The Foundation is seeking a Project Coordinator with experience in the employment/ recruitment sector to lead on delivering our newly launched Training Grounds programme (9-12-month post), in partnership with the EFL Trust and 7x other club community organisations, aimed at supporting young people aged 16 to 24 who are not in employment, education or training into positive outcomes (employment, education or social).

The Project Coordinator will be joining at an exciting time of growth for the Employment and Skills department with the aim of supporting the delivery and evaluation of our newly launched Training Grounds programme. The postholder will lead on community outreach initiatives that aim to recruit 96 or more participants (aged 16 to 24) from Haringey and Enfield over 12 months and support them with life skills geared towards the achieve positive outcomes in education, employment or social attainments conducted through group and 1-2-1 sessions. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the EFL Trust to capture and record the achievement of outcomes and journey progression of participants on the Training Grounds Programme.

About the role

Our new Research and Collaboration Coordinator will play a central role in delivering our mission to support those working to advance equality through the law. Working closely with our Director and Head of Research, you will help us develop and strengthen our partnerships, respond to the needs and demands of our partners and support the development and delivery of a diverse range of research projects and initiatives. • Managing relationships with our global network of equality activists;

Summary of the role:

We are seeking a new Director who will be responsible for working with the Board to:

i) Develop and deliver of DSN-UK's overall strategy and objectives;

We are looking to recruit a part time Older People’s Money Management and Support Coordinator (21 hours/week) to be responsible for providing essential financial guidance, support and advocacy to Customers living in Gateway’s Older Peoples Schemes. Your primary focus will be to help older residents manage their finances, access appropriate benefits, and develop financial literacy skills. We can offer a hybrid working arrangement for this part -time position - you will be able to split your time between working from our office in Mile End and working alongside our residents in our Sheltered schemes in Tower Hamlets.

Your accountabilities will include but not be limited to:

· Working closely with Income/Housing Teams in reviewing pre-eviction cases ensuring appropriate support has been offered prior to action.

· Providing a customer focused service where we help to empower residents to sustain their tenancies, delivering both welfare benefits advice and money guidance support.

· Financial Guidance: Provide expert advice and guidance to older residents on financial matters, including budgeting, debt management, banking, and money-saving strategies.

· Benefits and Entitlements: Assist residents in understanding and accessing relevant benefits, allowances, and grants, providing support with applications, appeals, and assessments.

· Financial and Support Assessments: Conduct comprehensive financial assessments with older individuals to determine their income, expenditure, and financial needs, identifying areas for improvement or intervention.

· Budget Planning: Help residents develop realistic budgets and financial plans, considering their income, expenses, and financial goals, and offering ongoing support to ensure their successful implementation.

· Financial Literacy: Organise workshops, training sessions, or one-on-one coaching to enhance residents' financial literacy skills, empowering them to make informed financial decisions.

· Record-Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and confidential records of financial assessments, support provided, and outcomes achieved, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, and producing reports as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 

· Extensive knowledge of a wide range of benefits (including welfare reform)

· Experience of working in advisory role with the public

· Experience of handling case work and referring to relevant organisations

· Knowledge of completing applications for benefits, grants, appeals and funding.

· Understanding the principals of budgeting for low-income families

· Good understanding of equality and diversity.

· Operate flexible working hours to make sure all customers have access to this service.

· Sound knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting techniques, debt management strategies, and benefits systems in the United Kingdom.

As a Ubele Programme Assistant, you will be a member of the Community Wealth Building hub supporting our Programme Manager with the Agbero2100 London programme by overseeing administrative tasks, communicating with our partners ensuring resource availability for the project team from project inception to completion.

Main duties & Responsibilities

• To act as the first point of contact for the Agbero2100 London programme, responding to and redirecting enquiries as appropriate.
• To co-ordinate the work and meetings of programme stakeholders and partners, including minute taking. 
• To ensure effective and ongoing communications with key stakeholders, maintaining their interest throughout the programme.
• To gather partner agreements, consultancy agreements, contracts and purchase orders, working closely with our finance hub to issue invoices and chase outstanding payments.
• Coordinate the programme information with stakeholders. 
• To manage programme information ensuring all data is stored and shared securely. 
• To organise events and seminars, and to draw together the contributions and outcomes from these events.  Providing support where appropriate.
• To contribute to the coordination of events with the support of Comms including maintaining positive relationships with Comms.
• To support the programme manager in efficiently collecting, relevant data to inform decision-making and enhance project outcomes.
• The Programme Assistant will utilize appropriate tools and techniques to collate data from various project stakeholders, teams, and relevant sources.  Establish a structured approach to capture both qualitative and quantitative data to assess project progress and performance under the instruction of the Programme Manager or Hub Lead.
• Support the Programme Manager in preparing regular and ad-hoc reports. 
• Support the Programme Manager to maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of data collection methods, analysis techniques, and results for project audit and future reference. 
• Adhere to relevant industry standards, legal requirements, and organizational policies related to data privacy, confidentiality, and security.Handle sensitive project data with the utmost integrity and take necessary precautions to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
• To support or manage volunteers and interns. 
• To carry out additional work for the programme as and when required by hub lead.
