We’re Seen Sisters - an intersectional feminist collective of solo women with invisible disabilities. We’re working to build joyful, connective spaces for our community, and we’re looking for volunteer fundraising/bid writers to help bring our mission to life.

This is a voluntary role for now, but we're actively seeking funding and would be happy to explore including your role in future bids.

What this volunteer role involves:

• Researching funding opportunities and helping us track them

• Writing funding applications that reflect our mission, values, and deep listening approach

• Prioritising upcoming deadlines with support from the team

• Collaborating with other fundraising partners or members where needed

You might be a good fit if you:

• Are curious, empathetic, and values-aligned

• Can meet us where we’re at and help translate our story into compelling funding language

• Believe in joy, connection, and collective care

• Have experience in grant writing, fundraising or storytelling

• Can commit about 1 day a week (ideally Monday or Thursday – flexible)

A few practicals:

• We work remotely and use a shared Drive

• Allies and those with lived experience are warmly welcomed

• We do regular check-ins on capacity, access and preferences

The Witness Service provides practical and emotional support and information to witnesses so that they feel valued, respected and informed and able to give their best evidence in court.
The role involves providing support to witnesses, and their supporters, by explaining the court procedures and legal terminology, showing them
around the courtroom before trial and sitting in the courtroom with them, when permitted.
Our volunteers come from a range of backgrounds and we particularly welcome applications from people with physical or mental health conditions, and people from Black Asian Minority Ethnic (Global Majority) and LGBTQIA+ communities. 
We are committed to offering a welcoming and inclusive environment to witnesses, staff, and volunteers.
Please be aware that courts vary in terms of accessibility and provision and are under the control of HMCTS. We will strive at every opportunity to
support accessibility needs where resources allow.

Family Friends carefully recruit, train, and match volunteers with families in Central-West London. Our volunteer befrienders offer practical and emotional support based on each family's unique needs and potential. We offer two volunteer opportunities - Big Buddies and Parent Buddies.

Volunteers will aim to help parents to discover their strengths, build confidence, and resolve difficulties. Volunteers meet with their match weekly for a period of 6 -12 months.

Activities might include:

• Supporting a parent to take their children on days out.
• Helping to strengthen family relationships.
• Providing a listening ear.
• Helping parents to build confidence in themselves.

Essential Criteria:

• You must be able to commit to the Parent Buddy programme for a minimum of 6 months.
• 18+
• Must have lived in the UK for the last 2 years

What we provide in return:

• DBS check
• Weekly supervision and support
• The chance to learn new skills
• References provided after 6 months' commitment
• Reimbursement of travel and session expenses

What is the plan?

The person who is starting the charity up is autistic, has ADHD, CPTSD and also multiple physical conditions that effect daily life and is part of the LGBTQ+ community and has faced a lot of issues in life because of these things.

Living Reasons is being created to fix what we think is a challenging situation that is getting harder to achieve every week, month and year in the current economic, political, environmental and societal landscape. It is not easily defined but we hope the charity objects below will help put context to what we want to achieve, what we can say is that below are the issues we are trying to address, how we do this will change as quickly as society does, but the issues we want to tackle are these:

3) Limited employment, training and education opportunities

4) Lack of support during times of crisis or need

Sarcoidosis is a rare inflammatory disease which mostly affects the lungs, although other parts of the body such as the heart, eyes and nervous system can also be involved. It is not properly understood and there is currently no known cure.

SarcoidosisUK is a small charity with big ambitions! We want to make a difference to the lives of those affected by sarcoidosis in the UK by providing information and support, raising awareness and undertaking research into treatments and a cure.  We currently support over 9,000 people online and have strong relationships with both clinicians and patients.

We want to enlarge and strengthen our Trustee Board with the recruitment of new trustees who will bring their skills and passion to the work we do. The Trustee Board sets strategic direction for the charity, acts as guardian of our vision and values, and has responsibility for oversight and governance. 

We want our Trustee Board to represent our community, and welcome applications from anyone with an interest in sarcoidosis. To support the growth of the charity we are particularly looking for experience in the following areas:

· Fundraising in the charity sector

· Branding, marketing and communications

· Strategic development

· Community support and engagement

The Board is friendly and informal and meets online early evening each month for no more than 2 hours. We have a small staff team, currently 3 in number, and therefore Trustees may be asked to provide direct input and expertise on occasion. The role is not remunerated,  however expenses are reimbursed.

About Trans Celebration

Trans Celebration is a trans-led grassroots organisation based in the UK, dedicated to uplifting trans and gender-diverse communities through celebration, advocacy, and education. Our monthly campaigns use creative media like fashion, beauty, and the arts to highlight gender diversity and improve visibility, inclusion, and access to resources.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and strategic SEO Specialist Volunteer to help optimise our online presence and ensure our campaigns and content reach the communities that need them most.

Job Summary

The SEO Specialist Volunteer will play a key role in enhancing the visibility and searchability of Trans Celebration’s website and digital content. This volunteer will work alongside the marketing team to implement SEO best practices, conduct keyword research, improve site structure, and analyse web performance—all to ensure our content reaches a broader audience and amplifies trans voices online.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research to inform website content and campaign strategies.

• Optimise existing content for improved search engine ranking (meta tags, headers, alt text, etc.).

• Monitor and analyse SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.

• Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with web/content teams to resolve them.

• Assist in developing backlink strategies and improving domain authority.

• Support the content team in creating SEO-optimised blogs and pages.

• Provide monthly reports on SEO performance and suggest improvements.

• Stay up to date with SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and emerging best practices.

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Competencies:

• Understanding of SEO principles and search engine algorithms.

• Experience using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Moz, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.

• Ability to perform keyword research and competitor analysis.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and content management systems (especially WordPress).

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Solid written communication and reporting skills.

Bonus Experience (Not Required):

• Previous experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or technical SEO.

• Familiarity with accessibility best practices and inclusive web design.

We're growing our creative team and looking for a passionate Graphic Design Volunteer to help us tell our story visually and make a meaningful impact through design.

Job Summary

The Graphic Design Volunteer will play a key role in supporting our marketing and communications team by producing high-quality digital and print content. You’ll contribute to everything from social media visuals and web graphics to campaign logos and video editing. If you’re creative, detail-oriented, and excited about trans empowerment, this is a great opportunity to build your portfolio while supporting a vital cause.

Key Responsibilities

• Design graphics and visual assets for use across print, web, and social platforms.

• Assist with maintaining and updating our website and blog (WordPress).

• Help develop and adapt branding materials, including logos and campaign identities.

• Collaborate on creative assets for events, awareness campaigns, and fundraising initiatives.

• Support the creation and editing of short-form video content.

• Maintain version control on design collateral.

• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute to the visual direction of campaigns.

We will be opening with a beautiful new look and are now seeking an amazing volunteer team to support us as we prepare for our grand opening.

We’re passionate about what we do, and love giving second-hand clothing a chance of going to a good home. Our shop teams are key to raising vital funds for our work and act as incredible advocates for the rights of children both in the UK and around the world.

Please note that this is a voluntary, unpaid role, based in the UK. We are unfortunately not able to provide support with visa requests. Candidates must be over 18 to apply.

Volunteering in the shop

Our Lymington Shop Volunteers will be in the middle of it all, and there’s plenty to get involved with. You might be sorting and pricing stock, engaging with customers, ringing items through the till, creating fantastic window displays or keeping our shop floor looking organised.

It’s up to you how much you commit. We have volunteers who support for a couple of hours a week and some do more. Many people volunteer either a morning or an afternoon each week - this is something that will be discussed at the selection stage, after you’ve applied.

Skills and experiences we seek

We welcome applications from people with a wide range of skills and experiences. You don’t need any retail or shop experience as full training will be provided. What’s important to us is that you are a team player, open to learning and to follow our policies as well as be an excellent representative for Save the Children.

We know that our shop teams are stronger when they are inclusive and representative of their communities. Everybody can make a real difference. People come to us for all sorts of reasons, from all backgrounds, and we will do what we can to find a role that works for you.

What happens next?

After you’ve filled in an application, we will invite you for an informal trial shift. It’s a great opportunity to visit the shop, meet some of our existing volunteers and have a go at some of the tasks that you would be supporting with as a shop volunteer. Hopefully allowing you to get a feel for the role and make sure it’s for you. We also ask for a couple of references (these don’t have to be formal workplace ones, just someone who has known you for over 6 months and isn’t related).
