We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to deliver services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves three key parts. The first is delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is providing one-to-one support to help Young Carers manage challenges, access services, and prioritise their mental and emotional wellbeing. The third is leading outreach with schools, colleges, community settings and professionals to identify and engage hidden Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups, 5–11 and 12–16, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. Alongside group activities, you will offer one-to-one support to individual Young Carers, ensuring they feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. You will also deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls, and build partnerships in the community to identify and engage Young Carers. 

This is a part-time post (3 days per week). Flexibility is required, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.

The role:

We are seeking a qualified Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services.

I am working with a leading Housing Provider to recruit a Contracts Manager within their Home & Community Maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of contract management across a diverse portfolio, driving performance, compliance and value for money.

The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency and compliance with legislation (PCR2015 & PA23).

• Lead on contract execution, negotiations, monitoring and performance management.

• Develop strong relationships with procurement teams and contractors, ensuring best practice and delivery of social value.

• Take ownership of financial and performance reporting, valuations, final accounts, and contractual advice.

• Provide leadership to a Contracts Coordinator and wider teams, fostering continuous improvement and high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Ensure Health & Safety and CDM regulations are embedded across all contracts.

• Act as the key point of contact for contract disputes, claims and risk management.

About You
We’re looking for someone who has:

• Significant experience managing multiple contracts within housing, construction or a related sector.

• Strong knowledge of contract management frameworks, procurement legislation and best practice.

• Excellent negotiation, financial, and analytical skills.

• Leadership capability, able to guide a specialist team in a high-pressure environment.

• A degree in business, construction, surveying, or related field (RICS/CIOB membership desirable).

• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, ideally with NEBOSH/IOSH.

As Day Centre Manager, you’ll lead a flagship service at the frontline of London’s homelessness response – a hub visited by hundreds each month. You’ll shape how we welcome, assess, and connect people to life-changing support, while driving service improvements that influence best practice across the sector.

About the role

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team– line-manage a Coordinator, Support Worker, volunteers and peer mentors; set clear rotas, coach great practice and keep morale high.
• Oversee the welcome & triage desk – make sure every visitor is greeted, assessed and signposted to the right help without delay.
• Keep the building safe and calm – partner with our on-site hostel, manage incidents professionally and ensure health-and-safety checks never slip.
• Build strong partnerships – schedule outreach agencies, host funder visits and champion the Service User Forum so lived experience drives change.
• Embed a culture of continuous improvement - using data and client feedback to refine services.

Independent Living Advisor - Direct Payments

The Organisation

Action on Disability (AoD), founded in 1979, is one of London’s leading Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations. As we believe in the social model of Disability, our values and principles embrace inclusive and accessible ways of working both internally and in all our activities, seek the participation and contribution of our members, and encourage and respect diversity.

The organisation is a medium sized charity with a Board of Trustees (at least 75% is Disabled trustees), 20 staff and a strong ad hoc staff and volunteer base including many with direct experience of Disability - all of whom are passionate about removing the barriers that Disabled people face.

AoD provides five key services. These are: Youth, Employment, Welfare Benefits, Independent Living and Advocacy.

AoD’s Independent Living Service
The Independent Living Service (Direct Payments) is a new service that will provide support to Direct Payment users within the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The service will enable Disabled people to have genuine choice and control over the way in which they lead their lives. The post-holder will be working alongside disabled people to enable them to have more choice and control over their care and support needs.

The Role

In this role you will be providing essential information, advice and support to individuals from diverse backgrounds. You will work with Disabled clients to empower them to take control of the support they need by using Direct Payments, employing their own staff and accessing activities or services. You will ensure that individuals have the right information to make informed choices and will help them to set up and manage their chosen support.

You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Experience of budgeting and recruitment are essential for this role.

Experience of working in social care is not essential as training will be provided, however a “can-do” attitude, a commitment to a person-centred approach and a willingness to learn is a must. Being part of a small team, there is a lot of opportunity for you to develop and learn new skills.

The work is varied and calls upon a wide range of skills, and there is huge job satisfaction in supporting people to achieve greater wellbeing and independence.
