We are looking to recruit a motivated and talented individual with strong project management skills to lead the delivery of the training function within the BSI. Reporting directly to the Director of Events and Training, and in collaboration with the wider BSI team, the Training Manager will be responsible for the delivery of existing training programmes and for devising, setting up and rolling out new training courses by working with BSI members to develop content and curricula, utilising different platforms from face-to-face to remote learning and supporting marketing of the courses to relevant sectors.
This role is responsible for engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to help identify training needs and opportunities that the BSI can meet. This will include opportunities in several sectors including clinical, scientific and public/patient focused. Using strong commercial acumen, the Training Manager will be critical in the continued development and growth of the training function to generate significant new income for the BSI.
Vision of adventure, a small outdoor charity based in the Lake District , is seeking an experienced fundraiser to join our team. We specialise in working with people with visual impairments facilitating outdoor adventures, social connection and access to specialist coaching. To achieve this the organisation partners visually impaired individuals with sighted guides for residential weekends focusing on: long walks, canoeing, climbing, tandem biking, and more. The team comprises five part-time workers, numerous volunteers, and the board of trustees. We all work remotely, use each others first names, and have flexible scheduling.
The role of a fundraiser is paramount to our continued sustainability. You will be solely responsible for our fundraising initiatives. The charity has a commendable track record of raising funds, and you will be expected to surpass these targets as a professional fundraiser. An engagement officer will support your role by gathering feedback and preparing draft funder impact reports.
You will have extensive demonstrable fundraising experience. You will be personable, be an excellent communicator , make appropriate use of information communication technology, and capable of managing your own time and workload.
We are open to applications that combine this role with that of the engagement officer, which is also advertised at this time.
The role may suit someone who may be stepping back from a busy office environment, have a disability, or caring responsibilities where the remote nature and flexible scheduling would be an asset.

Working closely with the Awareness Programme Manager, Senior Volunteer Development Manager, and colleagues in our Community Services Engagement team, the senior Awareness Programme Officer will be responsible for the delivery of our awareness talk programme across the UK. Abandon Normal Devices are seeking an experienced finance professional or small accountancy provider to manage our core finance functions on a freelance/contract basis. This is an ongoing, part-time contract supporting the financial operations of a small, ambitious arts organisation working at the intersection of art, technology and digital culture.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of charity finance, skilled in Xero, bookkeeping, payroll, reporting, audit preparation, HMRC filings and support with funding reports. You may be an individual already set up for freelance work, or a firm used to providing finance support to charities or arts organisations. You’ll work closely with the Chief Executive and liaise with trustees and external auditors as needed.

1MM Mentor Recruitment Lead main tasks include:
● Build, lead, own and execute 1MM’s mentor recruitment strategy
● Source enough mentors to ensure 1MM has an oversupply (c.15% higher than demand) of fully trained, location relevant mentors available
● Build a sustainable growth engine that ensures the pipeline of mentors remains sufficient on an ongoing basis
● Work with key stakeholders across the business to improve conversion rates by refining our onboarding process
● Meeting all quality assurance KPIs
