Job description

Do you share our passion of hearing and then sharing transformative stories? Have you seen the difference that sharing experiences, providing platforms and opening doors can make?

We believe that London South Bank University’s (LSBU) alumni and supporter community are uniquely placed to help students and recent graduates go further in whatever their chosen field.

We are looking for an experienced communications officer who can draw on the inspiring and diverse lives of our students and alumni and craft campaigns to mobilise an active community of alumni and supporters to remain connected to LSBU and donate time or financially support.

You’ll be driven by creating engaging content that offers knowledge, inspiration and provides different perspectives for our audiences. To maximise reach to our community you’ll deliver content across a breadth of communications channels. You will work alongside colleagues across the university who share this view that offering volunteering opportunities, employability services and events are important in building strong relationships with supporters, alumni and students.

This role is temporarily remote but would suit a social, friendly, creative and open-minded individual who takes a clear and direct approach to communication.

Our work has impact. It gives hope, changes lives, builds communities and strengthens society and we will keep working until the playing field is level for everyone. By joining our team, you have the power to help our students thrive and create opportunities for people who might not otherwise have them.
