In this newly established role of Youth Participation Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting and coordinating participation activities across the organisation, ensuring that young people are meaningfully involved, well-supported, and able to shape decisions and influence our work. Alongside this, you will support the team in launching and delivering an innovative programme created in partnership with our Youth Advisory Board.

Job Description: Fundraising Lead

The Fundraising Lead is both a new business development and relationship management role: you will proactively secure new, high-value philanthropic and corporate partnerships while managing and uplifting existing relationships with foundations, HNWIs, and private sector partners.

You will bring a strong sales and new business mindset, capable of inspiring and influencing senior decision-makers across sectors, while stewarding long-term, strategic partnerships. Hertfordshire Mind Network’s (HMN) Complex Needs and Community Services have rapidly expanded. The services portfolio includes, The Community Support Services, The Domestic Abuse Service, Bounce Back, Complex Needs Housing Service, Flourish (for refugees and asylum seekers), Primary Care Network Service, Peer Support, Wellbeing Services and our newest services at The Sadie Centre. About You and the Role

The Mental Health Administrator will be a key member of the Complex Needs and Community services, providing effective administrative support to the team, ensuring accurate and effective policies, communication and procedures are in place.

Key responsibilities

• To support the Complex Needs and Community teams to process referrals and make 72-hour initial referral phone calls
• To be the first point of contact for HMN callers via telephone, email and in person – providing high quality service to every person
• To undertake responsibility for admin duties for the Complex Needs and Community teams, including the processing of mail, responding to internal/external e-mails, word processing, entering accurate statistics, sending out reminders, staff training audits, record keeping audits, diary management and letter writing.

About the role

As a Housing First Coach you will deliver high quality person-centred support, using psychologically and trauma informed approaches, in line with Housing First principles. You will take a bold approach to establishing open and trusting relationships with people who have had long histories of homelessness or in temporary/insecure accommodation, enabling them to access and sustain accommodation and empower them to exercise choice and control over their lives. The team is multi-disciplinary – Coaches, Peer Support Worker, Clinical Psychologist – which allows us to collaboratively formulate innovative approaches to support. The team operates across London, providing numerous opportunities to build impactful partnerships and contribute towards systems change. 

About you

· To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter, flexible and have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team and with internal and external partners. 

· You may have a background in housing/homelessness support, adult safeguarding, drug or alcohol recovery services or mental health and have significant experience of working within a multidisciplinary setting with the ability to create strong professional relationships and creative solutions. 

· You will have experience of working with people who have faced severe and multiple exclusion and who may be considered to have ‘complex needs’, with an understanding of the needs of people who have been homeless for long periods of time.

· You will be willing and able to provide practical assistance with moving into and maintaining a home – including direct help where necessary with tasks such as shopping, budgeting, cooking, and cleaning. 

· You will also have a knowledge of Housing First and housing led approaches and the ability to work within a psychologically informed approach.

About the role

The Finance Business Partner provides professional financial insight and operational support to non-finance teams, ensuring resources are planned, monitored, and reported effectively in line with the Refugee Council’s mission and statutory obligations.

Reporting to the Finance Controller, the postholder partners with departments such as Fundraising, People & Culture, and Services to translate financial information into clear, actionable guidance. They lead on budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for their portfolio, support grant and fund management, and build financial capability across the organisation, enabling managers to make informed, compliant, and value for money decisions.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Building strong relationships with supporters, volunteers, local businesses, and community groups across West/South-West England. 
• Supporting individuals, groups, and organisations to plan and deliver successful fundraising activities—offering guidance, encouragement, and celebrating their achievements. 
• Identifying new opportunities to grow income and engagement in your region, including partnerships with local trusts and businesses. 
• Ensuring excellent stewardship by providing consistent, friendly, and professional support throughout each fundraising journey. 
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to contribute to regional fundraising strategies and develop innovative approaches to community fundraising. 
• Representing the MS Society at local events and meetings, raising awareness and inspiring people to get involved. 
• Required to travel throughout the region which will include the geographical areas of  Shrewsbury and Telford, Hereford, Worcester, Cheltenham, Bristol, Swindon, Bath, Exeter, Plymouth and Bournemouth.  Regions can be amended to meet business needs.

• A confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people and building lasting relationships. 
• Someone proactive, organised, and motivated to achieve targets and outcomes. 
• Experience in fundraising is welcome—but not essential. If you’ve worked in sales, community outreach, or any role where you’ve inspired and supported others, we’d love to hear from you. 
• A full driving licence is essential, as you’ll be out and about in your region.
