Summary
The Racial Justice Unit reflects the Church's renewed commitment to justice as part of the wider theological imperatives to see Christ in the other, to be united in Him and to love our neighbours. The primary role of the RJU is to lead on the coordination of racial justice initiatives which involves the implementation of (FLTA), supporting key stakeholders including the senior leadership, dioceses, NCIs, TEIs, and other related institutions, coordinating and supporting the governance mechanisms, and managing the related Triennium Fund.
This is a six-month interim role to provide operational leadership to support the delivery of the Unit's priorities which could be a suitable secondment opportunity.

- A salary of £48,557 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

The Role
As the Deputy Team Leader (Court Services), working alongside Team Leaders you will be responsible for the delivery of the Witness Service within your court/s (as mentioned above).
You will share responsibility for the effective coordination and development of volunteers who support witnesses in their journey through the criminal justice system.
You will be responsible for general service administrative tasks within the courts, as well as inputting service data.

Main purpose of post
The main purpose of the Grant Giving Coordinator is to lead the efficient and
transparent administration of the charity’s grant-making programmes, ensuring

The role is responsible for managing the full grant cycle—from application and
assessment to decision-making, monitoring, and reporting. The Grant Giving
Coordinator plays a key role in supporting applicants throughout the process,

By coordinating funding processes that are accessible, accountable, and

Key Responsibilities
Grant Programme Management
Coordinate the end-to-end grant cycle, including application
management, eligibility checks, panel support, and award notifications.
Maintain and update grant guidelines, application forms, and supporting
materials.

Respond to enquiries from individuals, and organisations applying for

Key Responsibility
Support the Research Centre Manager, Senior Research Lead, and Head of Research in:
Events Administration
- Attend meetings, take and circulate notes on event planning and preparation.
- Assist the Research Centre Manager, Senior Research Lead, Head of Research, and all other event-hosting staff with: coordinating Calls for Papers; liaising with speakers and collaborators; providing administration for all aspects of events planning.
- Book travel and accommodation for external speakers (and VIP attendees); attend any related invoices and ensure prompt payment of the same.

- As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work
- Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Coach
- Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education
Partnership liaison and relationship management
- Establish the primary local referral agencies and steward relationships with these, overseeing and building a strategy to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective
- Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network
Line Management and training
- Manage the Spear Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development
- Be line managed by Resurgo on Spear Programme performance and ongoing operations of the centre, and report back on KPIs
Church Community
- The Spear Centre Manager is directly employed by Alive Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
- You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members and help the Spear Coach to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme
- Ensure the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church; this may involve attending church events and speaking at services
Site management
- Work with the Church to coordinate the training room and any infrastructure needs for the Spear Centre
- Liaise with relevant staff locally on-site issues and work to resolve them as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies

The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing excellent, detailed and proactive administrative support to the Chief Executive. Chief Executive’s Office Management

To manage the CE’s office and assist with governance and administrative duties.

To act as the first point of contact for internal and external queries and monitoring and drafting correspondence coming to the Chief Executive’s office by phone, email and post. Anticipate issues, assess priorities, and arrange appropriate responses.

Manage the Chief Executive’s diary and time, attendance at meeting and events, reservations, online access where appropriate and meeting preparation.

Organise travel and accommodation for Chief Executive and Members of the Trustee board as required.

All Governance Meeting arrangements including preparation and distribution of meeting papers, recording meeting and production of accurate minutes.

Manage an efficient filing system (electronic and paper-based)

Co-ordinate Senior Leadership Team meetings schedule and support these meetings, taking minutes, recording decisions and the circulation of relevant internal communications arising from SLT meetings.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic individual who has the skills, experience and aptitude to work with the Trustees to refine and support delivery of The Pixel Fund’s overall vision and strategy, and to be the public face of the charity.The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the charity, currently carried out by a part-time administrator, which position is to be discontinued following the CEO appointment.
We are looking for an individual with experience of working in a leadership role with a board of Trustees, ideally with hands-on experience in grant-making and grant management, including managing a portfolio of live grant-holders.Strong financial and budgetary management skills are also desirable, in particular to reduce the Charity’s reliance on the Voluntary Treasurer.
The Trustees wish to appoint an individual who has a demonstrable understanding of, and commitment to, supporting the mental health and wellbeing of Children and Young People.The role will include upholding the charity’s vision, values and strategic focus, including championing equality, diversity and inclusion across our work.
