Supporter Engagement is one of the most important teams that is central to the success of Alzheimer’s Society. The function of the team is to manage multi-channel communications with our supporters, both inbound and outbound. The team manage emails, telephone calls and social media interactions and is part of the wider Supporter Experience Department.

About the role
This new role within the newly formed Brand and Marketing Communications team will play a key role in our in-house creative studio, creating engaging and inspiring content. The successful candidate will develop creative concepts and bring them to life through innovative and inclusive design across multiple channels.
You will join our growing Brand and Marketing Communications team and work collaboratively with our in-house brand and digital teams as well as the wider organisation.
Most importantly you’ll champion our work and raise the voices of children, young people and their families living with cancer to ensure they get the support they need.

The Orchard Project brings orchards into the heart of urban communities, along with the many benefits they provide: environmental, physical, mental, social, and educational. They are the only national charity dedicated to the creation, restoration and celebration of community orchards.

About the role.
As Head of Fundraising and a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll work closely with the CEO to devise the organisation’s fundraising strategy as they enter a positive and ambitious new five-year plan.
There is a very well-established trust and foundation fundraising programme, which you’ll work to continue and expand, building on existing relationships and spotting opportunities to create new partnerships with relevant funders. Using creativity, you will secure multiyear unrestricted six-figure grants from an array of grantmakers as you continue the diversification of this income stream.
The charity is continuing the expansion of its fundraising strategy to incorporate new income streams, a project you’ll spearhead with the launch of digital fundraising. Key responsibilities

We are seeking a Fundraiser with a background in lead and income generation with the drive to create change for farmed animals in the UK. You will be part of a small, high-impact team specialising in consumer education and political advocacy to help us grow our supporter base and raise essential income to support our work for animals.
As Fundraiser (Lead Generator), you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by identifying and cultivating potential donors and supporters. Our Membership Engagement Team provide support, advice and guidance to ensure that our members can continue to be the force for good in their communities. Through strong relationships with our members, the Branches and the County Committees, the Team facilitates the sharing of great practice and ensure that the membership remain compliant. The Membership engagement officers (MEO) are actively engaged within their areas, meeting Branch members, supporting their activities and building a stronger membership fit for the next 100 years.

The Membership Engagement Officer (MEO) is a key role which inspires and engages our membership to be active and fulfil their role and purpose while remaining compliant with the Legion’s Membership handbook and policies. We are looking for an effective, diligent multi-tasker with excellent customer service and communication skills who can both support and challenge.
The MEO provides organisational support, advice and information to our members, and works closely with County Committees, membership central team staff and other departments. This a varied role which covers a range of duties from connecting and building relationships with Branches to compliance oversight and responding to membership queries.

You will be contracted to your home address. We’re recruiting experienced Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to join our WithYou NHS Talking Therapies service in Kent to provide high volume low intensity interventions based on self management interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, deliver computerised CBT through Silvercloud and carrying out patient centred assessments. To apply for this role, you should have, or be soon to complete training in CBT based low intensity interventions and hold BABCP or BPS accreditation (or eligibility towards obtaining the Accreditation). We are looking for an individual with previous experience of carrying out assessments related to mental health and working with clients experiencing anxiety and depression, in a Talking Therapies service.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Retention
- Administer the recruitment process by placing job adverts into the template on Canva, removing expired job adverts from the THET website; downloading applications; setting up interviews
- Update staff induction materials
- Update the Organisational Organogram on a monthly basis
- Update staff profiles on the THET website
- Maintain internal HR email/In-box
- Ensure new starters are added to the relevant induction meetings and staff meetings
Development & Performance
- Provide induction and refresher training to staff and volunteers on international travel
- Monitor implementation of staff training and development plans
Policies and procedures
- Follow THET policies and procedures, flagging any issues arising
- Update control sheet for policy review dates and maintain version control numbers for policies and forms
Administration
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and SMT
- Update and maintain the Activ absence system: – Create user accounts for new staff/ archive leavers; monitor staff absences
- Administer travel arrangements within the UK and overseas for senior managers
- Oversee and improve standard operating procedures and forms
- Support the HR & Operations Manager with administration of new and current consultants, volunteers, and interns (recruitment, contract reviews, induction, and compliance training schedules)
Operational Support
- Coordinate the procurement process for items and services including approvals, advertising, tender process, preferred supplier contracts, communication to parties
- Undertake office management tasks including responding to THET mail/ calls; arranging and servicing office meetings; maintaining email distribution lists and email accounts
- Facilitate the purchasing of staff IT and other work equipment in line with budget
- Activate email accounts; coordinate laptops for new staff/leavers; open and close IT accounts for starters, and deactivate these for leavers
- Act as the main point of contact for the outsourced IT supplier.
Health and wellbeing
- Prompt Country Directors to ensure Country risk registers are up-to-date and evacuation/hibernation plans exist
