About the Role
You will work directly with children and young people providing advocacy and other children’s rights support which will empower and support them to navigate the care system. This direct work will include issues based advocacy support for children in need, looked after children and care leavers, as well as children subject to the Child Protection process.
You will be a capable ambassador for Coram Voice with the ability to engage effectively with professionals, foster carers, commissioners, other stakeholders and most importantly children and young people.
Coram Voice particularly welcomes applications from care leavers or individuals with experience of being ‘looked after’ by the state. City Hearts are currently recruiting for an Outreach Caseworker to work within the Anti-Trafficking Team of the organisation. This role will require the successful candidate to casework the Survivors of Modern Slavery in the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) and women with life-controlling issues in their rest and reflection period before moving on to support the Staff of City Hearts; to ensure all standards for City Hearts are upheld to a high standard.
City Hearts was founded in 2005 with a mandate to fully restore those with a history of vulnerability and exploitation. We began with a single home to help women with life controlling issues and shortly after welcomed our first survivor of Modern Slavery. Since then we have expanded dramatically across multiple regions and now provide accommodation and outreach support to hundreds of survivors of modern slavery every year, as well as continuing to house and support women with life-controlling issues.
The Role:
- Caseworking individual PVOHT (Potential Victims of Human Trafficking);
- Regular feedback and review meetings with Outreach Coordinator;
- Arranging and attending appointments for individual;
- Following up all the paperwork and details of VOHT in adherence to the terms of the contract; including on line reporting. Including, weekly reviews, daily logs and inductions.

The purpose of the Welfare Advisor role is to work within the holistic rehabilitation model of Freedom from Torture and provide welfare advice and advocacy to survivors of torture living in North West. Our Head of Institutional Funding will lead our Institutional Funding division at Human Appeal, which currently consists of 2 team members at Officer and Assistant level. This role will support the organisation’s growth through proactive management of institutional funding and strategic partnerships across Human Appeal’s key countries of work in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, ultimately maximising the charity’s funding opportunities.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Head of Institutional Funding:
- Develop an Institutional Funding strategy for Human Appeal, ensuring priorities are in-line with the charity’s global strategy
- Maintain existing and identify and achieve new Institutional Funding opportunities to reach and exceed income generation targets
- Ensure donor-mapping is updated, utilizing HA systems (e.g. Salesforce) to record prospect recommendations and approaches

- Write and oversee the preparation of Donor Feedback Reports to effectively communicate the results of projects to institutional donors
- Ensure frameworks and legal contracts describing and defining funding relationships and partnerships comply with HMRC, charity law and fundraising best practice
-Provide effective performance management to the Institutional Funding department in the UK, and provide training and support to Field Office staff to build each office’s capacity to write proposals and acquire funds from donors

We are looking for an experienced administrator to provide sabbatical cover for the NW Clinical Service. The Clinical Service provides psychological therapies for adults as well as children, young people and families. The role involves providing administrative support from the referral point up to the completion of treatment, including processing and responding to referrals for therapy, communicating effectively with referrers, survivors and other agencies, and providing administrative support to the clinical staff and volunteers. Experience of administrative work within a mental health and/or clinical setting is essential.

The Witness Service has nearly 300 staff and 3000 volunteers and offers free, independent, impartial and confidential support and information to 15,000 witnesses each month to give evidence in every criminal court in England and Wales. The Citizens Advice Witness Service provides a vital service offering free and independent support for witnesses in every criminal court across England and Wales.
The role

The Team Leader (Volunteer Development) is responsible for volunteer development and engagement within a specific geographical area. This includes:
