This is an exciting opportunity to join the Business Development Team at Dementia UK, where you’ll play a vital role in managing and expanding Admiral Nursing Services across health and social care settings throughout the UK.
As the Regional Account Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of both new and established Admiral Nurse services. You will help implement, monitor, and ensure they meet quality standards and align with our Common Business Process. Contributing to timely updates and reports on progress against action plans, the development of new services, and identifying any services at risk, particularly within designated areas and restricted funding regions.
In addition, you will represent Dementia UK with key commissioners and stakeholders, influencing local dementia strategies and ensuring that Admiral Nursing remains central to service design, supporting the overall delivery of Dementia UK’s strategy.
To succeed in this role, you will bring substantial experience in partnership development, account management, and project management. You will have a strong background in developing business cases, strategy development, and implementation, along with a focus on continuous quality improvement and innovation. Experience in the health and social care sector is essential, along with a solid understanding of government policies related to older people’s mental health, carers, and dementia.
Whilst this is a remote role, occasional travel across the South West region will be required to attend meetings and engage with key stakeholders and therefore the ideal candidate will be based within this area.

A Diocesan Finances Review was undertaken in 2025 which resulted in several key changes to financial flows between dioceses and the National Church Institutions. The purpose of this role is to design and implement the process changes, operational arrangements and governance necessary to support new ways of working for the NCIs and Dioceses.
The main change relates to the simplification of the administration of funding in relation to ordained ministry training. Dioceses will contribute to a single Ministry Training Fund which will meet the costs of ordained ministry training (fees, accommodation costs, maintenance and travel expenses), with administration carried out by the National Team, to provide a one-stop-shop for ordinands to understand entitlements, apply for grants and claim expenses. The post holder will be responsible for designing and implementing new technology-enabled processes and ways of working to support the efficient and effective operation of the Ministry Training Fund.
£10 million of funding was provided within the national Church of England's spending plans for 2026-28 to enable detailed analysis and planning to be undertaken (including pilot initiatives) focused on addressing structural overheads in the Church, and opportunities to reduce duplication and complexity. This role will enable appropriate governance processes in relation to the allocation and oversight of these monies.
The Spending plans also incorporate savings targets (£4 million + in 2026-28 and £20 million + by 2029-31) in some key areas relating to Bishops and Archbishops' ministry costs and National Church costs. This role will work with the relevant groups charged with delivering those savings, to ensure adequate oversight and monitoring, and report back to key governance bodies on a regular basis.

- This role can be based in either of our office locations: Bishopthorpe in York, or Westminster in London

Key responsibilities
Fundraising and income generation
- Work with Impetus CEO and SMT to support the delivery of the Impetus strategy and business plan and deliver the public affairs milestones to time and within budget.
- Champion and contribute to embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across all areas of Impetus' work, ensuring that EDI principles related to Impetus’ mission are reflected in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, communications and public positioning.
- Vision setting and strong line management of the Public Affairs team, developing their capabilities, representing the team at SMT and to the Board and ensuring it continues to make a valuable - and valued - contribution to the achievement of Impetus’s objectives, through building and implementing high quality work plans for the team and ensuring the wider Impetus team is aligned on these.
- Increase awareness, understanding and trust in Impetus among key stakeholders, through regular, thoughtful engagement with the sector and securing high profile media coverage.

The Senior Grants Manager will take a leading role in delivering The Childhood Trust’s new grant-making strategy. They will manage and evolve our existing grants programmes, while also testing new ideas, trialling different approaches and building strategic partnerships that increase the reach and impact of our work.
This is both a strategic and practical role - the postholder will shape new programmes, manage the full grant cycle and oversee a small team, while working closely with charity partners, funders and colleagues across the organisation to lay the foundations for the future of TCT’s grant-making. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To develop, implement and evaluate the Banter Project youth service in partnership with adopted young people in Northern Ireland. These young people range in age from 14-25 years and live throughout Northern Ireland. The role will primarily work with the project participants, but has additional relationships with community organisations, educational establishments and employers to ensure that all project goals and outcomes are efficiently and effectively met.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To lead the development and delivery of all elements of the Banter Project adopted young people’s service within Northern Ireland in a fun, interactive, interesting and an ability appropriate manner.
- To support the project participants to play an active role in the design and implementation of a programme of monthly activities for adopted young people. Sustaining and developing a monthly social hub, supporting the development of basic life-skills, and preparation for opportunities in further education, training, employment.
- To support a Youth Advisory Group (YAG) in its role to enable adopted young people to steer the Banter Project while developing skills which promote independence, personal development, social and life skills, leadership, and community involvement.
- To organise and supervise the work of the Youth Services Support Worker to deliver the Banter Project.
- To provide opportunities to connect with, and signpost to, relevant services, particularly those who work with care experienced young people.
- To develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation to review individual goals, track progress and impact, via data and analysis of outcomes to assess effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- To record service activity using the electronic data management systems to collate in preparation for reporting and learning opportunities.
- To gather output and outcome data from the Banter Project service in accordance with the quality assurance systems within AUK.
