Job description

Waverley Abbey College provides part-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Counselling and Spiritual Formation, as well as vocational courses that provide access to our Higher Education provision.

As Assistant Registry and Admissions Officer, you will be a key player within the Waverley Abbey College team. Your role will help us deliver high-quality higher education programmes, courses and conferences.

Working as part of a busy team, you will support the Registry and Admissions team in advising prospective students as they explore training options, updating their records as they move through the admission process, and ensuring entry qualifications are met and supported by the appropriate documents. In addition you will be responsible for producing management reports and the preparation of statutory returns for the Higher Education Statistics Agency to ensure external reporting requirements are met.

To be successful in this vital role, we require you to have experience in the use of databases, spreadsheets and compilation of complex statistical reports, to be able to work accurately (with statistical information and text), and to possess strong communication skills. Knowledge of Student Records systems and an understanding of higher education administration would be really useful.

Waverley Abbey College is part of CWR, a Christian Charity, and you therefore need to be supportive of and in sympathy with our aims and ethos.
