The Survivor Engagement and Activism Coordinator leads the Helen Bamber Foundation’s work to ensure that survivors of trafficking, torture, and human rights abuses are meaningfully involved in shaping services, influencing policy, and driving social change. Working within the Community and Integration team, the post holder safeguards and supports clients as they participate in advocacy, leadership, and organisational development projects.
They oversee key survivor engagement programmes, including the Ambassadors for Change advocacy and leadership programme, the Client Voices Forum, the Board Advisers, and the Alumni Network. This involves coordinating training, facilitating meetings, supporting campaigns, managing administrative processes, and ensuring survivors are prepared, empowered, and safe throughout their involvement.
The role also involves developing innovative ways for survivors to collaborate with staff, contributing to service design, organisational strategy, and sector-wide initiatives. The post holder builds relationships across the asylum and modern slavery sectors, manages lived experience opportunities, and may support client progression and education casework when needed.
Throughout all responsibilities, the Coordinator champions survivor leadership, promotes diversity and inclusion, maintains the ethos of the charity, and practices strong self-care while working with traumatic material.

Role Overview
The Donor Relations Officer will be responsible for crafting compelling, donor-centred communications that strengthen long-term relationships with partners and supporters, deepen engagement and inspire giving. One of the main areas of responsibility will be to produce proposals and reports for stakeholders, especially strategic partners and donors. The postholder will work closely with the other members of the Marketing and Communications team, as well as collaborating with other departments within the college. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of producing copy for fundraising and donor relations purposes, and will be a skilled storyteller who can translate the strategic objectives of the college into resonant narratives, understands donor motivations, and writes with clarity, empathy, and purpose.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Stewardship Writing
- Develop persuasive and high-quality copy for multi-channel fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, website, social media etc.)
- Write impact reports and stewardship letters that convey gratitude and demonstrate impact.
- Create case statements, proposals, and presentations for major donor and foundation audiences.
- Oversee the ongoing use of Donorfy CRM to ensure it functions in a way that optimises ANCC's efficiency and makes full use of its functionality; carry out system integrations as needed.
Storytelling & Content Development
- Interview students, alumni, partners, staff and donors to develop authentic, mission-driven stories.
- Adapt organizational content for various donor segments, ensuring a consistent voice and message.
- Collaborate within the Marketing & Communications team to pair copy with strong visuals, and input to other priority projects as required.
Editing & Quality Control
- Proofread and edit donor communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the college ethos and brand guidelines.
- Maintain a consistent, donor-focused tone across all written materials.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with the members of the Marketing & Communications team to align donor messaging with campaign goals.
- Collaborate with other teams across the college including the Academic, Training and Finance Teams.
- Contribute to the development of content calendars and communication strategies.
- Track and analyse response rates and engagement to inform future copy.
· Fully participate in All Nations community activities when possible.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years’ professional writing experience, preferably in donor relations and fundraising communications.
- Proven ability to write clear, compelling, and engaging copy and marketing materials for diverse audiences.
- Strong interviewing, research, and storytelling skills.
- Excellent editing and proofreading abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with donor stewardship best practices and fundraising language.
- Experience of producing and tracking fundraising campaigns, tracking impact, reporting and lesson learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and engage cross-culturally.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team and wider organisational departments.
- Experience with CRM or donor database systems.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of direct response fundraising principles.
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital content best practices, and awareness of upcoming trends and changes in the sector, including best use of AI.
- Experience of working with Canva and other document editing software which pair visuals with text.

Role Overview and Main Responsibilities
One of the main areas of this role is to improve the Digital Marketing systems of the college. This involves managing multiple projects and supervising other team members within their roles. The postholder will also work alongside the CEO to develop and implement a new marketing strategy to enable ANCC to achieve its vision and mission globally. This will include shaping the Marketing and Communications team to support the stakeholder journey for students, partners and donors.
- Enhancing the digital systems of the college for the purposes of marketing
- Work collaboratively with the CEO and Marketing & Communications team to ensure new marketing assets are designed and produced for optimal results
· Generating leads for new applicants, students, partners and donations to the college, optimising our efficiency, and maximising opportunities for engagement.
- Manage the website development project which includes the improvement of the college website for marketing purposes, and improving the User Experience (UXP) ensuring that it is optimised for search engines
- Manage team members for the maintenance and development of the college’s website, SEO, user journey experience, and website assets
- Support and collaborate with the Social Media officer to ensure digital marketing across our platforms, including LinkedIn for digital community engagement.
- Monitor and review performance of digital marketing channels for analytical reporting and making recommendations for improvement.
- Email marketing across stakeholder groups to support recruitment and engagement for the college. This includes the management of Mailchimp and ensuring Donorfy data is up to date.
- Direct marketing to students and partners for college courses, training options, collaborative design, delivery and lifelong learning. This may include digital marketing via website, social media, email, content marketing, print marketing and campaigns.
- Developing a digital marketing campaigns calendar and system for use within the team including the implementation of campaign briefs and tracking of campaigns across ANCC products
- Play an active role within the team to help at promotional events, including national exhibitions and conferences, at the college and elsewhere
- Assist the team with organising college open days and other promotional events (graduations, multicultural evenings, carols at Easneye etc).
- Work creatively with the team to continue to develop strong relationships with ANCC alumni through digital communications, and maximising opportunities for engagement

ABOUT THE CLINK CHARITY
The Clink Charity, founded in 2009, aims to prevent and reduce reoffending through training, rehabilitation and support. We deliver hospitality and horticulture training behind prison walls and in the community, creating an environment where students gain skills, confidence and qualifications to rebuild their lives.
We have trained approximately 5,000 people in prison and delivered 2,600 City & Guilds qualifications across hospitality and food courses.
A unique part of The Clink is our post-release support and mentoring programme, supporting individuals with health and mental health needs, housing, employment, family connections and friendships.
The charity operates a fine-dining restaurant inside HMP Brixton, training kitchens across the prison estate, horticulture projects at HMP Send and HMP Erlestoke, a commercial bakery in Brixton, and a bespoke delivery service, Catered by Clink.
Clink Events is our social enterprise catering business, with food produced by women in HMP Downview and an additional kitchen in Herne Hill. Alumni provide front-of-house service at major London venues including the Guildhall, Science Museum, Cutty Sark, Kew Gardens and the Camden Roundhouse. In 2024, across 218 events, The Clink served 36,000 people.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for financial management, including strategic planning, reporting, budgeting, systems and controls.
- Responsibility for IT, HR, premises, lettings and administration.
- Active member of the senior leadership team, working with colleagues and the Board of Trustees.
- Promote the Charity’s ethos and support charity initiatives and policies.
Financial Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the financial strategy and conduct financial modelling for strategic decision-making.
- Lead all financial procedures and reporting, including monthly budget monitoring, management accounts and annual accounts.
- Maintain financial controls, standards and systems.
- Prepare and maintain budgets, financial plans and forecasts.
- Provide information for financial returns, bids and grant claims.
- Maintain the Asset Register and Risk Register.
- Negotiate, manage and monitor tenders, contracts, licences and service agreements.
- Act as cost centre manager for designated budget areas.
- Advise staff on financial matters.
- Manage key charity resources such as printers, transport and other significant assets.
HR Responsibilities
- In liaison with HR Managed Services (Solution22), oversee an effective HR function covering recruitment, induction, training, payroll, pensions, performance, retention and wellbeing.
- Ensure the CEO and leadership team have access to HR advice and data.
- Oversee policies and procedures and ensure the Handbook is updated in line with legislation.
Premises Management
- Lead responsibility for the Head Office site, including maintenance and development.
- Report to the CEO and Trustees on premises issues and recommend repairs or capital works.
- Liaise with contractors regarding building maintenance.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement savings.
- Prepare an annual maintenance plan and capital work forecasts.
- Manage income from facility lettings and other revenue sources.
- Manage the premises budget and ensure value for money.
Health and Safety
- Act as Health and Safety Officer and ensure compliance with all legislation and procedures.
- Prepare and update the emergency plan and risk analysis.
- Conduct regular health and safety risk assessments.
- Ensure First Aid requirements are met and logs maintained.
- Arrange health and safety training.
IT Support
- Manage the IT Services contract with Computerlink.
- Ensure IT systems and devices are well maintained.
- Plan and oversee IT projects and updates.
- Ensure e-safety and GDPR compliance.
- Ensure systems are protected against cyber-attacks.
- Ensure all necessary IT licences are in place.
Risk Management and Data Protection
- Maintain risk management procedures and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor risk policies to minimise organisational risk.
- Maintain and update the operational Risk Register.
- Oversee insurance arrangements.
- Liaise with the Data Protection Officer and ensure compliance with data protection and FOI policies.
- Ensure staff receive data protection training and respond to subject access and FOI requests.
Other Duties
- Follow safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of records and information.
- Participate in training and maintain professional development.
- Induct and train new staff as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation.
