Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are now recruiting a Team Lead for our Connect to Work IPS service across Kingston and Sutton. This is an opportunity to help shape high-quality IPS delivery and support a team to achieve strong, meaningful outcomes for clients.

What you’ll be doing

If you were working with us, you would be leading a team of six Employment Specialists, providing day-to-day direction, supervision, and practical guidance to ensure excellent IPS practice. You would offer regular one-to-one supervision, in-field mentoring, training, and caseload management support. Your leadership would help the team deliver consistent quality and outcomes across the service.

You would work closely with clinical team leads, contract commissioners, and health partners, maintaining strong and positive relationships to support collaborative, client-led work. You would also contribute to improving performance by identifying challenges, supporting solutions, and modelling excellent IPS practice.

Data analysis and monthly reporting would form part of your responsibilities, ensuring that performance information is accurate, meaningful, and useful. You would work alongside the Operations Manager to monitor progress, address areas for improvement, and maintain high IPS fidelity. While the Operations Manager leads on quarterly reporting, your support and insight would be essential.

Although this is a busy and varied role, you would not be working alone. You would be supported by the Operations Manager and the wider Head Office team, with access to training, guidance, and practical help to enable you and your team to succeed.

What you’ll need

You do not need previous team management experience. Instead, we are looking for:

• Experience as an Employment Specialist or Senior Employment Specialist.

• A proven track record of achieving strong performance in outcomes and quality.

• Confidence demonstrating IPS principles and modelling good practice.

• Experience improving performance or supporting change, whether individually or across a team.

• Advantageous (but not essential): involvement in an IPS fidelity review.

I am urgently seeking an experienced Interim People & Culture Advisor to focus on Change for a not-for-profit organisation based in East London. Reporting to one of the Change People Partners, your key responsibilities include: -

• Providing high quality advice and guidance to managers and staff about change processes through various media such as at meetings or via the People Advice mailbox

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, experience, skills and competencies: -

• Significant experience of supporting managers, staff and people colleagues with organisational change processes gained within a complex work environment

• Strong knowledge of employment law and the experience to apply that knowledge to manage employee relations cases end-to-end and know when to seek support from senior People colleagues or a third party

Our members are looking for an enthusiastic indovidual to join our Network Hope Activities team as staff cover for 9 months.

You will work under the direction of the Project Manager and alongside, tutors to deliver activities, support networks, health and wellbeing and training support to beneficiaries and to recruit, train and support a network of volunteers to facilitate the support groups. 

The role will involve collaboration with other local businesses and third sector organisations to deliver the activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  
 
1. Supporting Tutors, volunteers, senior staff and beneficiaries 
 
Utilising EPM’s resources to lead in locally sourcing beneficiaries and volunteers from the local community. Liaise with the NHS and Social Services, partner providers and schools, colleges, community centres, voluntary organisations and referral agencies. 

· Facilitate and support local support groups, 

· Plan, arrange and run a variety of activities and training programmes. 

· Recruit and support a network of volunteers to co-facilitate support groups and activities 

· Under the direction of The Project Manager conduct home visits to assess the needs of the families and inform them of support available through Network Hope.

This role will sit within the Development Team to support the smooth and efficient operation of the charity. This role will assist in managing financial processes and lead on key people operations to maintain a transparent, inclusive, and positive working environment.

Finance Operations

· Oversee the Operations Officer to reconcile transactions, issue invoices, process payments, and file quarterly Gift Aid claims ensuring accuracy.

· Prepare regular budgets, cash flows, and clear financial reporting for the Senior Leadership Team to support data-driven decision-making.

· Manage STOP THE TRAFFIK’s bank accounts, ensuring the safe handling and ethical investment of reserves.

· Produce quarterly financial papers for the Board of Trustees and lead on the annual audit process, preparing all necessary documentation for external auditors.

BACKGROUND

Ashiana is a ‘by and for’ women led BME VAWG service with 30 years’ experience in delivering a holistic range of specialist services to South Asian, Turkish and Middle Eastern women affected by Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG).

OUR SERVICES

Ashiana runs three refuges with a total of 29 bedspaces; specifically for women aged 16-35 fleeing forced marriage. This multi award winning project is the only service of its kind in the UK and is highly innovative in terms of addressing an area of significant need not met in other refuge provision. Within these refuges we designate a number of bedspaces for women with no recourse to public funds. We offer an advice and support service to women and girls who are experiencing VAWG, enabling them to make informed decisions and exit violent relationships. We provide a legal service supporting women with no recourse to public funds to help resolve their immigration status.

Counselling is offered for women and girls affected by VAWG. The counselling service works from an integrative stance, with the focus of providing a holistic service whereby we also work alongside other services and provide specialist domestic violence group work. The emphasis of therapeutic work with our clients is from a trauma informed model.

We also deliver an education programme for young people in secondary schools in East London aimed at preventing domestic violence and enabling young people experiencing domestic violence to access appropriate services. The prevention service includes delivering a whole school approach in schools to young people as well as group work to women and girls across North East London boroughs as well as community engagement activities and delivery. We deliver a range of awareness raising workshops for young people in the community and training on domestic violence for professionals in the voluntary and statutory sector.

My client, a well known charity, is looking to recruit a permanent business partner to join the team. Based from home, with some travel throughout the year, the role will be to deliver financial data, analysis and support to managers across the business whilst developing and delivering good quality budgeting and forecasting tools which will help provide specialist financial advice for informed decision-making.

Day to day your role will include:

• To be part of all financial planning and business planning cycle activities, to include the annual budget, Medium Term Business Strategy and quarterly rolling forecasts.
• Deliver high-quality financial information on a regular and adhoc basis which may include daily, weekly, monthly cycles
• Transform data into relevant information; identify trends, and deep-dive into variances.

A social housing provider in the London area is looking for an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to support their legal disrepair, complaints and property inspection caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed inspections of residential properties in relation to disrepair, damp, mould, leaks and structural issues

• Produce clear technical reports, schedules of works and evidence for legal cases and pre-action protocol processes

• Assess liability, recommend remedial actions and provide expert professional advice

• Work closely with legal teams, housing officers, contractors and residents

Planned Works Surveyor – Social Housing (6-Month Contract)

Location: London Area

Rate: £350–£400 per day (depending on experience)

A social housing provider in the London area is seeking an experienced Planned Works Surveyor to support the delivery of capital and improvement programmes across its housing stock.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out surveys on residential properties to assess planned maintenance, component replacements and upgrade requirements
• Prepare works specifications, schedules of rates and technical documentation
• Manage contractors, monitor progress and ensure works are completed to agreed standards
• Provide professional advice on building pathology, compliance and asset improvement
• Undertake post-inspections and quality checks, ensuring value for money and resident satisfaction
• Liaise with residents, contractors and internal teams to support programme delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience as a surveyor within social housing or public sector property
• Strong knowledge of planned works, capital programmes and compliance standards
• Understanding of building regulations, health & safety and housing legislation
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work autonomously
• Relevant surveying qualification (HNC/HND, Degree, CIOB, RICS, or equivalent) desirable

About the Role
As Finance Manager, you’ll oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong governance. You’ll manage budgets, forecasts, rent accounting, and reporting to the Board and funders. You’ll also lead a small finance team and collaborate closely with the Director and external accountants to improve systems and drive financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance: income, expenditure, reconciliations, and supplier payments.

• Support the production of management accounts, cashflow reports, and forecasts.

• Lead budgeting and support managers to monitor spending.

• Manage rent accounting, service charges, and housing benefit claims.

• Ensure compliance with Charity Commission, HMRC, Companies House, and funder requirements.

• Line-manage and support two Finance Administrators.

• Improve financial systems and workflows.

About You

• AAT Level 2 minimum or equivalent.

• At least 5 years’ charity finance management experience.

• Experience with rent accounting, service charges, and housing benefit.

• Strong knowledge of Charity SORP, restricted/unrestricted funds, and financial compliance.

• Skilled in staff management and working with external finance providers.

• High attention to detail, organised, and confident working independently.

• Proficient in financial software and Excel.
