The role

• Host 2 monthly episodes (30 minutes) featuring changemakers, innovators, thought leaders, experts, in the field of climate and sustainability - organisations and individuals from civil society, academia, governments and businesses.
• Research potential guests across key sustainability sectors covering climate education, climate action, climate solutions, finance, environment and natural resources, social justice and more.
• Prepare and conduct research-based, engaging interviews.
• Send personalised guest invitations in liaison with the production team. 
• Edit your episodes and storyboard in line with the episodes' narrative.
• Help share and promote episodes through all online platforms.

Whispaws Animal Sanctuary is a UK-based charity dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned dogs and cats in Serbia. We provide veterinary care, rehabilitation, and adoption opportunities, and run sterilisation campaigns to reduce the street dog population. Our work also includes a street feeding campaign, ensuring that abandoned animals living outdoors receive regular food and care.

We are a small but passionate team, committed to improving animal welfare through hands-on rescue work, community outreach, and fundraising.

The Role

We are looking for reliable, proactive volunteers to join our team and support us with general administration, social media, and fundraising. You may choose to help in one area or across several, depending on your skills, interests, and availability. The work can be done remotely, although if you are based near Sevenoaks, Blackheath, or Chislehurst, there are opportunities to join our in-person fundraising events.

Our amazing Activity Volunteers play a key role in supporting blind children and young people to take part in a variety of activities. The skills you have developed in your career and personal life will be invaluable to our young people.

What we are doing, we feel is new and grabbing those opportunities.

With this in mind, we want people who have a specialist interest, experience in or want to learn more about one of more of the areas the Living Reasons will be working in and confidently host lives on social media or in our currently being built website option for video drop in live sessions that are two way conversations with people.

This role will mean having to deal with challenging members of the public, there will always be moderators to ensure the people taking part in the live session remain respectful but there may be the need to respectfully challenge people's opinions in an attempt to educate.

People may want to use the online service of a food bank for many reasons, whether due to disability or not. 

The role of Project Co-ordinator role will oversee this project with guidance and input from the trustees, lived experience board members and with the support of other co-ordinators that are relevant to the outreach, funding and running of the service.

This will be achieved by advising Ygam on the needs of students, supporting with content development, organising activities at your campus, and join us at events to raise awareness of gaming and gambling harms.

We are seeking individuals who are outgoing, with a confident personality. You will enjoy engaging with other students and be able to advise us on the experiences of students with regards to gaming and gambling.We’d love to hear from students with an interest in mental health, psychology, content development, and gaming.

Action for Refugees in Lewisham works to relieve poverty and isolation amongst refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrants in Lewisham. At the Rainbow Club supplementary school we aim to help children between the ages of 4 and 11 to improve their literacy, numeracy and social skills in a friendly and supportive environment.  We need your skills and enthusiasm to assist the teacher in the delivery of a literacy and numeracy class and work with other volunteers to develop a programme of recreational activities. The Rainbow Club runs on Saturday mornings during term-time.

Your duties will include:

• Arriving punctually for the 9am briefing by the Rainbow Club Headteacher;
• Working in a team with other volunteers and teachers to deliver literacy, numeracy, arts, sport activities – this includes ensuring children remain engaged throughout the lesson and carry out set tasks as instructed by the teacher;
• Working one-to-one with specific children if and when required;
• Filing classroom work and homework in children’s individual files and keeping all materials and resources tidy and properly stored;
• Liaising with parents as and when required for example distributing leaflets and news about future meetings and events and also assisting with parents' day;
• Following the teacher’s policies on discipline and classroom management;
• Supervising the children during break times;
• Supporting the children during class trips;
• Ensuring classrooms are clean and tidy at the end of each day – this may include being part of a regular team rota;
• Providing feedback and comments to the Rainbow Club Headteacher when required.

We are recruiting new Trustees

Several of our Trustees will soon complete their second three-year term. We are therefore building a pipeline of new Trustees to join the Board over a managed transition period over the next year. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in: 

• charitable fundraising (e.g. cultivating high-net-worth donors or running successful online small-donor campaigns); or
• digital communications and engagement (especially through social media); or
• building stakeholder partnerships (e.g. securing sponsorships for events or projects).

Previous Board experience is not essential. However, candidates must be able to make the necessary time commitment

The University Coordinator role exists to help bridge the gap between our central and regional teams. This mentorship-focused position involves working 1:1 with regional team leads, offering guidance, encouragement, and practical support as they build their teams and deliver impactful fundraising and awareness raising campaigns on campus. Working collaboratively, you’ll help them pursue ambitious goals while ensuring their work reflects SolidariTee’s values and vision. This role requires reliable commitment to 2-3h of calls per week and willingness to provide additional support to team leads outside of weekly calls.

Key responsibilities: 

• Work closely with team leads from 4–6 regional teams through weekly calls and ongoing support.
• Provide practical support and advice in organising events and building each team. 
• Assist with recruitment by conducting interviews with prospective team leads. 
• Engage in training and development opportunities designed to support you in the role.

Desirable Criteria:

• Strong time management and organisational skills, ensuring reliability and follow-through on commitments. 
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others to problem-solve, alongside the initiative to seek out answers independently. 
• An understanding of the values and vision of SolidariTee. 
• Experience in project management or active involvement in a university society or similar initiative.

Middlesex Students’ Union (MDXSU) is looking for three new Trustees, including a new Chair of the Board, to join our vibrant and values-driven organisation.

About the Role

We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about education, social justice, and the power of student-led change. As a Trustee, you’ll help shape MDXSU’s strategic direction, scrutinise finances, and ensure we’re fulfilling our charitable purpose.

Time Commitment & Expenses

• Approx. 5 board meetings per year (in-person in London)
• Optional involvement in sub-committees (4 additional online meetings annually)
• Occasional away days or events
• All reasonable expenses covered, with travel and accommodation booked by MDXSU
