We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us in the role of People Advisor to play a key role in delivering outstanding HR services across the organisation. The St Mungo’s People, Culture and Inclusion team are looking to achieve a number of ambitious and compelling goals which will have a real impact on colleagues across the organisation. 

You will be joining an enthusiastic team of People Advisors and Business Partners, working with managers across the organisation to provide advice on a broad range of employee relations issues, and generalist HR queries. Key responsibilities in this varied role will include:

• Overseeing a caseload of high, and low risk ER cases within designated regions of the organisation, providing advice and coaching to managers throughout the case management process.
• Providing ongoing advice and guidance to managers, to support them in managing their people well and delivering an effective service.

Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable adults during critical moments in their care journey? As a Hospital Care Navigator, you’ll be a vital part of ensuring patients leave the hospital safely and confidently, with the right support in place.

In this rewarding role, you’ll be the single point of contact for adult patients preparing for discharge from the hospital. You’ll work closely with the Adult Social Care team, health professionals, hospital practitioners, and community services to:

• Identify needs and barriers to safe discharge
• Achieve safe and timely patient discharge
• Coordinate outpatient appointments and follow-up services
• Provide clear, compassionate advice and support to patients and their families
• Ensure patients understand their discharge plan every step of the way.

You’ll meet with patients, their families, friends, or carers to assess ongoing needs, ensuring a safe plan is in place for their return home. This could include ensuring that medication is arranged from the hospital pharmacy, someone is at home to greet them, food and heating are available, and the condition of the home is safe to return to. You may be required to liaise with Adult Social Care and other home providers to coordinate home support. You’ll follow up on calls or visits to ensure the patient is managing well at home. By providing the proper support, patients can be discharged sooner, and the risk of readmission is significantly reduced. 

We’re seeking someone who:

• Has experience working with vulnerable adults in social care, healthcare, or the community/voluntary sector
• Communicates with empathy and confidence across different teams at different levels, and with patients
• Is highly organised, with excellent time management skills
• Has awareness and respect for cultural differences

The School Library Association (SLA) supports approximately 2000 members working in schools across the UK with advice, training and advocacy. The School Library Lead will be at the forefront of our member offer and outreach, to help us deliver on our mission to support all those working in school libraries, so that more children and young people reach their full potential through the school library.   

This role will lead on providing advice, inspiration and support for schools looking to develop their school library provision and all the benefits this brings. An expert in school libraries, you will be comfortable supporting members 1:1, delivering training to larger audiences, providing consultancy to schools and sector organisations, writing training and resources, or preparing book recommendations. An exciting opportunity for someone experienced in school libraries with knowledge of the curriculum, teaching and learning and children’s books, you will be the first port of call for library advice and expertise, contributing to the growth and sustainability of the membership network.

You will be experienced in developing relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels relish a busy role. This will include supporting our Branch network, collaborating on initiatives for development, delivery and new projects as they come online. As resident children’s book expert, you will support with programmes and projects such as the SLA Information Book Award and member book-related events. About the job role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Support Administrator in our First Contact Team at St Joseph’s Hospice. We are looking for someone who has experience in administration and working in a healthcare environment.

The First Contact Team is a dynamic one-stop service that transforms the way patients and referral agencies access the Hospice’s services. An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Administrator to join the First Contact Team. If you are a successful applicant, you will be part of the team that acts as the first point of contact for the Hospice’s services. You will answer telephone calls from people who may be in difficult and stressful situations, provide advice and signpost to other services or agencies. You will also undertake associated administration and data entry.

The service operates 24 hours over seven days a week for advice, whilst referrals will be taken mainly in daytime hours. You will work 37.5 hours every week. Shift patterns will vary, and you will be expected to cover shifts from Monday through Friday, 8.00 am to 9.00 pm, plus occasional weekends according to the rota.

The Role

Pregnant Then Screwed’s Tribunal Mentor Programme is a peer-to-peer support service for women and parents taking legal action against an employer for pregnancy and maternity discrimination. We match mentees with volunteer mentors who have been through the Employment Tribunal process themselves for 12 weeks of support through weekly calls. We relaunched the programme in October 2025, and now, with funding from The National Lottery, we are looking for a part time Support Services Coordinator to help us grow and maintain new mentoring matches. 

As the Support Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting and inducting mentees and volunteers onto the programme and supporting matches throughout their journey. You’ll also drive engagement with the programme, and develop recruitment strategies for potential volunteers and mentees. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the Tribunal Mentor Programme and volunteers. 

• Welcoming new mentee and mentor applicants to the programme through 121 and group calls. 

• Recruitment and engagement of new volunteers and participants. 

• Monitoring our Community WhatsApp groups and responding to enquiries.

• Hosting regularly mentor and mentee online check-ins.

• Researching further support and signposting options for mentees.

• General administrative tasks, including managing volunteer and mentoring data, supporting the Head of Support Services with reporting data and responding to general enquiries.

What We Offer

The Veterinary Adviser will join SPANA’s team of advisers in the Global Animal Health and Welfare Directorate (AHW), which is closely aligned with the Global Programmes Department. Are you passionate about empowering volunteers through learning and development? We’re looking for a Volunteering Development Senior Officer to design, implement, and evaluate effective learning solutions for over 3,000 volunteers and volunteer managers. You’ll play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and improving the impact of volunteering across our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality volunteer learning and development programmes, including induction and training sessions.
• Review and enhance existing learning resources and create new training packages for emerging volunteer roles.
• Collect and analyse data to inform improvements and embed best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and community hubs to ensure consistent delivery of training.
• Provide advice and guidance to staff and volunteers on all aspects of volunteer learning and development.

About You

These are innovative roles to develop social prescribing in the local NHS. Based in one of the six Primary Care Networks (PCN) you will work in different GP practices across that Network to deliver their specific priorities. You will join a team of ten Social Prescribing Link Workers working in Haringey PCNs and be part of a wider community-based Borough team which offers information, signposting and short-term support across the eight localities in Haringey.

Social prescribing empowers people to take control of their health and wellbeing through referral to non-medical Social Prescribing Link Workers, who give time, focus on ‘what matters to me’ and take a holistic approach, connecting people to community groups and statutory services for practical and emotional support.

Social prescribing can help to strengthen community resilience and personal resilience and reduces health inequalities by addressing the wider determinants of health, such as debt, poor housing and physical inactivity, by increasing people’s active involvement with their local communities. It particularly works for people with long-term conditions (including support for mental health), for people who are lonely or isolated, or have complex social needs which affect their wellbeing.
At the centre of the social prescribing process is the Social Prescribing Link Worker, working with GP Practices in a Primary Care Network, who connects patients who are referred to a range of activities and services in the local area depending on their needs, interests and capacity for engagement. This is a complex role as the SPLW will need to have good interpersonal skills to engage with the patient and have a comprehensive knowledge of the services and activities available in the local area.

Salary
The salary for this position is £52,227 per annum. We operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

This is an operational role where you will manage day to day data protection activities including:

• Acting as first point of contact for all data protection queries. 
• Undertaking data impact assessments (DPIAs) across all areas but primarily fundraising. 
• Managing legitimate interest balance test and associated risks. 
• Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders on all data protection and privacy related matters. 
• Assisting with any data breaches.
• Maintaining effective governance across GOSH Charity. 
• Managing the data register.
• Reviewing data protection clauses in contracts.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, with around 300 people diagnosed every day. The Macular Society is the only charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with world class research, and the best advice and support.

To support people affected by macular disease now, the Macular Society provides a range of support, information and services. Our research programme is focused on finding new treatments and a cure to beat macular disease forever.

We’re looking for someone who can lead on community engagement across the North of England – helping to grow and strengthen our local peer support services. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers, develop partnerships, and help us reach more people affected by macular disease.
