporate partners and corporate enquiries.
• Build relationships with local community and faith-based groups, providing support and materials for community-led fundraising activities.
